Admission: The teachers at our college are really smart. They have Master's and PG degrees. Sometimes, even former students come to teach us. If needed, we also have guest teachers. In class, they give us little exercises to do. It helps us understand the concepts better.
Placement: Placements happen in the 8th semester after our graduation project. The project lasts 4-5 months and gives us real-world experience. We can apply to different companies in fields like art direction, set designing, and advertising. Along with our main subjects like photography and graphic designing. After the project, we can either go for on-campus placements or apply off-campus. Sometimes, we even get job offers during the project. We have a centralized placement process where we visit different Nift campuses like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Salaries range from 3-4 lakhs per year to even 12 lakhs per year. Companies like Arvind, Raymond's, and Chumbak have come to recruit from our college.
Campus: The library in our college has tons of books on fabrics, illustrations, communication, and management. Wi-Fi works in the campus and hostel all the time. Classrooms have projectors and speakers. There's an activity hall for sports like table tennis, badminton, and dancing, plus a basketball and volleyball court. Food in the canteen is okay. Hostel rooms are comfy with a B.Ed cupboard, table, and chair. My only issue was not finding enough books on fashion communication.

Admission: The faculty at NIFT, Bhubaneswar is top-notch. They're all NIFT alumni and have PhDs. They're super experienced and really help us out with everything, from clearing doubts to landing good jobs.
Placement: The job placements are really good here and they keep getting better each year. Almost everyone finds a job after graduation. The average salary offered is around 4.5 LPA. Companies like Raymond come to hire students. More students are getting placed each year, and there are more companies coming for placements too.
Campus: NIFT Bhubaneswar has awesome infrastructure. The classrooms are cool with AC and lots of benches. They've got a MAC lab with 45 Apple computers, plus other labs like design and pattern making. It's pretty cool!

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good. They know their stuff and teach in a modern way. There are about 6 to 7 teachers for each subject. NIFT is amazing because it's ranked 8th in the world for fashion.
Placement: When I was about to finish college, I found out about the graduation programme happening in the last semester, which is the 8th one. If you do well in this programme, you might even get a job in the same company. Placement happens at big places like NIFT Delhi and NIFT Mumbai. They don't just look at your marks but also at the work you've done in the 4 years. Our college focuses on Visual Merchandise, Photography, Graphics Design, Styling, Fashion Journalism, and more. You can choose what you're interested in and find a company that suits you.
Campus: NIFT Bhubaneswar is a pretty new campus, so everything here is top-notch with lots of facilities. They don't have places for games like cricket or football, but you can play basketball, badminton, and more. You'll find a gym, a canteen, a cafe, and pretty much everything else you need right on campus.

