Admission: The teachers here are pretty good overall. Some are better than others, but that's normal. They teach well and focus a lot on research, which is cool. The exams are not too hard, as long as you study a bit and go to class. You can pass easily if you do that. Normally, you need 30 points to pass, but sometimes the professors might change that.
Placement: After finishing the course, students usually go for PhD or try competitive exams. You gotta find jobs or PhD on your own 'cause the college doesn't have direct placements. For internships, you gotta apply yourself and find opportunities in institutes or companies, even abroad. Top roles like JRF, SRF, and PhD Fellow are what most people aim for.
Campus: The college has good facilities overall, but not as great as top institutes like IITs. The library stands out as the best part. Hostel is decent, just needs better maintenance. Food is okay, not the best. Medical services are good. Sports facilities are average, but getting better.

Admission: The teachers at this college are strict, but they're really smart and nice to students. They all have Ph.D.s and know their stuff well. The courses are practical, and it's not hard to pass.
Placement: The placement opportunities at this college are top-notch, but there's a catch you need to score at least 50% in your final exam to be eligible. The salary offered varies between 2 to 5 LPA, but unfortunately, most companies don't provide job roles to students.
Campus: The hostels here are really good, just like the facilities in the college buildings. We've got nice classrooms, dorm rooms, bathrooms, labs, fast Wi-Fi, elevators, and more. Plus, there are sports and game facilities that we can use every year.

Admission: The teachers at our college are mostly researchers and really well-known. They've aced exams like GATE with top ranks, like AIR 1. Exams can be easy or tough depending on the subject, but some have relative grading. You need at least 30% to pass, and if your CGPA is below 6.5, you won't get a scholarship.
Placement: After completing this course, many students go on to pursue a Ph.D. Some even receive Ph.D. offers from top institutes worldwide. What's cool is that we can land a scientist job at BARC through direct interviews, no exams required. Just a heads up, there isn't a dedicated placement cell here.
Campus: The college has AC everywhere except in the hostel. There's no curfew, which is great. They've got 4 canteens open, including a night one. You can play basketball, football, cricket, table tennis, and more. Plus, there's a gaming club for BGMI tournaments. And for medical stuff, CHSS is there for free health check-ups.

Admission: The professors here are really smart. They bring in scientists from all over the world for conferences. The teaching is top-notch, and the curriculum sets us up to be great scientists for the future. It's all about ethics and making a positive impact on humanity.
Placement: Most students don't get job offers right after college, but many choose to pursue further studies or work at private companies abroad. If you're aiming for a job right after graduation, be prepared to look for one on your own.
Campus: Everything is great here. The Wi-Fi speed is awesome, but it can be a bit shaky at times. No data limit, so that's a plus. The labs are top-notch, feels like an international university. The hostel is nice, but the single rooms are a bit cramped. Opt for a two-person room if you want more space.

Admission: The professors here are top-notch experts in their subjects. So, the basic classes can be a bit tough. But when it comes to research, this college is one of the best around. They stick to the UGC rules, but also make changes to help us learn better.
Placement: A lot of students from my college are off to do their PhDs in top universities in India and other countries. There isn't a specific placement office, but I got into a PhD program in Canada with a nice INR 15 Lakh stipend each year. In my field of chemistry, many students end up working at Macleod Pharmaceuticals.
Campus: NISER has everything you'd expect from a private college. They get a lot of funding from the Department of Atomic Energy in India. The hostel is really nice, especially compared to other government colleges. The food is great too, with lots of choices for different diets.

Admission: The teachers at NISER are really smart and have won awards for their research work. They update the course materials often and listen to our suggestions. The classes are tough but they prepare us well for our future jobs.
Placement: Our college focuses on training students to excel in the science field and contribute to society's scientific progress. It's great for those aiming for a PhD in India or abroad. A lot of students have landed good jobs both in India and overseas, doing well in their research areas. Since NISER is part of the Department of Atomic Energy, students with a CGPA above 7.5 can skip the BARC written exam and go straight to the interviews, which is a plus. Many students have also secured internships in India and abroad, showing plenty of opportunities for hands-on experience.
Campus: The fee structure and scholarships at NISER are good, making the campus infrastructure pretty decent. Facilities are fine for students to have a good five years here. The academic block is air-conditioned, and the lecture halls are big and modern. The library has lots of books, both physical and electronic. Hostel rooms are spacious and airy. The food in the mess is okay, kind of like in other government colleges. The only downside is the lack of sports facilities for fun activities. The internet speed using LAN is super fast, up to 450-500 Mbps, but usually around 80-200 Mbps. Wi-Fi is available in all buildings, and some hostels have it too.

Admission: The professors here have got 2 foreign post docs, so you know they're top-notch. Our courses are more hands-on than at other schools. The exams are pretty chill and you can easily get a good GPA without killing yourself studying.
Placement: I recommend aiming for at least an 8 GPA here. The university offers educational internships, not industrial ones. If you're serious about pursuing higher studies like a foreign PhD, this is a good choice. While the placements may not be as great as IITs, you can definitely find good opportunities if you work hard.
Campus: The Wi-Fi at NISER is great, speeds go up to 75mbps. Downloading stuff is super quick, which is awesome. If you're into studying, there's a main library you can use. Food in the hostels differs - some have really good quality food, while others have tasty but not so healthy options.

Admission: The teachers here are top-notch in their field. They're really helpful, and we even have teaching assistants to explain things better. The way they teach and the quality are amazing. The course content is on par with the best colleges globally, which sets us up well for our PhDs in the future.
Placement: This college is all about research. Not many people focus on placements, but it's a respected institute for Science and research. Every year, a handful of students get the chance to pursue a Ph.D. at top colleges like MIT and Stanford. If you maintain a CGPA of 7.5 by the end of the Integrated M.Sc. program, you can interview for a C grade scientist position at BARC with a monthly salary of 80000.
Campus: I really like that the institute is funded by DAE and it's a new campus. The labs, classrooms, and libraries are amazing. The hostel and mess are super clean since it's new, but the food could be better sometimes.

Admission: The college faculty is really good. They know their stuff and have lots of experience. Teachers are always there to help us with our projects. They even take us on trips to companies and give us extra lessons. The course we study is useful and gets us ready for jobs. But the exams are tough!
Placement: I loved studying at NISER because they provide great learning and job opportunities. About 60-70% of students here find jobs after graduation, with an average salary of 8-12 LPA. Many big research companies come for placements, offering roles like researchers and research fellows. It's a great place to kickstart your career!
Campus: NISER is great for Ph.D. programs with awesome facilities. The campus is big and has everything we need. The college management is really helpful and takes care of everything well. We have labs, library, canteen, Wi-Fi, big classrooms, hostel, and sports facilities. The hostel rooms are nice and the food in the mess is pretty good. Overall, it's a nice place to study.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. A lot of them have their PhDs from other countries, which is cool. The course is interesting, but the exams can be tough. You gotta put in the work to do well on quizzes and tests.
Placement: If you're into science, this Institute is the place to be. You'll have access to great facilities and work alongside amazing professors. While there aren't direct job placements, snagging an internship is pretty straightforward. With the right experience, you can land a job as a scientist in leading research firms. It's totally worth it!
Campus: I really like the campus life here. They provide free internet and LAN in the hostels. Each hostel has its own canteen, and there's even a night canteen. You can find medical facilities on campus, plus a gym and playgrounds. The food they serve is pretty good too.
