23 Sept, 2025 : Applications for NID Admissions 2026 are now open, with the last date to apply online being 1 December 2025. The Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims will be held on 21 December 2025 across centres. Admissions are open for B.Des programmes at NID Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Assam, and M.Des programmes at NID Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Bengaluru.

National Institute of Design (NID), situated in Umri, Kurukshetra, Haryana, is one of India’s premier design institutes. Established in 2016 and currently operating from its transit campus at Government Polytechnic, the institute offers a vibrant ecosystem for design education.
