About NCHMCT

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, established in 1982. Headquartered at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with its registered office in Pusa, New Delhi, NCHMCT regulates and standardizes hospitality education across 95 affiliated institutes as of 2024–25. The Council oversees academic standards for Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) and Food Craft Institutes (FCIs), offering 13 professional programs from certificate to master’s level. NCHMCT’s flagship program is the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, widely recognized for producing skilled professionals for the hospitality industry.
