Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really care about helping students succeed academically and personally. The class sizes are small, with just 45 students for every teacher. This means they can give each of us the attention we need to do well.
Placement: I really liked how PPG Institute of Technology helps students get good jobs. They really care about our future. A lot of students, like 75%, ended up working for big companies like IBM and HP. It's great to see that our hard work pays off with awesome job opportunities.
Campus: The facilities at PPG IT are top-notch. We've got Wi-Fi in classrooms, a great library, sports facilities, and even coaching for athletes. The food is safe and delicious too. The labs feel like you're actually working in a real industry. The hostel isn't the best, but it's alright if you can get used to it.

Admission: The teachers are really good here. They know their stuff and can help you learn a lot. The course is based on Anna University¬â¢s syllabus, which is great for engineering students. I feel like I'm getting a solid education here.
Placement: The job placements were pretty good, but most companies at the campus drive were mainly hiring for tech support roles. A lot of students ended up getting placed in CTS and HCL. It seems like the college is working hard to bring in more top companies for student recruitment.
Campus: The college has awesome facilities, especially in the labs. Each department has its own building, and the library is stocked with tons of engineering and other books. It's cool that the college is close to tech parks in Coimbatore. You can really see how things work in the industry. It's a great place to learn!

Admission: The teachers weren't very good at the technical stuff. Sometimes, one teacher had to handle two subjects. But they were patient and helped clear our doubts. There weren't enough teachers in all the departments. The teaching wasn't great because the management cared only about results. They only cared about exams. They acted like they taught us everything, but they only prepared us for the university exams. The internal exams were useless. We didn't get in-plant training, but we could go on our own with permission and duty leave.
Placement: In our class, there were 51 students, and 30 got placed. However, none of us landed jobs in the core field. Companies like Tech Mahindra, IDBI, and KGISL conducted on-campus placements, but the roles offered were in customer support, BPOs, and marketing. This was the same for our seniors, who had over 100 students in their batch. Unfortunately, core companies didn't come to our campus, and we didn't have the right training to approach them. One senior from the 2016 batch got a job at Zoho International with a salary of 40,000 per month. The faculty guided us on how to find internships, but some of us had to look for opportunities on our own without any stipends. We still dream of working in a core company, but the placement opportunities for my batch were just average no core companies hired us.
Campus: Our campus is pretty small, around 8-10 acres. We have separate buildings for business and engineering, which are fine for our student numbers. The classrooms are spacious and have fans and windows, but no projectors on the walls. We had to borrow them from the lab for seminars. Wi-Fi is there, but you need permission to use it. The library has all the books we need, newspapers, journals, and internet access. The chairman runs a hospital 7 km away, so medical facilities are good. Sports are okay, but the trainer isn't great. We have cultural events sometimes. Hostel rooms have 4 people sharing. The food used to be bad, maybe it's better now. The canteen food is okay. There are 4 labs, 2 with lots of computers and 2 for hardware. They also have a cool new center with Texas Instruments kits. We need more playgrounds and the library could be better.

Admission: The teachers at my college were super friendly! They were really experienced and knew their stuff well. They used a more old-school teaching style, and the class sizes were small, about 10 students per teacher. I got to visit a few companies with my class and learned a lot about how things work in the real world.
Placement: Placement was not great in my department or for the seniors. Other departments had better luck with placements. A lot of students landed jobs in BPO and KPO companies. The highest salary was 12,000. Some got roles as Business Analysts or in call centers. Unfortunately, the college didn't provide internships or help us find any.
Campus: The college I went to had pretty good facilities. The labs had a lot of equipment, but some of it was broken. The classrooms were clean and big. The library had books from all departments by local and foreign authors. They focused a lot on cricket, volleyball, and kabaddi. The food in the canteen was also good.

