Admission: The courses are okay, but sometimes it's hard to talk to teachers from South India because of language differences. Overall, the teaching is good and everyone is friendly. The exams are a bit tricky, and the format can be tough to figure out.

Placement: The placements here are okay. The top placement is 16 LPA by Trident, and the lowest is 5 LPA by Vedant. Trident, Reliance, and Vardhaman are some good companies that come for recruitment. There are also chances in the IT sector. Your placement depends on how well you do academically. If you have good grades, you have more opportunities. On average, around 70 to 80% of students get placed.

Campus: The campus has good infrastructure with nice classrooms and buildings. Sports facilities are just okay, though. The canteens are good and the campus environment is nice. It's all green and really beautiful here.

Admission: Passing a subject each semester isn't too hard. You just need 40 out of 100 overall, with at least 15 marks in the end-semester exam. The course difficulty really comes down to the professor, so make sure to stay prepared. And don't forget about the FE subject!

Placement: I was really happy with how many of us got placed in good companies. Around 70% of our batch found jobs. The college helped a lot by inviting different companies for placements. They matched well with what we were studying. The highest salary offered was 12 LPA, the average was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Big companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) came to hire from our course.

Campus: The course facilities and hostel are great. They have cool stuff like projectors and smart boards. The Wi-Fi is super fast and works everywhere on campus. They've got a big ground for cricket and football, plus a nice court for other sports. It's awesome!

Admission: The teachers here are super smart, but they can be strict sometimes. They give us challenging assignments and expect us to work hard. It can be tough in some classes, but if you pay attention and take notes, it starts to make sense. They want us to do our best, which is cool. Just be prepared for surprise quizzes now and then!

Placement: The job placements for textile students are pretty good. Some students land jobs in textile companies, while others go into IT or management. It's not a piece of cake, but if you put in the effort and take advantage of opportunities, you can succeed. The salary packages differ, but there are some good companies that come for recruitment on campus.

Campus: The hostels here are decent. The rooms are spacious, and we've got Wi-Fi. There are common areas to hang out with friends. The food in the mess isn't amazing, but you won't go hungry. If something breaks, maintenance will come to fix it. There are sports and other activities near the hostel. It starts feeling like a second home once you settle in.

Admission: The teachers here are really different from what you find at private colleges. They're super supportive and always ready to help out. They're not just about academics, they're approachable and you won't feel weird asking them questions. They're updating the courses too, and they've even added a design thinking class in the first year for some majors.

Placement: The mechanical department guarantees 100% placements, but the salary packages are a bit lower than expected. This year, the top salary offered was 17LPA, with an average of 9 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Reliance, Wipro, and Infosys came for placements this year.

Campus: The college buildings are pretty old, but they're fixing them up nicely. Wi-Fi works well all over campus, which is great. The campus dispensary stays open till 8 PM, and there's always an ambulance on standby for emergencies.

Admission: The teachers here are really smart and take their job seriously. They can be strict and like to keep us in line with tough assignments and surprise quizzes. But if you pay attention and do your work, things aren't too bad. Some teachers explain things really well, and they're always there to help if you're confused. Even though the work can be tough, they're getting us ready for what's ahead.

Placement: The textile department's placements are pretty good, but it all comes down to how hard you work. Some students land jobs in textile companies, while others explore IT, business, or different areas. Not a lot of textile companies come for placements, so you have to search for chances on your own. If you study hard and pick up extra skills, you can land a solid job. Some years might have better placements than others, but overall, most students end up doing fine!

Campus: Living in the hostel is great. The rooms are big and there's Wi-Fi for studying or hanging out. There are common areas for playing games and chilling with friends. The food in the mess isn't amazing, but you can always find something to eat. If something breaks, they fix it quickly. After a while, the hostel feels like a second home with lots of fun and memories.

Admission: The teachers at this college are a mix - some are really good, and some are not so great. They all know their stuff and teach well. The course content could be better though, it's not very practical for getting a job. The exams are okay, not too hard. Most students pass, about 88% make it through.

