Academic: At our institute, the course content is okay, and the professors are also pretty good, sometimes even excellent. They organize exams well, which makes things smooth. But in summer, the exam rooms get super hot because the fans don't work right and there's no air. We all know you can't really expect a curriculum like Harvard or Stanford for general studies here in India. It's just how things normally are.

Placement: Here, our professors are really awesome, much better than what you find in other universities. The student crowd is okay, not too big or small. You'll definitely meet many students who are very studious and smart. But to be frank, I didn't see much new or creative thinking from them. Also, some students get really into politics and have strong views, so politics is quite active. My advice is to just focus on your own career goals and spend time with friends who have similar thoughts.

Campus: At Motilal Nehru evening College, the infrastructure is just okay. I mean, the classrooms are not good at all, ventilation is poor and windows don't open properly. It's like only the college's outer buildings look fine, but inside, the classrooms are pretty old and not well kept. The crowd here is average, so you have to choose your friends wisely. Our teachers are decent though. Fees are very low, only 9,000 rupees a year. So, if you're spending money in Delhi, it's mostly for living, not for college studies. My main tip would be to enjoy Delhi fully, make some really good friends, and really focus on your career. The college part is not that big of a deal, honestly.

Academic: Our faculty for the core subjects is really good, especially for History Hons students like me. All our main teachers are super qualified and well-known in history studies. For subjects other than core, the teachers are mostly ADHOC, but they are very helpful and kind to students. They teach us using their own notes or good professional references, which makes understanding things much better and more realistic. For internal grading, teachers usually take assignments, class tests, and viva. External exams follow the rules set by the University of Delhi. You need 40% to pass, and honestly, the exams are not hard at all; you just need to be good at writing answers to score well.

Placement: About placements at our college, the cell is not active right now. But our student council is working hard on this. They promised that the placement cell will be active again by September end. Once it's active, there will be different people in the cell who will contact various companies for us students to get jobs.

Campus: Our college infrastructure is pretty good. We have many blocks for classes like Jubilee Block, PG Block, PC Block, 1st Floor, Ground Floor, and GE Block. Most classrooms have AC that works well, except for the 1st and ground floor ones which are non-AC. There's also an AC library with free Wi-Fi and an E-resource room for seminars. For sports and fun, we get a playground, basketball court, volleyball court, and a kabaddi court. Plus, there is a canteen, grounds for cultural clubs to do their activities, a music room, and a cultural room. Medical facilities are also available here. The college does not provide hostel facilities, but lots of residential areas are nearby, like Satya Niketan, Shanti Niketan, Vasant Village, and Bersarai, where rent usually starts from 4k and goes up to 25k.

Our teachers are serious about us studying and make sure to update our CA and IA scores. They conduct tests, presentations, and assignments regularly to keep us on track.

Placement: My course has average cut-off marks and overall percentage here at college. What's good is that students choose this course because they actually want it. For my BA programme, which is an arts course, I don't really know much about placements or what companies come. But I do think the placement cell overall is good, from what I hear. To get recruited, you basically need almost 8 CGPA every semester. I've heard that the commerce department has a proper placement cell, and even the chemistry department gets good placements.

Campus: Our college has really good infrastructure. We don't have super tall buildings, but all classrooms have AC and everything like benches, desks, lights, and fans are fitted very nicely. The canteen also has good facilities, with AC, and the food there is quite affordable. We have many blocks and each department has its own area. Plus, lots of societies are active here, making sure our college campus always has a good vibe.

Most students from B.Com (Hons) actually get placed here. As a Political Science Honors student, I've really had a chance to explore what happens in society and connect it with ideas like equality, justice, liberalism, and feminism.

Campus: The ground area of our college is really beautiful, and the whole campus looks so good. Inside, the classrooms are too good, and our library is also nice, with good Wi-Fi working there. But big problem is, the college doesn't give any hostel, so everyone has to find a PG (paying guest) near the campus.

Even though big companies like TCS come for recruitment, the placement rate stays really low for most students. I think this is mostly because of the bad management in the commerce department and some issues with the college president.

Campus: The canteen food at our college is really good and tasty, plus it's super cheap. Our classrooms are always clean and have AC, making the whole place very peaceful. We've got the best library too. Also, Wi-Fi covers the whole college area with the best speed. Just so you know, Motilal Nehru College doesn't offer a hostel facility. For sports, the department provides all types of games for us.

Most of the jobs they offered were for writer or content creator roles. The highest salary someone got was 4.3 lakhs, and the lowest package offered was 2 lakh per year.

Campus: The facilities in our college are just awesome, they even built a new computer lab recently. You know, the library is pretty cool too, with free and fast WiFi, plus it has all the books we need. When it comes to food, it's kind of decent only. Our classrooms are average, but the labs are really top-notch, all fitted with new equipment.

They are even saying this society will give placements to evening college students too, starting this year, which is great. But right now, our college doesn't have a proper placement cell. Also, for my course, the college doesn't really offer any placement help.

Campus: The college campus looks well-planned and good. In our classrooms, around 80 students can sit at once, so they are pretty big. The clubs and societies are really active and joining them is a lot of fun. And for studies, the library has all the books and journals we need for our syllabus. Just one thing, the college doesnt have a hostel facility.
