Admission: The teachers in the Fashion Design department are really good. There are only three teachers and one assistant right now. They're all friendly and teach in a way that makes us think and be creative. Each batch has around 30-35 students. We get to visit different places like Tiruppur, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Wayanad for Industry visits every year. It helps us learn more about the processes. The course curriculum is great. We even have subjects like Research Methods and Manufacturing Process to learn more about research and production.

Placement: The job placement rate was awesome when I graduated everyone got a job! The starting salary was around 60,000/-. They also let us go to interviews at different NIFT centers, which was cool. In the fashion design program, not many companies give stipends. It's up to them. We had to do an internship for eight weeks in June and July after finishing the sixth semester.

Campus: The Wi-Fi on campus works best near the Resource Centre and computer labs. Each department has their own labs like PM, GC, and CAD. There are extra labs too, like photography and weaving. The library has lots of books for research and the computers can access the WGSN website. You can find magazines, newspapers, and Promostyle in the RC. The auditorium has A/C and the girls' hostel is on campus. The computer labs have A/C and the classrooms fit over 50 students. The canteen doesn't have a big variety, but people love the Maggie and Kubboos-chicken. Hostel rooms are spacious with 3 students per room. Each room has fans, lights, tables, chairs, cots, cupboards, and a mirror. The halls and bathrooms are cleaned daily. Besides the mess and Wi-Fi, there's a washing machine (one is working) on the terrace for hostel students. Overall, I haven't had any issues with the college's infrastructure.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They teach us in a friendly way and help us understand both theory and practical stuff. We get to practice a lot and do presentations too. The curriculum is really good for getting us ready for the industry. The college has all the facilities we need. Our semester exams are mostly presented to a jury. We have to show our work to them and also take theory exams. You need to get at least 14 marks out of 40 to pass the jury part, with an overall pass percentage of 50%.

Placement: Most students get placed, which is great. I'm not sure about the average salary, but there are lots of design companies that come for placements. Nike and Lifestyle are a couple of them. Every student has to do an internship, which is cool. You can get roles like designer, graphic designer, stylist, and more.

Campus: We have Wi-Fi everywhere on campus, even in the hostel and labs for each department. The lab facilities for knitwear are awesome, with labs for making patterns, knitting by hand, and constructing garments. The machines in the lab are top-notch. The food in the mess is great, catering to both North and South Indian tastes. Plus, we've got basketball and volleyball courts. A doctor is available on Wednesdays, and there are tons of clubs to join. All in all, the facilities are really good here.

Admission: I love the teachers here! They really know their stuff and are always ready to help. The way they teach is top-notch. The course content is spot on, preparing us well for the job market. The exams are fair, not too hard. And hey, who doesn't love a 100% pass rate? Overall, I feel like I'm in good hands here.

Placement: In our course, around 70% of students got jobs. The highest salary was Rs. 50,000 per month, while the lowest was Rs. 30,000. On average, students got Rs. 40,000 per month. Companies like Gucci and D&G hired a lot of us. Almost 90% of students landed internships at Gucci. The popular roles were senior fashion designer and junior fashion designer.

Campus: The college has Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The hostel facilities are good, with nice food in the mess and canteen. They also have good medical services and sports facilities. It's a decent place to study and live.

Admission: The faculty in my department were awesome. They always had our backs and helped us improve. They were really supportive in both academics and other activities. We could easily ask them for help whenever we needed. Even the department assistants were super friendly and fun to be around.

Placement: The placements at NIFT can be a bit tricky. There are many companies that come for placements, and the order of placements matters a lot. Students get sent to cities like Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Some students end up landing really well-paying jobs, which is pretty cool.

Campus: The hostel situation is great. Girls have 2 hostels to choose from, one inside the campus and one right outside. They offer both AC and non-AC rooms, plus free gym access with a trainer. The food is mostly North Indian. The campus itself is awesome. It's all in one big round structure with 7 floors and a cool terrace that gives a nice view. They even have gardens on the 8th and 1st floors. What's really cool is that you can see the whole college from any floor. There's also an amphitheater and a fully air-conditioned auditorium on campus.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. They stick to the curriculum but also take us on trips to different companies. We learn a lot of theory, and internships help us get practical experience. The exams are tough but fair since they're judged by a jury.

Placement: Placement this year was pretty good, around 60% to 70%. The highest package was about 9 LPA. Trident, Raymond, and Arvind are the top recruiters. Almost all students get internships with these companies. And about 70% to 80% of students get internships in other apparel companies too. The roles offered are cool - like merchandiser, production manager, and IE executive.

