Admission: Most teachers are okay, they show up for class. But some don't really care about us. They skip classes and then suddenly at the end of the semester, they ask for assignments out of the blue. It's frustrating when they give us last-minute deadlines like that.
Placement: I'm in my second semester now and just saw the placements of the seniors in the Computer Science department. The average CSE package is 8 LPA, with the highest being 26 LPA. It's pretty good for a government college. Out of 63 students, 5 got packages above 20 LPA. It's cool to see where we could end up after graduation.
Campus: The college's infrastructure was a big letdown. No Wi-Fi, and classes from 10 to 5 are longer than my high school hours. First-year classes were in rooms with no fans or broken ones.

Admission: The teachers here really help during exams. They know their stuff and teach well. The courses are practical and get us ready for jobs. Exams are a bit challenging, but most students pass with over 80%. It's great!
Placement: The placement rate for my course was pretty good at 53%. The highest salary offered was 10 LPA and the lowest was 5 LPA. On average, students were getting around 6.60 LPA. The top companies that recruited from our course were L&T, Adani, and JK Cement. Around 75% of students landed internships with companies like Adani Group, JK Cement, and Shree Cement as assistant managers.
Campus: The facilities for my course are pretty good. The department doesn't have Wi-Fi, but the labs are in good shape. The hostels are better than average and the food is decent. I like that there are lots of sports clubs, but it's a bummer that there are no medical facilities around.

Admission: Some professors are good, others not so much. The engineering program is like what you'd find at other schools, but some classes don't offer many choices. We have two midterms every semester plus a final exam. You need 75% attendance to sit for the main exam.
Placement: The average placement for civil engineers in my college is around 8-10 LPA. Most civil engineering students don't go for placements; they prefer government jobs or higher studies. The main companies that hire civil engineering students from my college are L and T, Adani, and JK Cement. They usually offer jobs in construction, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is pretty bad. Hygiene is a big issue; water coolers don't work and washrooms are dirty or clogged. Fans are broken in most departments, which is tough in such a hot city like Jodhpur. The library isn't great either. There aren't many facilities like good sports courts, gyms, or a proper canteen. Even the hostels have problems with cleanliness, facilities, and infrastructure. In summer, there's even a water problem in the hostels.

Admission: The teachers at this college really help me out during exams. They know their stuff and teach well. The teaching is top-notch. But the course content isn't practical for the real world. The exams are super tough. Only 80% of students pass here.
Placement: In my course, about 45% of students got placed out of a total of 60 students. The highest package is 8 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is around 6 LPA. SmartEd and CreateBytes are the main companies that hire from my college. Unfortunately, the college doesn't arrange internships, so we have to find them ourselves.
Campus: The facilities at my college are pretty good. The labs in my department are well-maintained. The classrooms are okay, and the library is great. Unfortunately, there's no Wi-Fi. The hostels are decent with three seating rooms that have enough space. The washrooms could be better. The food in the mess is better than average. However, there are no medical facilities on campus. On the bright side, there are plenty of sports and games clubs to join.

Admission: The electrical department has some really experienced senior professors teaching many subjects. They teach really well. Sometimes, the college brings in guest professors for certain subjects, and they're good too. If you pay attention and study well, you'll be ready for the industry, especially after doing an internship. The semester exams aren't too hard as long as you study. There are also two mid-semester exams during each semester.
Placement: Around 60% of students have found placements by March. The highest salary offered is 7 LPA with extra perks, while the lowest is usually between 3 to 4 LPA. For core branches, the average offer is around 4.5 LPA. Some of the top companies that come for placements are Adani, Havells, ArcelorMittal, Secure Meter, DCM, Shri Ram, and Clean Max.
Campus: The college is pretty old and will turn 75 in 2025. The infrastructure is not the best, but each department has labs and there's a library with course books. The hostel facilities are decent too.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and really know their stuff. Some of them have been teaching for like 40-50 years! They all show up regularly and the curriculum is up-to-date. The semester exams aren't too hard. If you start studying about a month before, you can get a good score. Around 80% of students pass.
Placement: In 2024, around 60-65 students from our college got jobs. The average salary was 6.60 LPA. The highest salary offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. About 80% of students also got internships that year. Some of the top companies that visited our campus were DCM Shriram, Vedanta, NBC, JK Cement, Adani Group, Shree Cement, Borosil, and Alstom.
Campus: The classrooms are in pretty good shape. The labs have all the tools we need. The library is huge and well-kept. It's a shame the department doesn't offer Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities are okay, nothing special. The bathrooms are not great though. The hostel campus isn't very tidy. Food is average, and there's no sports stuff in the hostel.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is really bad. Hygiene is not taken seriously here. The water coolers don't work, washrooms are dirty or blocked. Fans don't work in most departments, which is a big issue in such a hot city like Jodhpur. The library isn't great either. There aren't any other facilities like sports courts, gyms, or a proper canteen. The hostels are also not good - they lack hygiene, proper infrastructure, and other facilities. During summer, there's often a water problem in the hostels.

Admission: The professors at this college are really experienced and dedicated. They have been teaching for more than 7-9 years in their field. They know a lot about their subjects. We have 2 midterms and one final exam each term. The curriculum is challenging but interesting.
Placement: Out of 60 students, 47 got placed and some are going for further studies. The top package of 18 LPA was grabbed by 3 students, while the middle one is 10.5 LPA, and the lowest is 8 LPA. The Electrical Engineering branch is the oldest, so it has a great alumni network that supports students in moving forward. Talking to seniors regularly really helps us improve our skills.
Campus: The Wi-Fi works at both the college and hostel, but it's pretty slow. Some spots have faster Wi-Fi though. The library has over 3,000 books split into two sections: the ME library and the Basic library. The ME department is way better equipped than the others. The staff there is super helpful and friendly, always ready to assist students.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really helpful and know their stuff. They have a lot of experience teaching, which we start getting in the 2nd year depending on our major. In the 1st year, some teachers are great, but others could be better.
Placement: In my course, about half of the students get placed. For mining, MBM University offers good packages with Vedanta being the top recruiting company. The highest package is around 16 LPA, while the average package is between 5-6 LPA.
Campus: The buildings at MBM University are pretty old because the college was set up in 1951. The lecture halls for first-year students aren't so good, but things improve from the second year with better classrooms and teachers. Wi-Fi is there in different departments, but I'm not sure about the hostels. They're close to the university, though. The canteen recently reopened after many years, but there's no medical help available. Sports events happen once a year.