Admission: The teachers here are a mix of really good ones and just okay ones. They mostly teach using blackboard and PowerPoint slides. We don't have many hands-on classes. Some might find the curriculum helpful, but the education system here isn't great, so we can't really blame the college for that.
Placement: Placement opportunities are limited here. The college does its best, but it's tough to get on-campus placements with big companies. Smaller companies in Coimbatore might be interested, but it's not easy to get placed.
Campus: The campus has good facilities like free Wi-Fi, a nice library, and basic medical help if needed. The labs are decent, and there's a nice open area for hanging out. The classrooms are good too. Hostel food might not be everyone's favorite, but that's pretty common in colleges. Overall, it's a nice place to study.

Admission: The professors here cover all the subjects. Most of them really know their stuff and are great at teaching. A few could do better, though. But overall, they work hard to help us succeed.
Placement: The college helps with placements, but mostly for CSE and EC students. IT companies are the ones that usually come for recruitment. Unfortunately, placements for mechanical and civil students are not great. Not many companies in those fields come to campus for placements.
Campus: The college's setup is okay. I like how the building looks from the front. The classrooms are decent, and we have a nice library. The canteen is clean, and the food is decent. We have different labs, but the machines in the mechanical lab need better care. The campus ground is alright, nothing amazing. They do have hostels for both guys and girls, and the food in the hostel mess is alright.

Admission: The teachers here aren't great. Some are good, but many leave after a year or two. The faculty isn't consistent. They finish the course before the exam, but don't cover it well. They don't seem very interested in teaching.
Placement: The placements at this college are really disappointing. Not many good companies visit for placements, mostly just business processing firms. The faculty talks highly about the placement cell, but it doesn't seem to help much. The aptitude classes for placements are not very helpful either. It's a letdown.
Campus: The campus looks great with 2 main blocks a-block and b-block. The staff keeps everything in good shape. There's even a hostel just 100m away from PPG Institute. And you won't have to go far for cash because there's an Indian Bank ATM right in front of the main building. It's all very convenient and well-kept.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. The course matches up well with what we need to learn. We get to visit companies sometimes, which is cool. Also, the lab is well-equipped with good machines for practical work.
Placement: This college in Coimbatore is just okay. Not a lot of students land jobs at good companies. Only about 5% of us actually get hired. The pay is somewhere between INR 20,000 to INR 28,000. The courses offered are mechanical, civil engineering, computer engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechatronics, biomedical, and agricultural engineering.
Campus: The college has everything from a playground and gym to hockey, kabaddi, and cricket grounds. There's also a basketball court and a shuttle court. The classrooms are smart and can fit 50 students. The library is well-equipped. Plus, there's a canteen and a restaurant with good quality food.

Admission: I found it easy to pass exams at this college under Anna University. The college changed to autonomous a few years ago, which really helped me pass all my exams. The staff here also hold weekly tests to help us get high marks. Plus, the campus sports like badminton are really good too!
Placement: I just finished my exams and got 75% this semester. I'm aiming for a good job after college, and I heard the starting salary here is around $125,000 per year. The internships they offer are great for landing good jobs. Engineering is the most popular course, but they also have an arts program. Everyone here gets the chance to do an internship, which is awesome.
Campus: The college canteen is nice with big sitting tables and lots of space for about 80 people. You can chill there during free time with staff permission. They have sports like cricket, badminton, kabaddi, football, and hockey available too. The infrastructure is good overall.

Admission: I really like the teachers in my CSE department. They're good at teaching and they support us a lot. They even offer extra classes for students who need help, especially in math. There are 53 students in my class with 8 teachers. The college also has a scholarship for students who need it, which I think is great for everyone.
Placement: During my time at college in 2016, we had over 5 companies come for placements. Most of them were IT and BPO companies. The college also gave us the chance to attend off-campus drives in Tamil Nadu. Placement opportunities were great for circuit branches, but non-circuit branches didn't have as many options.
Campus: The college has separate buildings for each department and lab rooms, which is great. Wi-Fi connects the college and hostels, making it convenient to access anywhere. The hostel food is good, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
