Admission: From counselling to joining, RVCE handled the process efficiently. Document verification moved fast, staff reduced confusion, and admission confirmation came without delay.

Academic: The learning here is very hands-on, so we get to learn many new things by actually doing them. Our exams are quite tough though, you really need to have deep knowledge to answer the questions properly. All the teachers are well-qualified. Also, we often need to work together with our team members to complete projects on time.

Placement: At RVCE, many big companies visit for placements. Most students get placed with good packages. This year, the highest salary package offered was 65 LPA. Students here are generally very skilled and smart. Because of this, almost everyone lands a job, unless maybe they are from the management quota.

Campus: Our college campus feels quite new, even though it was actually started back in the 90s. We have all the facilities you'd need here. Some parts of the infrastructure might not be super modern because of when it was established, but honestly, the college is largely built recently. They just finished a new library, for example, and it's really posh. It has cool tech like sound-proofing and is a place where everyone loves to hang out.

Admission: Admission at RVCE went smoothly right from the merit list announcement. Counselling was well planned, document verification was hassle free, and staff supported us through registration. Clear communication made attending orientation simple.

Academic: The course I picked is really good for my branch. It teaches me a lot about my field and gets me ready for a job later. Our teachers are very helpful and smart, they know everything about the subject, and their teaching quality is top-notch. Semester exams are not very tough; almost 90% of students clear them without much problem.

Placement: In my biotechnology course, many students actually get internships every semester, which is nice. About 25% of us get placed, and the salaries are pretty good for those who do. The highest salary someone got was 16 LPA, while the lowest is around 3 to 6 LPA. On average, you can expect 7 to 12 LPA here. Top companies like Merck and Bangalore Bioinnovation Center recruit from our branch. If you're looking for roles, mostly it's in core R&D, but a lot of students also decide to go for higher studies instead.

Campus: In our department, we have lots of lecture halls, tutorial rooms, and a good seminar hall. There are many labs too, like for animal cell culture, plant biotechnology, and genetic engineering, among others. Our department even has its own library packed with reference books, textbooks, and journals. For internet, we get Wi-Fi with around 600 Mbps bandwidth. RVCE also offers hostels for both girls and boys. These rooms have options like double, triple, or more sharing, and come with a table, chair, and cupboard. A canteen is available in college, and there's a health center with an ambulance ready 24 hours a day.

Admission: Getting admission at RVCE felt very organised from the start. COMEDK counselling was easy to follow, I got my preferred branch, and document verification at the campus was quick with helpful staff. Registration and orientation were smooth, making the transition into college comfortable.

Academic: Our college has really good medical facilities, with an ambulance ready 24/7 for any emergency. For sports, there are all sorts of activities too, whether you like indoor games, outdoor sports, or even hitting the gym. The teachers here are super helpful and know their subjects very well, plus they all have good degrees in their field. If you want to get into biotech, this course is completely enough for what you need. Exams are a bit tough, definitely above average, so you really need to prepare for at least 10 days before. Good thing is, since this is RVCE, most students pass, like 80 to 90% usually get through.

Placement: For my branch, about 20 to 30% of students find good placements. The highest salary package in biotechnology was 16 LPA, while the lowest was 3 to 6 LPA, and the average package is around 7 to 8 LPA. We have big companies like Johnson and Johnson and Bharat Tech visiting our campus for recruitment. Internships are quite easy to get for students in my branch, almost every semester there are chances. Most students get jobs related to designing or researching bio-stuff. Some also decide to do higher studies. Our college being number one in the COMEDK colleges list definitely helps with all these opportunities.

Campus: From my experience, the facilities at our college are pretty solid. There are hostels on campus for both boys and girls, with options for double, triple, or even more people sharing rooms. The common mess for all students has food that tastes quite good. For studies, we have lots of lecture halls, separate rooms for tutorial work, and a seminar hall too. My course uses about six labs, which is enough. And the Wi-Fi speed is awesome, like 600mbps, available almost everywhere in the college building. Plus, the library is there with a big variety of books and articles.

Admission: Overall, the RVCE admission process felt professional. Merit list updates, counselling, verification, and registration were handled neatly, without any confusion.

