Admission: College attendance is a must here. Sitting through lectures may not be helpful, and it can be a real headache. But you gotta show up for attendance. They don't really care about your mental health; they'll put a lot of pressure on you. It's tough, but you gotta deal with it.
Placement: Most students here get placed through college placements, which is awesome. The average package is about 8 LPA, which is pretty good. The highest package so far is around 33-34 LPA at PhonePe, but only a few lucky students get that. Unfortunately, big companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon don't come for on-campus placements here. If someone says otherwise, they're totally wrong.
Campus: The campus is super small, only 4 acres, and it's always noisy because it's in a busy area. There's no good spot where everyone can hang out. It's tough to even find a place to stand with your friends. I wish I could give it 0 stars for the setup, but I'll settle for 1 star since that's the lowest rating.

Admission: The teachers at PICT were awesome! They encouraged us to try new things and learn from real-life situations. But, honestly, the courses at SPPU were kinda boring. The exams were a piece of cake, you didn't even have to study much during the semester.
Placement: During my time in the 2024 batch, around 80% of us got jobs on campus. Over 100 companies came to our college, which was a great opportunity to impress them with our skills. I ended up getting a job in a good company with an average salary of 7 LPA and a median salary of 9 LPA.
Campus: The campus at PICT wasn't great. They only had two buildings and one hostel for guys, but it could only fit around 200 guys and 400 girls. Plus, there wasn't any housing for fourth-year guys. The sports field was super tiny too.

Admission: The teachers all have Master's degrees and teaching experience. Teaching can be hit or miss - some are boring, some are great. We cover important topics like DSA, DBMS, and OS that help with getting a job. But the assignments are a pain and not really worth it. Exams aren't too hard, and most students end up with a CGPA above 7.5.
Placement: Almost all students get jobs after college. The highest package is 33 LPA by PhonePe, and the lowest is around 3 LPA. The average package is 9 LPA. Companies like PhonePe, Barclays, ZS Associates, Toshiba, ACI, Mastercard, and Arista Networks hire students. Some students also get internships at companies like Barclays, Mastercard, B.M.C., and Arista Networks. Job roles include Software Developer, Trainee, Data Analyst, Associate Software Developer, and Full Stack Developer.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is good and doesn't cost anything. In the labs, we have all the stuff we need for our E&TC courses - like computers and gadgets. The library has all kinds of books. The hostel rooms are nice with two beds, a bathroom, and a geyser. The food in the mess is okay, but it can get dull after a while. We play cricket, football, and volleyball here, and there's even a gym to workout in.

Admission: PICT is great for academics. The teachers know their stuff and have lots of experience. This year, PICT became autonomous, so the curriculum got even better and more focused on placements. The semester exams aren't too hard if you pay attention in class.
Placement: The placement cell at PICT is really good. Loads of companies come for placements, and most students get placed. The highest salary offered is around 64 LPA by a fintech company. On average, computer engineering students get about 20 LPA. Big companies like Barclays, Bank of New York, and PhonePe come for hiring. And from the third year, there are internship opportunities too.
Campus: The campus is small but nice, with 3 academic blocks and separate hostels for boys and girls. Each subject has its own lab with all the stuff we need. We all get to use the college Wi-Fi and library. The hostel has everything we need like laundry, bathrooms, and security. The food in the mess is pretty good and they make sure it's clean. We have sports teams, but the ground is a bit on the smaller side. There's even a good-sized gym on campus.