Campus: The campus has everything you need: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, garment construction room, and a pattern-making lab. The hostel is great for girls, but guys gotta find a PG nearby. The food at the hostel is top-notch. Plus, there's medical help and fun games like basketball and snooker available.

Admission: The teachers at NIFT are awesome - they know their stuff and are super helpful. A lot of them actually graduated from NIFT, so they really understand the industry. They teach really well, and some of them are just really cool. The courses are spot-on for getting us ready for the real world. At NIFT, we have juries for most subjects. They can be tough, but as long as you're prepared, you'll be good.

Placement: I haven't finished the course yet, but I've heard from older students and alumni that the placements here are really good. They say if you put in the effort, do well in your grades, and prepare properly, you'll land a good job. The faculty mentioned the same thing during orientation it's all up to you.

Campus: The college is pretty good but there's room for improvement. They're already working on making things better for next year. The auditorium and hostel rooms could use some upgrades, but the classrooms and other facilities are fine. I'm hopeful that everything will be even nicer next year.

Admission: The teachers really know their stuff and have worked at big companies. The course used to be good, but now they've updated it with cool new stuff like theater, nature walks, photography, and dance. It helps us get ready for jobs.

Placement: Around 70% of students from all departments get job placements. I'm not sure about the salary packages, but the companies that recruit here depend on how many students apply. Most of the companies are big ones or design-related. The main roles they offer are head designer, assistant designer, print developer, and textile head designer. Almost 90% of students get internships in these kinds of companies, but it all depends on how many students apply.

Campus: The college has a lot of different rooms and labs. They've got everything from classrooms to computer labs to an auditorium. The facilities are pretty good, and the Wi-Fi works well. The food in the cafeteria is decent too. Overall, it's a nice place with all the things you need for studying.

Admission: I love how we have lots of hands-on classes here, it's super fun. The teachers are great at explaining things, and everyone pays attention in class. We have three jury exams: midterm, end term, and final.

Placement: NIFT gives good placements, they've done it before too. At Nift Kannur, some students get placed but not everyone. We get to work with designers, which is cool. You can check out the companies and job opportunities at Nift Kannur.

Campus: The campus has really good Wi-Fi coverage, and the facilities are top-notch. Unfortunately, there are no hostels for the guys. The classrooms and campus are always clean, and there's a great resource center with lots of books. The campus itself has a cool design that stands out from the rest.

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced, with over 10 years of experience. They teach really well. I learned a lot about apparel production, and it made me feel ready for the industry when I joined NIFT. There are some exams and juries, but they're not too hard if you pay attention in class and understand the concepts.

Placement: Most students here end up getting jobs in fashion. The pay ranges from 7 LPA to 80 LPA for B.FTech. Big companies like Puma, Myntra, and Raymond hire a lot of us. Everyone does internships at places like Vardhman Textile and Levis. After graduation, we land jobs like HR Manager, Buyer, and Senior Executive.

Campus: The classrooms here have all the machines needed for making clothes. Only the girls' hostel is here, but it's really good. It has everything you need. The food is great too, with lots of Indian options from all over the country. And the facilities are top-notch.

Admission: I've always stayed in touch with my teachers in class and even on social media like Facebook and WhatsApp. They made learning easy and interesting. There were around 100 students for every 20 teachers. Being located in an industrial area, I got to visit places like CCRI, chiral weaving industry, Kerala handloom, and other textile processing units. It was a cool experience that helped me understand industrial processes better. The curriculum really prepared me well.

Placement: The job placements were good and matched with what we learned in our courses. About 75% of students got placed, but some turned down offers because the pay was low. The highest salary offered was around 6-7 lakhs per year, while the lowest was 2 lakhs. On average, students were offered 3-4 lakhs per year. Companies like Raymond, Reliance, and Fab India, as well as some startups, came for recruitment. They offered roles like print designer, handloom designer, and textile explorer. Many students got internships through the college, thanks to our knowledgeable RIC team. The internships paid around 4-5k per month on average, but some were unpaid.

Campus: I found that most things I needed were easy to find and available when I needed them. The campus had free Wi-Fi everywhere, which was great. It was available until 6 pm, which was enough time for me. Sometimes, though, I had trouble getting into the computer labs or CAD labs because of other students' behavior.
