Admission: In the first year, the faculty isn't the best, but things get better from the second year. Not all teachers are perfect, but most of them are good. In the civil department, there are two sections with about 50-70 students each. Teachers teach in classrooms and labs. The faculty gives students exposure to real-world industries. The course curriculum is helpful for students.
Placement: The placements at NITK are pretty good. Don't expect a high package in civil, though. But overall, the placements are satisfying. This year, about 67% of students got placed. Many civil students go for higher studies instead of campus placements. Still, compared to other top colleges, the placement rate here is decent. The average package for civil this year was around 6 lakhs per annum, with the highest being 13 lakhs per annum. These numbers are good, even compared to IITs. L&T was the main company hiring students. Over 30 students got top internships in their third year, and almost 60% got internships directly from the college. The placement cell is helpful if you're aiming for a good package.
Campus: The college buildings are not all shiny and new. We have three lecture halls - LHC A, B, and C. LHC-C is the newest and has top-notch classrooms. LHC-B is good too, but LHC-A is old and not comfy. The chemical and mechanical departments have great new buildings. The library is huge with lots of books. There's a health center, but it's closed on weekends. They give us a card for discounts at hospitals. The sports complex is nice with badminton, table tennis, tennis, basketball, volleyball, and a pool. The field is small, though, and lots of games happen at once. The canteen food is good, and there are other places to eat too. There are 4-night canteens for late snacks. It's hard to find good non-veg food around here. The hostel rooms are clean with marble floors and tidy bathrooms.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff and are really helpful, but the teaching could be better. The course covers what we need to know, but it doesn't prepare us for the industry. The semester exams are tough to pass, with only about 80% of students making it through.
Placement: The placement rate is around 5%, with the highest package being 4.5 Lacs per year and the lowest at 3 lakh. Most of the companies that come for placements are startups. Unfortunately, no one has managed to secure an internship through the college. After graduation, students often find roles as software testers, electronics engineers, software cum hardware engineers, and software designers.
Campus: The facilities in labs, classrooms, and libraries are just okay. The infrastructure isn't great there's no hostel or medical facilities. The canteen is expensive, and the food is just average. They do have sports activities, but there's no stationary shop or extra activities available.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really know their stuff and are super helpful. We have exams every semester which can be tough. The course doesn't really prepare us for the industry though.
Placement: Around 60% of students found jobs after graduating, with the highest salary being 7 Lacs per year. Some of the top companies that hire from our college are Infosys, Amazon, Flipkart, and Aeries Global. Plus, more than 70% of students get internships too.
Campus: The college has Wi-Fi and labs for students to use. Unfortunately, there's no canteen on campus. But there are sports facilities where lots of students enjoy playing games.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good at teaching. They know their stuff and are well-trained. The courses they offer are great. Even though they don't have a lot of job-related courses, they still prepare us well. The exams are tough but fair, and they keep an eye on us with CCTV. Most students pass the exams with no problem.
Placement: This year, the placements were awesome compared to last year. Almost half of the students from all branches got placed in big companies like Accenture, Wipro, Inflatable, Mindtree, and more. The highest salary offered was 6 LPA, while the lowest was around 2.5-3 LPA. In the CS branch, students got cool roles like Java developer, DBA administrator, and web developer.
Campus: The college's infrastructure and facilities are okay, especially for the price. The classrooms and labs are pretty good - they're big and well-designed. Students don't get Wi-Fi, only the teachers do. But the food in the canteen is great! There's a wide menu and the prices are affordable.

Admission: The teachers are pretty good and usually ready to help, but sometimes the way they teach can vary. The stuff we learn is useful, but I wish we did more hands-on stuff. Exams are okay, not too hard. Most people pass with a grade between 75% to 85%, so it's not super tough.
Placement: I was really let down by the fact that even though we worked hard and did well in our classes, only a small portion of students (like around 10%) actually got jobs after graduation. And the pay they got was way lower than what people usually get in the industry. It just goes to show that we really need better help and support when it comes to finding jobs.
Campus: The hostel and course facilities are good enough, not amazing. Wi-Fi works fine, labs are okay, classrooms have what we need, and the library is helpful. The hostel rooms are clean, but the food is just okay. They've got basic medical and sports stuff too.

Admission: The faculty here is awesome, but some teachers aren't as great. Some lecturers could definitely improve their teaching skills.
Placement: Lots of big companies like Infosys and Accenture come to our college for placements in our course.
Campus: The college building is still being built, but the rooms are cleaned daily. It's not super big, actually smaller than other colleges.
