Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. They're always there for us, whether we have questions about our classes or anything else. The teaching is good, but sometimes it feels a bit hard to understand. The course covers important topics like electrical machines, power systems, and electronics, which is great. They work with industries to make sure we're learning what we need for the real world. The mid-term exams are tougher than the finals, but there's no fixed passing score. We just need to pass each subject.
Placement: The electrical department in 2024 had a really high placement rate of almost 93%. The top companies that hired students were Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Infosys, and Tata Steel. The highest salary offered was 82 LPA, while the average was around 15 LPA. Most students also got internships, with companies like Alstom, Tata Motors, Tata Cummins, KPMG, and Adobe. They got roles like Software Development Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Data Analyst, and Project Engineer.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere, even in classrooms, the library, and labs. There are cool labs for different subjects like Power Electronics and Microprocessors. The classrooms have AC, smart projectors, and working Wi-Fi. The library has a quiet reading area, lots of books, and even a book bank. The first-year hostel has a night canteen and sports area with volleyball and badminton courts. The food in the mess is pretty good, and there's always medical help available.

Admission: The teachers here are top-notch. They are all Ph.D. holders and many came from IITs. Their research experience really helps us understand things better. The exams are tough, but most students pass. If you don't do well, you might end up with a backlog. The curriculum is practical and makes sense.
Placement: The placement scene at our college is top-notch! Almost all students in every branch land a job around 90%. The average package for all branches is over 8 LPA, with the highest package hitting a whopping 1.23 crore. Companies like Tata Group, Atlassian, and Adobe recruit from our college, which is pretty awesome.
Campus: The lecture halls at our college are awesome! They're new and decked out with lots of cool electrical stuff and each room has a smartboard. Plus, they're all air-conditioned. The classes are huge and spread out over 3 floors. The hostels could be better, but they're not bad. There are 7 boys' hostels and 3 girls' hostels. The older ones from the 1960s aren't the best, but they're well-kept. We've got good water and the food in the mess is decent.

The course content is up-to-date and matches what's happening in the real world. It gets you ready for your future job. The exams are a good mix of theory and hands-on skills, so they're not too easy but not impossible either.
Placement: Most students got jobs after college, which is great. The average salary is around 12 LPA, with the lowest being 4.2 LPA. Big companies like Amazon and Google hire students. But it's hard for MCA students to find internships. Jobs offered are mainly in Software Development and Data Analysis.

Admission: The teachers at our college all have Ph.Ds from good colleges like IIT and NITs. The semester exam isn't too hard if you study a bit each day. It's cool because if you get a grade above 'P', you pass; but if it's 'F', you fail. It's a good system.
Placement: Almost everyone in my branch gets a job after college like over 90%! The top salary is 18 LPA, and most people make around 7 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA. In CSE, the highest package is 80 LPA, and the average is 25 LPA. CSE students have a super high placement rate over 95% of them land jobs.
Campus: The new academic building is awesome. Every classroom has AC, which is great. Hostel facilities are good, but the food in the mess is just okay. The whole campus and hostel have Wi-Fi, and it's unlimited. So convenient!

Admission: The teachers and staff at NIT JSR are super helpful, which is awesome. But gotta be real, the curriculum here is known to be the toughest out of all NITs. It's definitely a challenge to get a 9 CGPA/SGPA without putting in some serious study time. But hey, it's worth it because CGPA matters a lot when it comes to getting placements. Oh, and just so you know, the pass rate at the college is around 96%.
Placement: NIT Jamshedpur is awesome for placements. They promise 100% placement, but it depends on how well you do in your program. Big companies like L&T Construction, TATA, ACC, BMW, Ford, and Maruti Suzuki hire from here. The highest package for Mechanical Engineering is 18 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA.
Campus: The hostels are great for seniors. As a freshman, you might end up in Hostel I, which is pretty old, but it has Wi-Fi and a lawn in every room. All hostels have mess facilities. There are plenty of hostels for all the students. Each department has its own labs, and the LHC is a cool spot that you'll go to often.

Placement: The Mechanical Engineering program at NIT Jamshedpur is top-notch. They have a great placement record with everyone getting a job and some even scoring a high package of 21 LPA. The average salary offered is around 9 LPA. Big companies like Tata Steel and JSW Steel come for placements and internships. It's a solid choice if you're into mechanical stuff!
Campus: I love my university! The academic buildings, library, and labs are in top shape. But the hostels could use some work. They're getting better, but still not the best. The food in the mess definitely needs an upgrade though.

Admission: The teachers here are super knowledgeable and supportive. They teach really well and make sure we understand everything. We need to do some extra studying to be ready for the industry. The semester exams are not too hard. My friends and I usually start studying about a week before the exams.
Placement: Almost all the mechanical students got placed last year, around 95%. The highest salary offered is 22 LPA, while the lowest is 7 LPA. On average, students get 10.4 LPA here. Out of 106 students, 25 did internships. Popular roles are product manager, and others.
Campus: I go to a college that started back in 1960. Our campus is huge, with around 300 acres of land. The buildings and facilities are in good shape. The hostels and lecture halls are nice and well taken care of. Sometimes we have problems with the Wi-Fi in the hostels, but it's gotten better after we complained a lot. The food at the mess is actually pretty good now.
