Academic: What I like about this place is that the administration here is super chill, not like other colleges. Our teachers are also very professional and they even talk to students one-on-one if someone has problems with studies. For exams, it's always one CIA and then one end-sem exam every semester, just like it was in my first semester.

Placement: At Mount Carmel College, I'm just in my first year, so I don't really have a full idea about placements yet. What I've heard is that getting placements can be pretty tough here. They usually say the average salary package is around 4 to 7 LPA. I did one internship, though it was non-paying, with Indian Artists Collective. One thing I've found out is if you want internships, you really need to be friendly with the professors.

Campus: Okay, so in my block, the infrastructure is actually pretty nice. Like, every classroom here has a computer and a projector, which is quite helpful. But then you see other blocks, especially the LSCB one, and their benches and all the stuff there are really old. About the hostel situation, there's no hostel available for boys right now since this is their first year. Girls do have a hostel though, and my friends who stay there told me it's pretty decent. Just don't expect anything too fancy, but it's okay.

Admission: Communication from MCC during admission was clear and timely. The application form was simple, merit list updates were shared via email, and staff support reduced stress during initial steps.

Academic: In our college, the teachers are really good and they know everything. The studies are fine, but I feel like we need more practical projects that are useful for jobs. There's also an extra course which makes getting a job super easy. Exams each semester are not too hard, not too easy, with questions from both theory and what we learned to use.

Placement: Around 80 to 90% of students usually find jobs after college. The highest salary someone got was 24 LPA, and on average, students get about 7 LPA. Even the lowest packages are okay, mostly ranging from 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, Accenture, and many new startups come to recruit from here. Most students get placed as software developers, data analysts, or in system roles.

Campus: Department has good labs and classrooms with all the equipment. Hostels here are decent and rooms are kept very clean. We also get hygienic food, and medical help is always available. For sports, there is a gym and courts, and they hold many competitions too. Plus, there is a digital library and good Wi-Fi available all over the campus.

Admission: Joining phase felt welcoming at MCC. Staff were patient during verification, queries were answered clearly, and orientation provided a good understanding of college expectations.

Academic: Our college curriculum is quite wide, and they really focus on making us good in all areas, not just studies. Every semester we get to do an internship, which is a good thing. Also, there's a chance to go for dual specialization. Classes happen from Monday to Saturday.

Placement: As a first-year student here, I haven't faced the placement process yet. But according to my seniors, I hear that the placements are quite good. There is a dedicated placement cell in our college where any interested student can enroll. For more information, it is best to go and visit the placement cell directly.

Campus: I stay in a PG with two of my classmates. We all share the rent, so it becomes quite affordable for us. Our PG also gives us food, but that cost is separate from the room rent. Our college has hostel facilities too, but students there have to follow very strict rules. Overall, it is a nice experience, and we are making many good memories during this time.

Admission: Joining Mount Carmel College felt very organized. Once the merit list was published, document verification proceeded smoothly without much hassle. Academic: At Mount Carmel College, the M.Sc. Botany course is quite good. Its syllabus is very relevant and industry-focused, which really helps students prepare for jobs. The teachers here are also very helpful. They are qualified and know a lot, so they teach us really well. Semester exams are challenging, but you can pass them if you study. Usually, around 55% of students clear these exams. Overall, the course balances academic studies with practical skills very nicely.

Placement: From my experience, around 70% of students from our course actually get placed. The salary packages are pretty good, with the highest being 7 LPA and the lowest around 3 LPA, while the average package is about 5 LPA. Many big names like research institutions and botanical organizations come to recruit us. Also, about 30% of students get internships, with some working at places like the Indian Botanical Research Institute and various environmental NGOs. The main jobs we get are researcher, plant biotechnologist, and conservationist.

Campus: At Amount Carmel College, the infrastructure is really good. We have well-equipped labs in our department, and the WiFi is always working properly. Classrooms are modern too. The library is big and has many books for studying and research. Hostels are decent, rooms are clean, and the food quality in the mess is also good. They have enough medical facilities, and sports facilities are great for staying active. All these facilities make our academic experience here quite productive.

Academic: Our teachers here are pretty good, they really do their job well and help us out a lot. It is important to have a good bond with them, and they explain everything in full detail, even sharing extra knowledge beyond the syllabus. The college has a wide course curriculum, which really focuses on making us all-round developed, not just academic-wise. We have final exams after every semester. For core subjects, the written exam is 70 marks, and 30 marks are for CIA. For allied courses, it is 30 marks for written and 20 marks for CIA. Plus, there are also some extra credit courses each semester.