Academic: Our teachers are super experienced, which really helps us get the concepts properly. The college curriculum is quite different from other places because they really push for practical sessions. Even though semester exams are tough, you just need 40% to pass in both CIE and SEE.

Placement: Our college sees many students getting good job offers. The average package stands at 20 LPA, with the lowest being 6 LPA and the highest reaching 96 LPA. Speaking about my course, the highest package was 67 LPA, and funnily enough, this was also the average and least package for us. Big companies like Google, Samsung, Intel, HP, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys visit our campus. They look for roles such as Software Developer, Full Stack Developer, and Data Scientist.

Campus: Our department has some really good facilities. We have a big library with good internet and a computer lab. The classrooms for theory and labs are well-equipped too. The hostel is just okay compared to others, but the food there is really good. Medical help is available all the time, 24/7. Also, every block has its own gym, and there are game courts and fields for practice.

Admission: Following the official timelines, RVCE handled admissions efficiently. Merit list updates, fee payment, and registration steps were transparent, and the help desk was useful whenever doubts came up.

Academic: A big part of our studies was about diagrammatic papers. Our teachers were excellent in designing, which helped a lot. They made sure we learned by illustrating and guiding us step by step to perfectly reconstruct designs. The best part is they focused on improving our skills instead of just making us chase high grades.

Placement: A lot of students from our college got placed in design roles. The best part is, some even got to work as interns on foreign projects. After these internships finished, many of them landed permanent jobs with salary hikes, which was really nice. Companies like L&T and Tata Group were some of the main recruiters that came.

Campus: What I like about our college library is their modern system. They use biometric for entry and stuff, no old manual system there. And for studies, they have really good resources. Like, every month they put new newspapers, journals, magazines, and all the reference books we need for our courses. It's super helpful.

Admission: Applying to RVCE was easy due to a reliable online portal. Verification staff were cooperative, updates were timely, and no unnecessary waiting happened.

Academic: Our teachers are very experienced, and they teach really well. They are super helpful too; you can go to them for any academic or career advice, and they will surely guide you. The curriculum here is designed nicely and it matches what industries need today. But it's also very important for students to take extra courses, like NPTEL ones, to make their knowledge even stronger. Exams are tough, no doubt, but if you study hard, you can pass them easily. Mostly, about 85% of students clear the exams.

Placement: When it comes to getting a job, nearly 90% of the students who tried for placements got placed here. The highest salary someone got was around 90 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and on average, it was about 10 LPA. For internships, many big core and tech companies visit our campus. Also, if you are interested, the college has its own special centers where they offer internships.

Campus: About the campus facilities, I can say that high-speed Wi-Fi is there all over the department. It helps us a lot for our studies and research work, and both students and staff can use it. Our classrooms are modern too, with smart boards, whiteboards, and projectors. We also have really good labs like the microcontroller lab, digital communication lab, and digital VLSI design lab. The library is okay, it has most of the books we need. Plus, a totally new library is coming up in December 2024, which is great. For hostel, the facilities are decent, you get good food and a comfy place to stay.

Academic: In my college, teachers are super helpful. They really guide us with our projects and subject stuff. The teaching quality is good here, especially if you are interested in learning or have some good ideas. If most of the class doesn't understand something, they even take extra classes for us. What's cool is, in the first year, they make us learn so much that you get a lot of knowledge about various industries. Semester exams are not too tough if you study properly from the start, otherwise, they can be hard.

Placement: Placements for my CSE course were quite good in 2024; almost 80% of students got placed. The highest package went up to 64 LPA, and two of our batchmates managed to get that. Even the lowest package was 5 LPA, while the average package for CSE students was around 20 LPA. Top companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Apple, Confluent, Flipkart, PhonePe, and Goldman Sachs recruited from our college. Many of the students who secured placements also got internships at these same big companies. They offered roles such as software engineer, data analyst, software developer, engineering analyst, and even software engineer intern.

Campus: Our college hostel is really new, which is great. We get 24/7 Wi-Fi and hot water there all the time. For food, the hostel has North Indian and South Indian choices, and the taste is pretty decent. They don't serve non-veg in the hostel, but you can find non-veg and junk food at the Mingos canteen. A brand new library, started by the Brigade Foundation, opened in December 2024. They are also building a gymnasium for sports, which we can use by July 2025. Until then, we play on the outdoor grounds provided by the college.

