RGPV accepts national-level exams such as JEE Main, GATE , and GPAT entrance tests for granting admission to a few courses. UG admissions for B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch, and Integrated courses at RGPV will be granted through JEE Main. The online counseling Round 1 is based on JEE Mains scores for admissions to RGPV BTech, BE, or B. Arch programs are ongoing currently. The Last Date to register for the same is July 23, 2023. The choice filling for admission can be done from July 5- 27, 2023. Merit List for Counselling Round 1 will be released on July 28, 2023. The counselling round Round 2 for RGPV BTech, BE or B. Arch will begin from August 4, 2023. Hence, RGPV Cutoff will be determined soon after first merit list will be released. Also, Polytechnic courses Admission Counselling 2023 registrations are open. The Last date to register is July 16, 2024. The choice filling for admission can be done from July 2, 20, 2024. Merit List for Counselling Round 1 will be released on July 21, 2024.
At the PG level, selection for courses like M.Tech and ME is done based on GATE score. The GATE cut off 2023 is yet to released. For M.Pharm, RGPV accepts GPAT and the cutoff list for the same has not been released. The GPAT 2023 General category expected cut off range is 359-186. For admission to the Polytechnic course, earlier candidates needed to qualify MP PPT but from 2023 and Upcoming years Admissions to Polytechnic Courses will be based on the candidate's score in the 10th Class exam.
RGPV offers admission to the 4 years, full-time B.Tech, BE, 5 years B. Arch and integrated B.Tech + M.Tech courses. JEE Main has two types of cutoffs - qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. NTA releases the JEE Main Cut-Off. JEE Main Qualifying Cut-off for General Category last year was 90.3 while the cut-off for reserved categories ranged from 40-75. Students need to secure 75% marks in aggregate in the 10+2 level examination to be eligible for JEE Main. To be selected for B.E, B.Tech, or B. Arch programs, candidates must score qualified marks so that they match the cut-off scores of JEE Main. For BE and B.Tech papers there are 3 components which are Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. For B.Arch paper there are Mathematics, Aptitude & Drawing.

RGPV M.Tech & M.E Selection Process
For an M.Tech or ME course, students need to hold a Graduation Degree in B.Tech or B.E in related fields from a recognized university. Candidates are required to fulfill this eligibility criterion and also they must secure minimum cut-off marks in GATE entrance test for the selection process at RGPV.

RGPV offers an M.Pharm course and admission to the course is granted based on a valid GPAT score. Candidates must hold the minimum required percentage to meet the cutoff criteria.
