Admission: Getting admitted here was a fairly smooth experience. The online application was simple, counselling sessions were organised, and although document verification took some time, staff clarified all doubts patiently.

Academic: Our college has good teachers, almost all of them have done their PhDs in what they teach. They talk to us a lot and give us so much useful info. Their lectures are always good, and they teach in a simple, quality way. The best part is they give us a lot of freedom, and we usually use it properly. I think Puducherry Technological University has way better teachers than any other college in Pondicherry, seriously.

Placement: At Puducherry Technology University, placements are generally quite good. We have a special training and placement cell just for students to help them get jobs in good companies. Many big companies, like TCS, Cognizant, and Zoho, come to hire our students. For example, in the Computer Science department, about 80% to 90% of students get placed. It's usually easier to find a job if you are from a technical department compared to core ones.

Campus: From what I've seen, our college's infrastructure is just average because it's pretty old, maybe 30 to 40 years. The restrooms aren't clean, which is a downer. But the good thing is the admin building, where the Mechatronics department is, has good facilities. There's also a canteen for us to grab food. The campus itself is big, covers around 200 acres. And for studies, we have a central library with over a thousand books.

Admission: Getting admission here felt simple and organised. Online registration worked well, merit list timing was accurate, and counselling staff guided us clearly through document verification and orientation.

Academic: The teaching quality is good. Our teachers are very kind and know so much. They make sure we are super prepared, so the semester exams are not very tough to pass. We have three internal exams that they conduct. The course material is also very useful for all students. You need to get 50% marks to pass.

Placement: Around 90% of students from our course landed internships, with companies like Cognizant and Zoho taking most of them. For final placements, over 65% of students got jobs. Top companies like Zoho, TCS, and HCL come to recruit from our college. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest package recorded was 3.5 LPA. Graduates often get roles such as HR and senior software developer.

Campus: For medical needs, our college has a dispensary. Also, in our department, they give us many facilities like a water purifier, smart classrooms, a library, and Wi-Fi. The food here is okay, I'd say average quality.

Admission: Applying to Puducherry Technological University felt straightforward from the beginning. The online portal was easy to use, counselling dates were shared promptly after the merit list, and document verification was managed smoothly without confusion.

Academic: Our teachers are super helpful and know their stuff well. The teaching quality here is pretty good, and they usually explain everything in English. If you're thinking about CSE, it's a good choice. The semester exams are not too hard at all. You just need to get 50% to pass, and honestly, studying the previous year's questions is totally enough to clear them easily.

Placement: Placements for CSE students are quite good, usually around 87%, and some folks even say it goes up to 100% sometimes. The highest salary someone got was like 10 to 15 lakhs per year, while on average, people get 6 lakhs, and the lowest is 3 lakhs per year. Many big companies like Wipro, IBM, TCS, and Infosys visit our campus for hiring. It's heard that these companies manage to place about 89% of the CSE students. Also, for the civil department, around 70% of students get placed, especially in Wipro, though I'm not totally sure about that exact number.

Campus: The facilities here are okay, but some things need fixing. For example, classrooms don't have Wi-Fi, though hostel rooms get free Wi-Fi. The food in the hostel is not good at all, and there's no canteen for students living in the hostel. Another big issue is that medical help is not available after 5 PM. We have sports and games, but the ground has no lights, so after 7 PM, no one can play there.

Admission: Entering Puducherry Technological University felt well-supported. From counselling to final registration, the staff guided me patiently through document checks and payments, making the entire process easy to follow.

Academic: Getting through semester exams is super easy. Honestly, just one night of study is enough to pass them, though the pass percentage is about 35 percent. What's not so good is that the syllabus we follow is pretty old. Also, even though all our teachers have PhD degrees, the way they teach isn't that great. One more thing is that you need to maintain 75 percent attendance.

Placement: About our college placements, mainly CSE students get jobs, around 60% of them. Other branches barely see any placements. The average salary package is 5 lakhs, and the highest one recorded was 24 lakhs. Not many students here get internships, which is a bit of a bummer. Companies like L&T, Wipro, and TCS do visit our campus for hiring. But to be honest, a lot of the roles offered are mostly like call center jobs.

Campus: From what I see, our college infrastructure is still developing and needs a lot of work. The classrooms, for example, do not have digital equipment or even proper Wi-Fi. Also, the library here feels outdated. When it comes to the labs, they are very old and use equipment that is also very old. Even the hostel is super basic, and we often face problems with water and Wi-Fi connection there.

Admission: Getting selected at Puducherry Technological University felt rewarding. Counselling sessions were well-organised, document verification was smooth, and the registration process moved quickly, making the overall experience stress-free.

Academic: I picked Mechanical Engineering because I was super interested in it. Our college offers the best syllabus for this course, and the curriculum here is good, with lots of improvements that help students get ready for real-world work. Also, they use digital teaching methods, so every classroom has a projector installed. We have exams every six months.

Placement: Students in their seventh and eighth semesters become eligible for college placements. Our college has a great 100% placement record. For Mechanical Engineering, some good core companies like Mahindra, Wabag, and Tata visited the campus. The highest package was 12 LPA, and the average package was 5 LPA. I was planning to get a job through campus recruitment myself.

Campus: The hostel facilities at our college, honestly, weren't very good. Jio network was a big problem, like no signal most of the time, and the Wi-Fi kept going off too often. Our restrooms were not clean, and any issues or repairs took ages to get done. About the food, it wasn't great. They did serve non-veg three times a week, but the taste was very random sometimes good, sometimes bad. The only plus point was it felt a little cheaper than living outside in rented rooms. All in all, the hostel experience was not good at all.