Admission: The teachers here can be pretty harsh. Even if you do okay in the practicals and your viva goes alright, they still give you a B grade. They don't really care about what's going on in your life. Assignments always come first, even if you have things like interviews or other important stuff happening.
Placement: The placements are pretty good, but there's a lot of competition. If you can, go for VJTI, CUMMINS, or COEP. The college has specific requirements for dream companies, and they sometimes pick students based on their grades. Another option could be WCE Sangli, which doesn't have those strict criteria.
Campus: The campus is small, but the girls' hostel is decent. The food at the mess is really bad though. On the bright side, there's a big ground for playing different sports, and they also have indoor games like carrom and table tennis.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and make sure we understand everything with lots of examples. The notes they give us are super helpful. The semester exams are just right - not too easy, not too hard. You need to get at least 30% to pass, which seems fair. Overall, the teachers are awesome and really know their stuff.
Placement: I was in the Information Technology batch. Around 92% of us got placed with an average package of 9 LPA. Every year, top students from IT get a package of 47 LPA. This college offers computer-related courses like Information Technology, Computer Science, EnTC, and Artificial Intelligence.
Campus: The campus has good Wi-Fi, lots of labs, big classrooms, and a large library with all kinds of books. There's even a multi-purpose ground for sports and table tennis. The food in the canteen is pretty good, and the hostel has decent facilities and resources. Overall, it's a great place to study and live on campus.

Admission: Living close to campus is super convenient for going to classes and using college stuff. The hostel fees are pretty fair compared to other places. Security is good here, so I feel safe. The atmosphere in the hostels is chill and good for studying. The rooms can feel a bit small, especially if you share. The facilities like ventilation and furniture are basic. The food in the mess gets boring and some people don't like it. The Wi-Fi can be slow and not reliable, which is annoying for students who need it for studying. The rules and timings can be strict, which might not be everyone's thing. Staying at the PICT hostel is a good choice if you want something affordable and close to campus, but you might have to give up some comfort and modern stuff. Checking out other hostels or PGs nearby could be better if you want more options. PICT is a top engineering college in Pune, known for its academics and job placements. The courses are strong and will prepare you well.
Placement: PICT has great placement opportunities, especially in IT and software companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Microsoft, and Amazon. A lot of students get really good job offers, especially in software development and data science. The college helps with placements by offering training and mock interviews through a special placement cell.
Campus: The hostel isn't for everyone since it's first-come, first-served. It's cheaper to rent a PG outside. The rooms can be small, especially if you have a roommate. The ventilation and furniture are basic. The food in the mess gets complaints for being repetitive and not so great.

Admission: The competition here is tough, and it's hard to keep pace. The teachers are a mixed bag some are great, some not so much. They just switched the course to autonomous, which lets them update the syllabus as they see fit. Right now, they're working on making it more up-to-date.
Placement: I'm new here, but I've heard great stuff about the job opportunities. Last year, Dell hired more than 50 students from the third year. There are also other companies offering cool international internships. The placement scene is pretty good here.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere. The labs are okay, not super fancy, but they get the job done. I don't stay in the hostel, I live in a PG. But from what I've heard, the rooms are big. The only downside is there's no washing machine.

Admission: The teachers at PICT are really good. They know their stuff and are always ready to help. The course content is okay, but it could use some updating to keep up with the industry. Exams can be a bit challenging, but most students pass. The rules during exams are strict, like checking your details thoroughly before you can start.
Placement: The placements for 2023 look really good up to 91%! The highest package was around 47 LPA, while the average was about 11.5 LPA. Some of the top recruiters were PhonePe, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, and a bunch of other tech companies. I heard that PhonePe offered a 41 LPA package to one of the electronic students, but I can't say for sure. The popular roles from our college include data science engineer, web developer, robotics through AI, and electronic engineer.
Campus: The campus is good for studying and learning about industries. There aren't too many open spaces, but that's fine because they offer lots of opportunities. The classrooms are nice, and the library is big. The hostel is decent, and the food in the mess is good.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really professional. They know their stuff and have lots of experience. The classes are a bit old-fashioned, but the college atmosphere makes up for it. They even have their own exams to get us ready for the big university ones. It's a great place to study!
Placement: The college is famous for getting students good jobs. Last year, the average salary for everyone was about 12 LPA, but for CSE, it was more like 16-17 LPA. Computer Science and IT students have more job options compared to ENTC students.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is pretty good. They have labs with everything we need, and Wi-Fi is available all the time. Plus, there's a library where you can study and charge your devices.
