  • NTA has confirmed that JEE Main 2026 Session 2 will be held from April 2 to April 9, 2026. The registration for Session 2 will open after the completion of Session 1 results on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
1 Nov, 2025 : NTA JEE Main 2026 Registration has started. The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the registration process on October 31, 2025, through the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.
1 Nov, 2025 : NTA has opened the portal for JEE Main 2026 registration on its official Website. The applications can be submitted till 27 November 2025 for session 1. The JEE Main exam session 1 will be scheduled to be conducted between 21-30 January 2026. Read more about JEE Main 2026

NIT Delhi Scholarship: Popular Scholarships Offered

  • ISHAN UDAY – Special Scholarship Scheme for North Eastern Region: Provided by UGC and MHRD for students from the North Eastern region.
  • Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities: Offered by State Governments/UTs for minority students who have completed matriculation.
  • Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical Courses (CS): For financially challenged, meritorious students from minority communities.
  • Pre-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities: Offered by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for pre-matric students with disabilities.
  • Top Class Education Scheme for SC Students: Aims to support SC students pursuing post-matric education.
  • Scholarship under Cine Workers Welfare Fund: For children of cine workers studying at NIT Delhi.
  • Financial Assistance for Education & Skill Development (ITI): Monetary support for education and vocational skills.

NIT Delhi Scholarship: Application Process

  • Check Eligibility: Explore the eligibility of various scholarships in NIT Delhi. Among them are the government scholarships such as Ishan Uday, Merit-cum-Means, post-matric scholarships and the 2009 special schemes to the reserved categories and differently-abled students.
  • Apply via Official Portals: The majority of the scholarships are to be applied online via official portals, either NIT Delhi scholarship cell portal or government scholarship portals (including National Scholarship Portal (NSP)).
  • Register/Log In: complete the account/ register on the respective scholarship portal.
  • Fill Application Form: In the online application form, all the personal, academic and financial information must be filled attentively.
  • Upload Documents: upload scanned documents of the required documents in the outlined format.
  • Apply: Get the application and complete it and submit it ahead of time.
  • Verification and Approval: NIT Delhi scholarship cell or the concerned government agency will verify the application and supporting documents.
  • Scholarship Award: Successful verification entitles are credited with such scholarship amounts as tuition fee waivers or monthly stipends which is deposited straight into the bank account of the student.
