MDU- MDUCET Scholarship
MDU conducts MDUCET to help determine scholarship eligibility. Depending on their MDUCET score, students may earn up to a 100% scholarship on their tuition fee. This scholarship is available even if students are already beneficiaries of other scholarships offered by the university.

MDU- Merit/Percentage in Qualifying Examination Scholarship
MDU awards scholarships to students based on their academic performance in the qualifying exam. This could be the percentage achieved in class 10th for admission to a Diploma program, or the percentage achieved in 10+2 or equivalent exam for admission to an Undergraduate program. For students seeking admission to Post-graduate programs (MBA), their aggregate marks in bachelor’s and master’s degrees will be considered for the scholarship.

MDU- National Level Entrance Tests Scholarship
MDU offers scholarships based on scores obtained in National Level Entrance Tests. The scholarships vary depending on the course of study and performance in the respective entrance test.
MDU- Social Responsibility Scholarship
As part of its commitment to social responsibility, scholarships are also provided to defence personnel and physically handicapped children. A range of scholarships are available under this category.
MDU- Sports Scholarship
MDU acknowledges and rewards talented athletes through their Sports Scholarship program. These scholarships are awarded based on students' performances in national and international competitions.
MDU- Uttarakhand Private Universities Act Scholarship
MDU also offers the "Merit cum Means Scholarships for Domicile Students of Uttarakhand", in accordance with the Uttarakhand Private Universities Act.
MDU- Scholarships Terms and Conditions
While the scholarships are unconditional for the first academic year (1st and 2nd semester), for subsequent years, the scholarship will only continue if students pass the semester/annual examination without any backlog in the first attempt. A minimum of 80% attendance in each course is mandatory to continue the scholarship in every semester. A grave act of indiscipline resulting in disciplinary action would result in the discontinuation of the scholarship from that semester onwards.
