National Power Training Institute

Admission: Studying MBA at NPTI covers all the usual MBA stuff like marketing, finance, and HR. But we also dive into power subjects like electricity regulation and renewable energy. Each subject has its own expert teacher, which is cool. We get guest teachers from the power sector pretty often, like every week. They keep us in the loop about what's happening in the industry. Every year, we visit Rajghat Power Plant to learn how thermal power plants work. It's super interesting. We also go to conferences on renewable energy, coal, and smart grids. It's a great hands-on experience!

Placement: The MBA in Power Management focuses on the electricity sector in India and abroad. Companies that work in this sector come to our campus to hire students, instead of going to regular MBA colleges. Back in 2013-14, placements were a bit shaky. About 80% of students landed jobs. Some big names like PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, Tata Power, TCS, and others hired students for different roles. Everyone got an internship, which was cool. The highest stipend was Rs. 8,000, while some didn't get paid at all.

Campus: NPTI, which is part of the Ministry of Power, has all the facilities an MBA student needs. The hostels have Wi-Fi and there's a separate IT lab where we can keep up with what's happening. Each room is for two people and has its own bathroom. We students manage our own mess with a few helpers. We all pitch in to decide what to eat. A group of us forms a mess committee to make sure the food is good and the place is clean. There's a clinic on campus that's open 24/7 for any medical needs.

Admission: The teachers know their stuff and the topics we study are spot-on for the power industry. Exams are okay, not too hard, and everyone passes. Guest speakers are cool, but we could use more hands-on learning for power stuff. The syllabus sets us up for real-world jobs if we put in the effort.

Placement: I'm part of the 18th MBA batch, and everyone has landed a job so far. The pay ranges from 7.5 to 19.5 LPA, which is pretty good. Companies like Adani Power and GMR have hired students. Out of 37 students in my batch, only 4 are still waiting for internship offers, which they'll likely get soon. Lots of companies visit for placements and internships, so it's a good scene overall.

Campus: The campus and hostel are clean, but the hostel doesn't have Wi-Fi. The food in the mess is vegetarian, but it's not that great. There's a doctor on campus all the time. They have sports courts and a gym. The library is awesome with lots of good books.

Admission: The professors really know their stuff when it comes to the course. It's all about the power sector and they cover lots of different areas within it. They touch on general MS too, but the main focus is definitely on power.

Placement: The college has great placement opportunities with top power companies and consulting firms. Big names like Tata, Jindal, and Torrent always visit the campus. Consulting firms like PWC, Deloitte, and ABPS also come for recruitment. It's a good chance for students to land great job offers.

Campus: The college has awesome infrastructure with nice classrooms, a good hostel, and a cool conference hall. The campus is so green and has lots of indoor games, a gym, and everything you need. They even have medical facilities on campus.

Admission: The course curriculum is really good. It has a lot of workshops and seminars with government officials. This helps us to meet industry leaders and learn from them. The course is all about getting us ready for the industry and applying what we learn in real life.

Placement: The college has awesome placements in top companies in the Power Sector. Students from earlier batches got placed 100%. They landed roles like management trainee, consultant, and associate consultant. The highest package for my batch (2023-25) was 19.5 LPA, and the average was 12-13 LPA. It's great to see everyone getting good opportunities!

Campus: The campus here has awesome infrastructure and facilities. They've got modern digital classrooms and labs. Plus, there's loads of sports facilities and even a gym on campus. The hostel is great too, with Wi-Fi, common areas, and a cafeteria. Love it here!

Placement: NPTI guarantees job placements for all students. The highest salary offered is 19.5 LPA, while the average is 13.5 LPA. Big companies like the Big 4 hire from here. Many students get internships in top power sector companies for roles like consulting, operations, and management.

Campus: The classrooms at NPTI are top-notch with all the equipment we need. The library is great for power sector resources. And we've got Wi-Fi everywhere. The simulators one's 500MW and the other's 800MW are super helpful for hands-on learning. Living in the hostel is cool. The rooms are big, Wi-Fi's good, and there's a gym. Plus, we've got sports facilities indoors and outdoors. The mess food is decent. And if you need it, basic medical help is there too. Overall, it's a good setup for students.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really good. They have a mix of regular and guest teachers, some from top colleges like IITs & IIMs. The curriculum is well-planned, covering everything about power business and energy markets. Our semester exams are held at JCBUST and YMCA, and they are challenging but fair.

Placement: The job placement for NPTI Faridabad Power MBA is great everyone gets placed. In 2025, the highest salary offered was 19.5 lakhs per year. On average, students get 12 lakhs, while the lowest is 7.5 lakhs. Companies like E&Y, Sunsure, ABPS, and others hire students here. NPTI also helps students find internships.

Campus: The campus has really fast Wi-Fi, but sadly it's not available in the hostel. The classrooms are cool with projectors, sound systems, and old-school marker boards. The library is just okay, and the food is average. The rooms are nice and come with a geyser. They even offer room cleaning services. Plus, there's a badminton court, volleyball court, gym, and an auditorium for some fun activities.

Admission: The teachers at this college really know their stuff, especially in the power sector. They use a presentation-based teaching method that makes things easy to understand. The student to teacher ratio was 60:1, which was okay. We got to visit a bunch of different power plants, which was super interesting. The alumni network is strong, so finding a job after graduation was pretty smooth. It was cool to have alumni come back and share their industry experiences with us on campus.

Placement: The placement scene is pretty good here. Almost all seniors got placed. Right now, half the batch is already placed. Deloitte offered the highest salary at 14 LPA. The lowest was 5 LPA, and the average was 6.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, TPDDL, ABPS Infra, Enincon, came for recruitment. The top roles were in regulatory and business development. Everyone landed an internship from college. Stipends ranged from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month. The college placement cell worked really well.

Campus: The college has lots of stuff for students. They got Wi-Fi, labs, library, medical help, sports, and games. But no canteen on campus. The labs are top-notch though. The classrooms are a bit small since it's a government college. MBA peeps have their own mess with yummy food run by students. Hostel rooms are okay, and they have Wi-Fi there too.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really helpful and understanding. They're always ready to help us out, even after class. They know their stuff and are super nice. It's great for us students to have such supportive faculty!

Placement: The college has really good placements that keep getting better each year. Students and teachers are working hard to bring more companies for placements. The average package is around 3 to 4 Lacs. The college also has special programs to help motivate students to get placements.

Campus: The campus at this national institute for power management is top-notch. The classrooms are modern with the latest tech, and there's plenty of parking for both bikes and cars. Plus, they have separate computer labs which is great!
