Admission: The student-to-faculty ratio is pretty high here. Most professors have an M.Tech from IIT/NIT, and a few have a Ph.D. They're all nice and willing to help out. Exams are held on time, fairly, and without any issues. The passing rate for the semester is around 80%.
Placement: I'm in Civil Engineering, and not as many students get jobs as in IT or ECE. But companies like Wipro, TCS, HCL, and ACCENTURE come for placements. The highest pay is 29 lakhs a year, and the lowest is 2.6 lakhs. On average, it's 3.6 lakhs. There are internships too, and the college gives a NOC Certificate for one-month leave.
Campus: The buildings are old, but the main one is nice. The labs are great, and the lab staff are helpful. Campus has free Wi-Fi, a library with all the books you need, and a quiet study area. M.I.T. has 7 hostels. They offer 4 B.Ed. in a room for 1st and 2nd years, and single rooms for 3rd and 4th years. Hostel food is tasty, but it costs $3500 a month. The sports facilities are awesome with a big playground for cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and know their stuff. They're really smart and teach well. The semester exams are tough, and the teachers take them seriously. You need to get at least 33% in each subject to pass both the theory and lab tests.
Placement: Around 20% of students get placed every year. The highest salary is about INR 6LPA, the lowest is around INR 2LPA, and the average is about INR 3LPA. Alstom is a big company that hires a lot of students. Not many students get internships through the college, but a good number of us end up as GETs in different companies.
Campus: The lab and classroom facilities are great, but the internet in college is a problem. It's either super slow or our phones can't connect to the Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities are top-notch, but the food in the mess is not that good. On the bright side, there are awesome sports, games, and medical facilities available on campus.

Admission: The teachers in the IT department really know their stuff and most of them have fancy degrees like Ph.D. or M.Tech. Exams in each semester are kind of tough but not impossible to pass. Doing well depends on knowing the theory and how to use it in real life.
Placement: The IT department has a good placement record, with about 75% of students getting placed. The highest salary offered to IT students is around 17 LPA, while the average salary ranges between 3-4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and HCL Technologies regularly recruit from our college. The placement cell works hard to bring these opportunities to us, connecting with different companies for internships and job placements.
Campus: The classrooms are big with comfy seats and good air circulation. The labs have everything we need. The library is full of books for studying. We have our own hostels with nice rooms, food, and safety. There's also a cafeteria on campus. And we can play both indoor and outdoor sports here. It's great!

Admission: The teachers at our college know their stuff and are really good. They explain things well and make sure we cover everything on time. But the stuff we learn is kinda old-fashioned and doesn't get us ready for jobs. The exams are tough, maybe tougher than what other colleges have. And quite a few students end up having to redo some subjects every semester.
Placement: The placements at our college aren't great because not many companies come here. It's better to look for jobs off-campus. In the last batch that graduated in 2020, the highest salary offered was 9 LPA and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Some companies like Wipro, Mantra, and Cognitive come for recruitment, but there are others that aren't well-known. Only around 20-30% of students from IT, EE, Civil, ECE, and Mechanical branches get internships. Most of the roles offered are for project engineers.
Campus: The college is pretty old, so the buildings and facilities are not well-maintained. The lab is okay, but some machines don't work. For IT, we have a separate building with Wi-Fi that's not working and classrooms that are not clean. The hostel is nice, but the food in the mess is not great. There's no medical help on campus, so we have to go to the hospital on our own. The sports facilities are good with separate grounds for different sports like cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton.

Admission: The best thing about this college is the faculty. They're so helpful and supportive. They know their stuff since many of them studied at top institutes like IITs, NITs, and IIITs. They always have our backs no matter what.
Placement: The placement rate keeps going up each year for all courses. Lots of tech companies come to our college to hire students. On average, students get around 5 LPA as their salary. TCS and Jio are the main companies hiring in our course. The college helps us find internships and gives good guidance.
Campus: The college was established in 1954 and it's in good shape. There's a cricket ground, football ground, volleyball court, and badminton court for students to use. We also have a cafeteria to chill with friends. The library is open daily and the labs (chemistry, physics, and computer) are all well-kept.