Academic: Our teachers are all M.Tech grads and really know their subjects well. Plus, they are super supportive, which is great. I think this course definitely gets us ready for jobs in the industry. But, be warned, the semester exams here are very tough and strict. If you get caught cheating, they will call your parents and you will fail that subject straight away.

Placement: From my course, about 30-40% of students usually got placed. The salary packages offered are pretty good, with the highest going up to 16 LPA and the lowest being 4 LPA. On average, students got around 7 LPA. Big companies like Satva, Shobha, L&T, and JSW come here for recruitment. It's also good that 60-70% of students from our course manage to get internships with these same companies. Mostly, the top role students get placed in is a structural designer.

Campus: Our college has good infrastructure. We also get private Wi-Fi, and they give us a username and password to keep it secure. Especially in the Civil department, there are four CAED labs with enough computers, plus a SOM lab, a Geo Technology lab, a Highway lab, and a Concrete Technology lab. They even have separate rooms for all the survey equipment. The food quality here is just average; morning snacks are good, but lunch and dinner are okay. You can find three canteens in college, and there are medical facilities too. The college supports sports and games a lot, but the problem is there's no proper ground for them. So, all vehicles end up parking on the main ground itself.

Admission: Navigating the RVCE admission portal was simple. Verification steps were guided properly, orientation explained campus life, and staff remained supportive throughout.

Academic: Many of our teachers have a doctorate degree, which is good. They are usually easy to talk to, and some of them are also very friendly. Most teaching is fine, but a few teachers just keep changing PPT slides without explaining much, which isn't really useful. The college curriculum got updated recently to keep up with new things. But honestly, it only gives us basic knowledge, and professors don't really guide us for hands-on projects. We do have to make a project every semester end, and this helps us get ready for the job world. Semester exams here are pretty easy; questions mainly come from what's in our notes, so it's not challenging at all. Because of this, the pass percentage is very high, with about 90% of students clearing their exams.

Placement: Talking about placements, our college does a great job. Most students who sit for placements get placed, except for those who plan for higher studies. Last year, the top package was a massive 92 LPA from UIPath, bagged by a student from Information Science, while the lowest was around 3 LPA. Average packages change for different branches; like, for CSE it was 15 LPA and for ECE it was 12 LPA. Top companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Qualcomm, Walmart, EY, KPMG, and Texas Instruments come here to hire. About 30 percent of students also got internships at places like Texas, Microsoft, Samsung R&D, Walmart, Aveva, and Oracle. They offered cool roles like field application engineer, SDE, SWE, and product marketing engineer.

Campus: The Wi-Fi speed here is mostly good, but it sometimes gives trouble connecting when lots of devices are on the same router. Our classrooms are quite okay. They are actually renovating departments, and the updated rooms are really nice with smart boards and green boards, plus good ventilation. You can find many resources in the library, with internet access and computers for everyone to use. Hostel rooms are decent. However, the mess food is just average, and it feels like they don't try hard to make it better. We've even found insects in the food sometimes, which is not good.

Admission: Choosing RVCE for engineering turned out to be a good experience. Counselling schedules were clear, communication was consistent, and the entire process moved without delays.

Academic: I really like about this college is how good the faculty members are. They explain everything so easily that even tough topics become simple to understand. However, the semester exams are a little difficult for us. This is mainly because for each end-semester exam, we have five chapters to prepare, and we also have to manage studying seven subjects. Even so, our college teachers are always there to clear any doubts we have, which is a big help.

Placement: My experience, around 70% of students in our course got placed. I'm doing civil engineering, but honestly, we don't have much information on the salary packages for civil. We also aren't aware of the top companies that come for recruitment. Being 1st-semester students, we have no idea yet about internships or which companies we can apply to. Sorry that I don't have all the details.

Campus: At our college, the facilities are good, but the overall infrastructure is just about average, exactly what we thought it would be. Classrooms, labs, and the library are all well-maintained and good to use. The only big issue is the Wi-Fi; it's quite slow. Hostel life is okay too, with good facilities. The food there is generally fine, but the morning breakfast is seriously bad, and we have no idea why it's always like that. We also share one big ground for all our sports like cricket, kabaddi, football, volleyball, kho-kho, hockey, and throwball.
