PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana, has earned national rankings across six major disciplines through India Today, The Week, IIRF, Outlook, and The Times of India (TOI). In the latest 2026 rankings, Mass Communication emerged as the institute's highest-ranked program by securing 38th out of 100 colleges in the IIRF Rankings, while Hotel Management recorded the biggest improvement, rising to 43rd nationally in IIRF and 59th in The Week Rankings. The MBA program also strengthened PCTE's national presence with rankings of 62nd out of 232 colleges (India Today) and 79th out of 100 colleges (TOI). Across multiple ranking surveys, several programs also secured Top 3 to Top 7 positions in Punjab.

The latest rankings show that PCTE Group of Institutes has secured national recognition across MBA, B.Tech, Hotel Management, Design, BBA/BMS, and Mass Communication. In 2026, the institute's highest achievement was #38 in India for Mass Communication (IIRF), with several programs also earning Top 3–7 positions in Punjab. India Today ranked PCTE across five professional programs between 2024 and 2026. Among them, MBA recorded the institute's highest national position (62 out of 232 colleges), while Hotel Management and BBA/BMS consistently remained among the Top 3 colleges in Punjab.

PCTE Group of Institutes The Week Ranking 2026

The Week Rankings show steady improvement in PCTE's Hotel Management program. The national rank improved from 66 in 2024 to 59 in 2026, while the institute also moved from 4th to 3rd in Punjab during the same period.

PCTE Group of Institutes IIRF Ranking 2026

IIRF gave PCTE its strongest national rankings in 2026. Mass Communication became the institute's highest-ranked program at 38 out of 100 colleges, while Hotel Management improved by 26 positions compared to the previous edition.

The Times of India recognised PCTE's MBA program among the Top 100 management colleges in India in 2026. The program also secured 3rd position in Punjab, reflecting its strong regional standing in management education.
