PRSU: Scholarships 2025 – Eligibility, Application & Amount

PRSU offers various scholarships for students based on merit or who are financially weak. Students can also apply for numerous AICTE, UGC, state governments, and central government scholarships. For central government scholarships, one has to visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) portal and fill out the form for the scholarship they wish to avail. The table below lists PRSU Scholarships along with their eligibility criteria and scholarship amount:

PG Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST Students for Pursuing Professional Courses Students who are pursuing professional courses.

Note: M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., MSW and Mass Communication and Journalism degree are accepted as non-professional courses

INR 7800 for M.E/M.Tech students and INR 4500 for other courses
Pre-matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities Students' parental income should not exceed INR 2,50,000.

Students with disabilities with 40% and above

Day scholars- INR 500 per month

Hostellers- INR 800 per month

Minority Scholarship SC/ST/OBC category students having siblings studying in the School of Studies have the facility to pay the full fee only by the eldest one and the rest members need to pay half the fee Reimbursement of Tuition Fee
Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Fellowship Students working for a Ph.D. degree in the School of Studies INR 10,000 per month