Admission: The teachers and head of department are really nice and helpful. Exams during mid-semester and end-semester are not too hard. You just need to get 33 marks out of 100 to pass. The internal marks given by the professors are good. Classes are always on time.
Placement: I'm currently studying Mechanical Engineering at MIT Muzaffarpur in Bihar. How good the placements are here really comes down to how much effort students put in. Lately, we've been seeing more and more on-campus job opportunities popping up.
Campus: The hostel facilities aren't great, but living on campus for 4 years gives a classic vibe of fun and bonding. The college environment is really nice. They offer good skill development activities and competitions, which are better than other colleges in Bihar, except NIT and IIT. The labs are well-equipped, and students get proper support from lab assistants for experiments. The library has everything you need, like internet, AC, and all the facilities.

Admission: The teachers are super helpful and really know their stuff. The AICTE manages all the course material, which helps us get ready for the industry. The semester exams are not too hard, and the passing rate is similar to other engineering schools.
Placement: I was in a course where only a small number of students, around 10%, got placed. The highest salary offered was 8.5 LPA, while the lowest was 3.5 LPA. Alstom was the only company that came for on-campus recruitment. Some of us found jobs through off-campus placements. Unfortunately, there weren't any companies offering internships. The most popular role offered was SDE.
Campus: The teachers are super nice and always there to help. We have labs, Wi-Fi, and a library on campus. The hostel buildings need some fixing up. The campus is big with a field for sports and a canteen for food. It's a pretty cool place to study.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really good and they have passed the GATE exam. They help us a lot. The exams are tough, run by BPSC. We have midterms and final exams here. Most students pass, about 90%.
Placement: Most students in our branch get jobs, around 70-80%. Last year, the highest salary offered was 10 LPA. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and others come for placements. They offer roles as engineers. On average, the salary package is 4.5 LPA.
Campus: The classrooms in our college have Wi-Fi, smart boards, fans, AC, and RO for water. The library is air-conditioned and students can borrow books for free. The hostel is large with separate ones for each year. The mess serves tasty food.

Admission: The faculty in my department are really nice and they teach well. They're friendly towards students. I'm glad I picked Mechanical Engineering here. The college won't make you job-ready, though. You have to rely on yourself for that, which is pretty normal for most colleges.
Placement: I think about 40-50% of students got placed. The highest package was around 7.8 Lacs, the lowest was 2 Lacs, and the average was 3 Lacs. Alstom is a top company for Mechanical students, and they hired 10-12 students last year.
Campus: The college has everything we need, like 3 to 4 labs with Wi-Fi and AC. The classrooms are nice and bright with lots of windows. There are 7 hostels with good facilities, though some minor issues. Sports are a big deal here, with lots of events. Our college organized "UMANG" where engineering colleges from Bihar came together for sports. It's a fun place to study and play!

Admission: The teachers here are awesome for my course. The place is great for studying on my own, especially for government jobs, GATE, and CAT exams. The semester exams are not too hard, but getting a 9 CGPA is tough. Most students pass though, about 85 percent.
Placement: Around half of the students manage to get jobs after college. Everyone in the IT department gets placed. The best offer is INR 33 LPA from Google for off-campus roles, and INR 11 LPA on-campus. On average, most students get jobs with salaries between INR 4 to 5 LPA. Companies like Alstom, HCL, TCS, and Wipro hire a lot of students from our college.
Campus: The college was founded in 1954, so the buildings are old, but they still look nice. The hostel could use some fixing up, and the food isn't worth the price. There's no medical center on campus. But the sports facilities are great, and they have a sports fest called UMANG every year with around 40 colleges joining in.