Admission: The tech department faculty is amazing! They're super friendly and really good at teaching. They make sure we get the basics. Some guest faculty teach too, and they're great too. So glad I'm learning from them!
Placement: The 2018 batch from NIFT Bhubaneswar was the first to graduate from the B.FTech course. Everyone got jobs, both in India and abroad. Some even scored internships in Bangladesh! Some companies pay stipends, others don't. But it's cool to do unpaid internships if they're short.
Campus: Our college isn't huge because it's part of KIIT campus, but our department has everything we need. Since it's not too big, everyone in each year knows each other. The campus is bigger than some other NIFT campuses, which is cool.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. They have worked in top companies and know their stuff. They have a lot of experience and good connections. The course is okay, but could use some updates. During exams, they ask us about our designs and the product data.
Placement: Most students in our college got placed, around 80%. The placements are based on how much companies pay. The highest salary offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Everyone lands internships here. I'm currently working as a designer for export houses and accessories brands. My job involves creating designs for new products that eventually get made.
Campus: The teachers at this college are really helpful. They do their best to guide you. If you stay in touch with them and follow their advice, you'll have good job opportunities after you graduate. We only have a girls' hostel here, along with classrooms. The canteen is okay, nothing special. And if you ever need medical help, we have facilities on campus.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and help us get ready for the real world. Exams can be tough, but they're also kind of exciting. Most people pass though, around 65%. The teachers are smart and the admin folks are helpful. Plus, they teach in a cool way and use all the latest tech.
Placement: The college is great for placements with big companies like Aditya Birla and Raymond. Lots of students (about 80%) get jobs as designers. The highest pay is 4 LPA and the lowest is around 1-2 LPA. Fashion design is popular here. You can get jobs as a trend analyst, researcher, designer, quality checker, pattern maker, or sprint creator.
Campus: The campus has safe hostels for girls with a nice canteen. The labs and classrooms are good quality. They don't have a great library or Wi-Fi. The food is okay, and the sports facilities are good. The textile designing department is more serious, but the others are fun and colorful to check out.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and always there to guide you. They really push you to learn and stay motivated. They don't just teach theory, but also share their industry experiences to give you a deeper understanding. Throughout the 8 semesters of B. Des, the learning level keeps getting better and better. The semester exams (jury) aren't too tough because the teachers help us correct our mistakes and improve. They make sure we're ready for the industry when we graduate.
Placement: Most students get placed, with many going for PPOs. Some choose higher studies, while others start their own businesses. Salaries range from 6-7 lakh to 16-20 lakh per year. Fashion and textile companies come to campus for placements. Students are selected based on their marks. Companies like Vardaman, Arvind, and Aditya Birla offer placements. Almost everyone gets an internship as it's part of the curriculum. The placement cell and faculty are always there to support students.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere, even in the hostel. The labs are well-equipped with tools and machines. The library has all the resources, plenty of computers, and access to official sites. There are printing and xerox machines for students to use. NIFT provides a gym and medical facilities for students. We also get a medical insurance card worth up to 10 lakh per semester. Each class has AC, nice tables and chairs, and all the necessary equipment. The food in the mess is good too.

Admission: The exams here are mostly hands-on or oral (like a discussion). Your grades depend on what you do. There aren't many theoretical subjects. Each semester, there are three parts to the exams: a 30-mark assignment, another 30-mark assignment, and finally, a viva at the end.
Placement: I love where our campus is located. We get visits from lots of clothing companies for job placements. They usually offer at least 5 lakhs as starting pay. Iâ¢m studying Bachelor of Fashion Technology, but thereâ¢s also a Bachelor of Design program available. Lots of choices for courses here!
Campus: The campus has unique labs you won't find elsewhere. The facilities are awesome every room has AC. The library is huge. The professors are super nice and teach in a fun way. They cover all the latest subjects needed for the industry.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. They know their stuff and have worked in the industry. The classes aren't too crowded, so you can really learn. They let us be creative and learn about design in a cool way. The lessons are well-organized and help us understand how design works. I got to see how things work in the real world, which was awesome!
Placement: The placements for us and our seniors were pretty good. The average salary offered was around 4.5 LPA. Students got roles like designers, merchandisers, graphic designers, photographers, stylists, and more. The campus had companies like CuroCarte, Rohit Bal, Archana Kochhar, Manish Malhotra, Royal Enfield, Nappa Dori, Michel Aram, Zarine Jewellers, and more. About 70% of students got placed, and everyone got internships with a 10000 stipend.
Campus: The college has awesome facilities like clean classrooms, hostels, labs, canteens, and good Wi-Fi. The food in the canteen is fresh and tasty, with a big cafeteria. They have cool extracurricular activities like arts, culture, literature, and sports clubs. And there are plenty of grounds and courts for sports.

Admission: The teachers here are super nice and know their stuff to get us ready for what's ahead. We have hands-on classes every day. They're always there to help us out whenever we need it. We get assignments to show what we've learned.
Placement: NIFT Bhubaneswar is great for placements. Last year, they had on-campus placements with salaries around 30 Lacs per year. Companies like Tanishq and Titan hire from here. We start internships in the 3rd year. They also take us on industry visits for more experience and better job opportunities.
Campus: The college was set up in 2010, so the buildings are not brand new. The girls' hostel is on campus, which is convenient. The food in the canteen could be better. But it's a good place to study overall. The libraries and labs are in good shape, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean.
