Nagaland University is a Central University located at Lumami, Zünheboto district, Nagaland, India, established in 1989 by an Act of Parliament. Nagaland University UG Admission

The Lumami campus offers undergraduate programs such as B.Sc, B.A, B.Com across multiple disciplines. The intake for UG courses is typically ~180–250 seats per major, with admissions based on CUET UG scores or merit in qualifying exams. The annual fee for UG programs ranges from INR 8,000–12,000. The last admission cycle saw cutoffs for CUET UG in the 65–75 percentile range for general categories. Reserved category relaxations apply as per government norms.

 

Nagaland University PG Admission

Postgraduate admissions at Lumami include M.A, M.Sc, M.Com programs in disciplines like Botany, Chemistry, Economics, Sociology, and Political Science. The intake per PG program is generally ~60–80 seats. Selection is through CUET PG or merit in graduation, with cutoffs in the 55–65 percentile range for general category. Nagaland University PhD Admission

The Lumami campus offers PhD programs in subjects such as Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, Geography, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, and more. The intake per department is typically 6–12 seats annually. Selection is based on a university-conducted entrance test and interview, with eligibility requiring a Master’s degree (55%+). The annual PhD fee is around INR 18,000–22,000. Last year, entrance cutoffs ranged from 50–60% in written tests. UGC fellowships and departmental scholarships are available for eligible candidates.