Placement: Most companies that come for placements are usually looking for students in finance, accounting, HR, sales, BPO, or marketing fields. My friends from the B.Com Industry Integrated course actually got placed in good companies with nice salaries. This is mainly because companies feel we get a lot of exposure to different businesses during our internships. A cool thing about our course is that we have an internship after every semester. Also, you get the chance for dual specialisation here. Classes run from Monday to Saturday.

Campus: I haven't actually stayed in the hostel myself. But from what my friends tell me, the facilities there are pretty good. The surroundings are also nice. Plus, the hostel fees are not that high when you compare them to paying guest places outside.

Admission: Admission into Mount Carmel College felt smooth overall. Instructions were clear, staff were responsive to queries, and each step followed logically.

Academic: The psychology faculty here is really nice and they know so much. They are easy to talk to and teach everything very clearly. For the psychology course, it's pretty simple. In the first year, we study general psychology. Then in the second year, it's developmental psychology. When we reach the third year, we get to choose between abnormal psychology and counselling psychology.

Placement: Regarding placements at MCC, the commerce department does really well. But it's different for arts students; there are hardly any placements there. This is mainly because most arts students choose to go for higher studies, plus there are very few jobs available for arts students right after graduation. For psychology students, it's hard to find time for internships, so many have to search for them by themselves and end up doing them online.

Campus: College has two canteens for everyone. The main one is called Triple C; it has all kinds of food and the prices are good too. Then there is the Purple Corner, which is an open-air canteen and serves decent food. We also have smart classrooms here. I can't really tell you much about the hostels though, because I did not stay there myself.

Admission: Entry into Mount Carmel College turned out smooth. The online application and verification process were well-managed, counselling was organized, and provisional admission was shared quickly before final registration.

Academic: My take on this college is that the teachers mostly did their part, nothing more. They taught us software but not fully. It's hard to say if this was because of online classes or just how they teach it, but it was acceptable. The curriculum needs a lot more real-world knowledge for students to really get ready for jobs, since actual work is very different from what's taught here. Also, the exams are not easy at all, and the pass percentage is 35%.

Placement: What I learned in my course is that marks are not that important. Your portfolio is the main thing, so you have to make really good projects. For placements, the highest package someone got was 37k, and the lowest was 12k. Internships were optional for our batch because of Covid. In our class of 30 students, only 3 went for an internship. Companies like Homelane and Rolls came and gave roles like design project manager and also interior designer.

Campus: At our institute, we get some good facilities like Wi-Fi, charging points, and proper smart classrooms. There's also a library which is a decent size for students to study. When it comes to the hostel, it's mostly given to students who apply really early. Sports and medical services are just alright, nothing amazing. My only issue is that the faculty members are generally not very friendly.

Admission: Timelines during admission were clearly communicated. Regular updates prevented confusion, and the process moved steadily from counselling to final registration.

Academic: Mount Carmel College teachers are quite helpful, you know. They are experts in their subjects and always gave me the right guidance to learn things. The exams here were a bit challenging but not too difficult. Generally, the exam difficulty is medium, and about 90% of students pass without much trouble.

Placement: For my courses, placement is quite good, with around 60% of students getting jobs. Top companies like Green Room, Amazon, Tesco, Indigo, and TCS visit for placements. The highest salary package someone got was 7 lakhs per year, while the lowest was 3 lakhs, and on average, it was about 5 lakhs. Also, nearly 80% of students from our courses managed to get internships.

Campus: At Mount Carmel, the infrastructure is seriously the best. The labs, classrooms, and even the library are built really well, they are super spacious and look so pretty. Plus, the hostel facilities are good, and the food they serve there is quite tasty too.

Academic: Professors are super qualified and know their stuff well. Semester exams happen every three months at our college. The pass percentage for each subject is different, it's not fixed. Attendance is really important here, like super important. If your attendance is low, you won't be allowed to write the exam.

Placement: From our course, students mostly get jobs in data analysis. For internships, about 70% of students in our group get them in top companies like EY. Talking about placements, around 80% of people get placed. The highest salary someone from our group got was 30 Lakhs per year, and the lowest package was 14 Lakhs per year.

Campus: College infrastructure is really good, I think it's the best compared to other colleges. But about the hostel, I'd suggest you don't stay in the college hostel. It's way too expensive and you can't even wash your clothes there. It's better to find a PG outside, trust me.

Placement: I saw in our college was that about half of the students got placed. Many big companies came for hiring, like EY, KPMG, and Deloitte. Also, almost all students got internships, especially with companies like KPMG. The jobs people mostly got were like finance associate and data analyst.

Campus: Campus is pretty big and the overall infrastructure is good. We get free Wi-Fi everywhere, and the labs are decent. The library is also huge. Classrooms here are nice and kept well. Hostels are good with tasty food available all the time. There is even a big football ground for everyone to play.