Placement: I'm studying VLSI at NIT Jalandhar, and it's a great course. The highest salary offered is 52 LPA, while the lowest is 4.3 LPA for ECE students. Big companies like Nvidia come for placements. Around 63% of us got internships. The main job roles are chip design engineers. It's a solid choice if you're into this field.

Campus: The college facilities are pretty good overall. The Wi-Fi is a bit slow, and sometimes there are network problems. The library and classrooms are nice. The hostel is good too. The food is better than other colleges. Sports and game facilities are good, but the gym is really small.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and if you're serious about your work, they let you assist them. They're really smart and have a lot of experience. The courses they offer are up-to-date with what companies need, and the exams aren't too hard. Most students like over 75% pass without too much trouble.

Placement: Most students here get jobs every year, especially in energy companies like HPCL and BPCL. Some also land jobs in private firms like Reliance Petroleum and EIL. A few end up in teaching companies like Google and Microsoft. The placements cover a wide range of fields, so everyone can find a job they like.

Campus: The college has really new buildings and students can use everything all day long. The labs, classrooms, and libraries have Wi-Fi and AC. The hostels are okay, a bit cramped, but the food is tasty. Medical help is free, and there are ambulances too. There's a sports ground with lights for playing at night.

Admission: I really like the Civil Engineering Department at NIT Jalandhar. The teachers know a lot about things like buildings, the environment, soil, and transportation. They all have fancy degrees from good schools and work on cool projects. The exams are not too easy or too hard, just right.

Placement: Our batch is the 2024 one and we'll graduate in 2028. Companies such as Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Shapoorji Pallonji, and Hindustan Construction Company come to our campus a lot for internships. These internships are tough to get but give us a chance to work on real projects.

Campus: The hostels have fast Wi-Fi, so you can easily browse the internet. They always have clean water available and the electricity never goes out. The shared washrooms are kept clean, and there are common rooms with TVs and games for chilling out.

Admission: The exam system in our B.Tech program is based on quarters, with 8 semesters in total. We have mid-term exams for 20 marks, half-yearly exams for 70 marks, and class tests for 10 marks. I really like the exam system here. The exam center located in our classroom is also great.

Placement: The placements are okay. The best offer was 16 LPA from Trident, while the lowest was 5 LPA from Vedant. Companies like Trident, Reliance, and Vardhaman are good options, especially for core roles. There are also chances in the IT field. Your placement really comes down to how well you do academically. Most students get placed at a rate of 70-80%.

Campus: The hostel has Wi-Fi, drinking water, fans, and beds. Our college has air-conditioned classrooms and a library where we can borrow books. The food in the mess is okay, and we have 3 canteens with good fast food. We can play volleyball, football, and cricket on the small ground. Only one sport can be played at a time. There's also a badminton court, table tennis, and music facilities available.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful. They really know their stuff. They're always there to assist students when we need it. The curriculum is up-to-date with the latest technology, getting us ready for the real world. The exams aren't a piece of cake, so cramming won't cut it. You gotta study consistently to do well and get a decent CGPA. In my program, most students pass with around a 76% success rate.

Placement: The placements at NITJ's ICE branch are really good. Around three-fourths of students in our branch got placed. Last year, the highest salary was 26 LPA, average was 11 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Companies like BPCL, Adani Group, Accolite Digital, and Texas Instruments hire from our branch. Getting internships depends on how much effort you put in, and about half of the students get the chance. The popular roles are instrumentation engineer, automation engineer, control system engineer, and process control engineer.

Campus: The campus here is awesome! Most of the buildings are brand new and everything looks super clean. The rooms are really nice and the whole place has Wi-Fi coverage. The classrooms have projectors and smart boards, which is cool. They even have a big library. The food at the mess tastes just like home-cooked meals. Students get to pick the menu. And there's a night canteen for meals and snacks at a good price. Plus, there's a medical center for any health issues. And the sports facilities are top-notch!
