Admission: The faculty at our college was pretty good, but not amazing. They offered extra help to students who were struggling. Teachers were supportive during exams for students who needed it. However, the teaching methods weren't great. It felt like they focused more on just getting us to pass exams rather than helping us learn more.
Placement: I found that there are placements available, but mostly in BPO companies. There are not many IT companies that come for recruitment. In my batch, only a few students got jobs through campus interviews. Unfortunately, most of them ended up in BPO roles. As a computer engineer, it's not ideal to start off in a telecaller position.
Campus: The infrastructure at our college is okay, not amazing. We had decent computer labs, a library, and medical services. They had sports like kabaddi, basketball, and cricket, but not a lot of variety. We didn't have Wi-Fi back then, but they've added it now. The classrooms aren't as nice as some other colleges. The food at the cafeteria was just okay. The hostel rooms were average too.

Admission: The teachers in my department are really helpful and give us a lot of support. The classes are not too strict, and we can ask questions whenever we need to. Some of the teachers don't have a certificate for their master's degree, but a few have gone on to get their doctorate. Most of the teaching is based on theory, and even though we have a lab, the practicals aren't that great. As an electrical student, I found the theory interesting but the practicals were lacking. We did get to visit a substation briefly, which was cool and helpful.
Placement: In the sixth semester, we all get a chance to find jobs. Lots of students are getting jobs in companies in Kerala and other places. Companies like Kinfra, Infosys, and UST Global visit for placements. The lowest salary offered is Rs 30,000 per month, and around 40% of students get placed. I plan to travel abroad after college.
Campus: The college has a nice vibe with cool labs, comfy classrooms, and a library. As a day scholar, I don't stay in the hostel, but my friends say the food isn't great. They pay around 1 lakh a year for it.

Admission: The teachers here are a mixed bag some really know their stuff, while others are just okay. They focus a lot on what's gonna be on the exams. Passing exams isn't too tough. In some departments like aeronautical, there aren't enough teachers for the number of students. We got to go on a cool field trip. The courses actually come in handy. This college is linked up with Anna University.
Placement: I thought there would be good job opportunities after college, but it was all just for show. A few companies showed up for placements, but nobody actually landed a job. Don't count on getting hired through campus placements here. They said everyone in the last batch got placed, but turns out none of them did.
Campus: The college has Jio Wi-Fi which is cool. They've got a basketball court too. The food in the canteen is just okay. Hostel rooms can get pretty cramped with like six people in one small room. Some parts of the college look half-done for a long time. The labs have enough devices to use. The classrooms are spacious but kinda dusty.

Admission: The teachers knew their stuff and were really helpful. They rushed through lessons to finish the syllabus on time. The course content was somewhat related to real-world stuff, and we felt prepared for the industry.
Placement: Most students got placed, which is cool. The pay ranged from 15k to 25k, not bad. HCL was a big recruiter here. HR jobs were the most common. The pay ranged from 1.5 to 3 Lacs per year. Everyone got internships from UST Global and Raviz Group.
Campus: The classrooms, library, and labs are all good. But the hostel is just okay, and the wi-fi connection isn't great. The hostel facilities like food, medical help, and sports are average. They really need to step up their game with the hostels because lots of out-of-state students prefer living off-campus instead.

Admission: The professors in my course are really good. The head of our department and other teachers are very professional. They work hard to help us improve. They organize activities in the seminar hall, like helping us with English communication. Our college is affiliated with Anna University, which is one of the best universities. I'm happy with the faculty in the MBA department.
Placement: The placement cell was pretty inactive. Most companies hiring were just BPOs, and the pay was really low. They promised good companies would come during enrollment, but the placement system was a mess. As an MBA grad, I felt let down.
Campus: The college has pretty good facilities. We've got a nice volleyball ground, a good canteen, and a main store. We've also got a computer lab, but some of the computers and stuff don't work. Even after telling them, the management didn't do anything about it. The library is great with lots of books. There's a medical officer and medical facilities available. We have a sports day once a year where we play games like cricket, volleyball, and khokho.

Admission: The teachers here are not great. They teach in a boring way, just making us memorize stuff. They don't encourage thinking creatively. I end up learning things on my own. It feels like they only care about money. Some of my friends struggle with the basics because of them. The staff and board members are not good either. I did graduate without a ceremony yet. I had to go pick up my certificates myself. They even charged me Rs. 1,500 for graduation expenses. Our industry visit wasn't helpful at all, no real-world experience. The course content was okay, but the teachers and their teaching style need improvement.
Placement: I didn't see any placements happening during my time at the college. They talk about placements, but it seems like just stories. They say some students got jobs, but it's hard to believe. I even doubt my own selection at HCL, it might be fake too. Just a heads up, placements might not be what they say they are.
Campus: The classrooms at the campus are kinda average, not great for engineering. Labs, library, and medical facilities are also just okay. Feels like a basic high school. They say the labs are top-notch in brochures, but not really. Hostels are decent, though. But trust me, it's all just marketing. No Wi-Fi here, can't even use your gadgets. At the start, they hype up everything during fresher's time. Hostels are pretty bad, no freedom at all. No gym, Wi-Fi, or study rooms. The food in the mess is horrible. But I guess that's the norm in most colleges.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They explain things well and make sure we get it. The course material is good too. They use books by local authors, which are easier to understand than the fancy ones. The teachers work hard to help us understand everything.
Placement: Lots of big companies came to our college for job opportunities. About half of us got jobs in different companies, mostly local ones. Many of us also did internships, but they weren't paid.
Campus: The college has a bunch of labs like mechanical, electronics, electrical, computer, aeronautical, and automobile labs. The library has books from famous and local authors for different departments. The girls' hostel isn't that safe, so it's better if girls don't stay there.