Admission: Applying to Puducherry Technological University felt uncomplicated. The online portal was easy, counselling schedules were clear, document verification was quick, and staff support during registration was helpful.

Academic: Our college has good teachers. Most of them are super knowledgeable, and like 80-90% even have their PhDs! They have lots of experience in teaching too, so learning is good. The course syllabus is also very relevant. For exams, the pass percentage for the university is 50%. We study for four years, and in that time, we have eight semesters. Each semester is for six months.

Placement: Our college has a training and placement cell that helps everyone with job opportunities. Good companies visit us every year to hire students. About half of the students get placed here. For branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, placements are much better than for departments such as Mechanical, Civil, and Chemical.

Campus: Our college has a nice hostel setup. We have three hostels for boys and one separate one for girls. Every hostel comes with Wi-Fi, which is very helpful for studies and other things. The food quality here is above average, so it's quite decent. For the boys, there is an open space right in the middle of their hostel where they can play indoor games. Also, if any student feels sick, there's a dispensary to help them, and an ambulance facility is also available for emergencies.

Admission: From application to joining, my admission at Puducherry Technological University went well. The registration portal worked fine, document verification during counselling was efficient, and staff patiently guided us through enrollment and orientation.

Academic: The teachers are good and they guide us students very well. Honestly, I like all the faculty members here. The course curriculum is pretty good, and the syllabus is also quite normal, not too tough for anyone. Every year, we have four mid-term exams and two main semester exams. There's a gap of one month between each mid-exam. The exams are just moderate, not too hard and not too easy. We do have more students compared to the number of teachers though.

Placement: Students can start applying for campus placements from their third year here. Many big companies like TCS, Accenture, and Amazon visit our college for recruiting. I am still in my first year, so I don't know all the company names properly yet. But I do know our university's highest package is 60 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA, it all depends on the company and what job role you get.

Campus: Every year, our college holds cool sports events for all departments, covering every sport you can think of, and they choose one overall champion. Plus, every student gets a library passbook, which is super useful for borrowing books.

Admission: My admission journey at Puducherry Technological University was systematic. Clear updates from application to counselling helped a lot, document verification went steadily, and final registration and fee payment were smooth.

Academic: The teachers in our department are great, many of them are from big institutes like IIT and IISc, so they have tons of knowledge. We never feel bad or shy asking them anything because they are just like our friends and even like parents. They don't only teach us studies but also make sure we learn discipline. For example, boys have to get proper haircuts and everyone follows a strict dress code here.

Placement: In our college, many good companies like TCL, Infosys, Saint Gobain, and even some solar companies come for recruitment. They offer pretty decent salaries, usually from 6 LPA to 10 LPA. Our faculty also provides great support for GATE exams, giving advice and even coaching to students. About the placement numbers, it's around 2 to 3 percent, but this figure depends on how many students decide to join the training and placement cell.

Campus: Our department has the biggest and first chemical engineering lab in India, which is super cool. The college library is open from 9 AM to 8 PM for all students. I'm a day scholar, but I've visited my friends in the hostel. You need permission from security or the warden to enter the hostel, which keeps things safe. I even tried the food at the hostel canteen, and it was pretty good, matching their menu. So, there are no worries about food, Wi-Fi, rooms, or student stuff there, as everything is well managed. Wardens also keep a check on student activities inside the hostel. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Besides the hostel canteen, we have two more canteens outside. Our college organises many sports events and festivals, and the Rejour festival is the most famous one.

Admission: I found the admission process at Puducherry Technological University very smooth overall. The application portal was user-friendly, merit list updates came on time, and document verification was handled efficiently with staff assistance.

Academic: The curriculum here is quite old, honestly. It helps you clear the semester exams, but it's not up-to-date with what companies look for in the industry. And speaking of exams, they are pretty tough; you have to score at least 50 percent to pass. But on the bright side, our teachers are super qualified, with most having Ph.D. degrees. They are also very helpful and their teaching style is good.

Placement: From my experience in the computer science department, placements are decent here. Out of 120 students each year, about 60 usually get placed. The highest salary someone got was around 13 Lacs per annum, and the lowest was 3 Lacs per annum. On average, students get about 4 Lacs per year. It's also good that around 60 percent of the students get internships in companies like TCS and Wipro.

Campus: What about the college's setup? Well, the classrooms are kind of old-fashioned and the syllabus feels quite outdated. Even the labs here are not modern, they use old machines. Hostels are okay, but the mess food is not good at all. One good thing is there's always a medical team right inside the campus.

Admission: When I applied, the admission steps were easy to follow. The portal worked smoothly, the merit list came out as scheduled, and document verification was quick with cooperative staff during counselling.

Academic: About our college, the teachers here are knowledgeable. They help us out with everything. Exams are a bit tough, and you need 50% to pass. Also, you must have 75% attendance to sit for exams. Getting admission is through CENTAC, which the Puducherry government manages. Our college is pretty good for sports too. This course is super important for stuff like biotechnology, process control, pharmacies, and thermodynamics.

Placement: Talking about placements, our college is quite good. More than 90% of students get placed every year. Big companies like Tata, Zoho, MRF, and Qualcomm come here to hire us. The highest salary package anyone got was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA.

Campus: Our campus has a huge playground, which is nice. The labs for our department are also very good. We all share one common library for every department. Hostels are just average, but I must say the food they give is great.
