Admission: The professors here are so helpful and really know their stuff. They can guide you well and get you ready for any exam. The first two semesters cover the basics, but from the third one, things get more practical and prepare you for the industry. The exams are a bit tough, but lots of students pass with flying colors.

Placement: Last year, 10 companies came to our college for placements, including IBM and Infosys. Around 80% of students in our course landed internships. The highest salary package was 8 lakhs for 6 months, while the lowest was 2 lakhs. Most students got internships paying between 2 to 6 lakhs per annum on average.

Campus: There are a lot of facilities for our course, like a library, labs for all practical subjects, and nice classrooms with air-conditioning. Wi-Fi is there, but it's pretty slow, so using phone data might be better. The hostels aren't great, so I'd recommend not choosing them. However, there's a canteen, medical facilities, and sports and games available on campus.

Admission: The teachers were okay - they were nice and ready to help. But the course wasn't that great. Nowadays, education feels like it's all about money. Even after 4 years of studying, you still have to take extra classes for 3-6 months to get a job. The course didn't really prepare us for what we need in the real world.

Placement: Around 40% of us got jobs after college. Hitachi gave the highest pay of 6 LPA in a campus event. One person got 1.2 LPA as a content writer. InstaData and Admavic hired the most. Most of us got content writing jobs. Some of us got jobs in TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant through off-campus events. ObjectSol was also off-campus.

Campus: The classrooms have air-conditioners, but only hostel students get Wi-Fi. Labs are good, but the library doesn't have many books. I don't stay in the hostel, but my friends say the food is okay and the hostel is nice. There are games in the hostel area too.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They‚¬â„¢re super friendly and always ready to help. They help us find internships and get job placements. They even teach us how to ace those tricky interviews. Plus, we‚¬â„¢ve done a bunch of practice interviews with them. Really grateful for all their help!

Placement: I was one of the lucky 1% of students who landed a job in 2019 after college. The pay was around 2 Lacs per year. Companies like BYJU's, Vedantu, L&T, and Bengal Building Solutions Pvt. Ltd. were hiring from our college. Everyone in our batch got internships, which was cool. My course even offers management roles.

Campus: The classrooms and labs at this college are awesome. The hostel facilities are top-notch. The food and rooms are great. Everything at the hostel, like the beds and food, is really good. The campus is nice too. But the best part is the location of the college - it's really convenient.

Admission: The professors are super supportive and always there to help us out. In the CSE program, we don't get a lot of exposure to real-world industry needs. It's mostly up to us to work hard and succeed beyond college. We have exams between each semester, like in all MAKAUT colleges. The semesters are challenging but manageable.

Placement: This college doesn't really help with placements. It's more for people who already have a job in mind or just need a degree. They do post off-campus job opportunities on the notice board, which is helpful. But mostly, it's up to you to find job opportunities on your own.

Campus: The classrooms have air conditioning and the campus has free Wi-Fi. But the buildings have been under construction for a while. PCMT isn't as big as some other colleges in West Bengal with similar fees. Other colleges have better facilities for the same price.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They know their stuff and teach well. But the courses aren't super useful. We learn about things like economics and EVs, which aren't really needed in our industry. It would be better to focus on more relevant subjects.

Placement: The college doesn't have good job placements for ECE students. Only about 40% of students got internships. The highest offer was 3.0 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 1.2 lakhs per annum. There weren't any core job placements. I'm pretty disappointed with how things went down. They really need to step up their game when it comes to job placements.

Campus: Our college doesn't have a cafeteria or Wi-Fi. The classrooms and library are nice, but the air-conditioners don't work well. I think they should upgrade the labs and facilities. It would be cool to have some cultural events or fests too.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really great! They're super helpful and you can ask them anything after class without any worries. They are very supportive and the exams are held regularly.

Placement: The placement at our college is decent. Most students get placed off-campus, while a few get on-campus jobs. However, the jobs aren't always in our field of study, which can be a problem. Overall, the college offers good placement opportunities.

Campus: I really like the hostels at Pailan College of Management and Technology. They have separate hostels for guys and girls, which is great. The college's infrastructure is also really good. Overall, it's a nice place to stay.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really smart. They explain things well in class, so if you pay attention, you won't miss anything. They're super nice and always willing to help. Just ask for help and they'll make sure you understand.

Placement: The job placements at our college are okay, not amazing. The salaries they offer are pretty standard for engineering jobs in India. If you're an average student, you might find it harder to get a good salary package.

Campus: The college campus is really cool. You gotta take a bus to get around the whole Pailan group campus. There's even a theater right next to the engineering college. Plus, they offer a bunch of different courses.

Admission: The media science teachers here aren't great at teaching. Only 1 out of 5 teachers really knows their stuff. It's hard to understand them when they speak English. And sometimes they can be unfair.

Placement: It's tough to find jobs in media science after college. The professors don't really assist students with getting placed.

Campus: The college buildings are just okay, not too fancy. Heard the chairman got in trouble for having illegal money. Inside looks nice, but there's no canteen for snacks.

Admission: The college charges a lot, but they don't have different teachers for each subject. One teacher handles multiple subjects. The teachers are well-qualified, but the teaching quality isn't great. Some teachers are nice, while others can be a bit bossy. The course isn't very good and doesn't prepare us for the industry. The industry needs various skills and knowledge, but it's not covered in the curriculum. That's why a lot of students end up working in BPOs.

Placement: Only 60% of us got placed, but the top placement rate is 70%. In Kolkata, the highest package is around 2 to 2.5 LPA, while it's higher outside Kolkata. Sometimes, a few companies offer 3 to 3.5 LPA, but they want super skills that most BCA freshers don't have. The college mostly sees companies like Archeitive Solution, PCS Global, and RK Infotech coming in. For online or off-campus placements, there's Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, and more. By the end of the year, about 60% of us snag internships in places like PCS Global, Archeitive Solution, BYJU's, and Talent Data Technology. You'll mostly land jobs in support, BPO, HR, management, tech support, or roles like junior developer, analyst, or tester.

Campus: The college used to be clean and well-maintained before, but not anymore. Only the admission area looks good to make parents think it's nice. There are no lifts here. Each department's building is far apart, even the ground is a trek away. You have to take a rickshaw just to get around the campus. They promised Wi-Fi, but I still don't have the password and can't use it. The classrooms are spacious, but they echo a lot. There aren't many teachers, so one teacher handles multiple subjects. The library has lots of books, but it's not well-kept. The accounts department isn't helpful and ignores student concerns. They charge a hefty fine of 3,000 rupees for late fees. The labs have old PCs, broken keyboards, and chairs. The water facilities are gross, with dirty coolers and bad-tasting water. The hostels look good outside but don't match up inside. The girls' hostel is even worse. The canteen serves low-quality food, so most students eat out. Sports events are a mess because there's no sports teacher. Teachers have to fill in and teach sports. The common room only has one carrom board for many students. Medical facilities are good, though.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and helpful. They don't just teach us, but also share interesting stuff. The head of the department can be strict sometimes, but it's not too bad. The exams could be better, but if you pay attention and study, you'll do fine.

Placement: The placement scene here is pretty decent. Lots of companies come for interviews, like Lens Kart and Titan Eye. Some seniors have been hired by them. Around 60% of students get placed, but it varies by batch. The average package is 6 LPA.

Campus: The college buildings are nice, but the hostel is just okay. You have to buy your own food since there's no mess. The college has medical help and even its own ambulance. The principal is cool and supports sports and cultural stuff.
