Admission: There are 6 permanent professors in the department, but retired faculty also teach regularly. We get to learn from professors from top colleges too. Lately, 4 new young teachers have joined, adding a mix of experience and fresh ideas. They really put in effort to help every student succeed. Our department is aiming for NAAC grade A with their hard work. The syllabus is advanced compared to other physics programs. They teach using chalk and sometimes PowerPoint, and we have lots of assignments and tests to help us learn.

Placement: There's a placement cell, but honestly, no one really went for placements. Everyone opted for higher studies in different places in India. In my batch, we had 7 at IIT Kanpur, 4 at IIT Madras, 1 at IIT Guwahati, 1 at IISc Bangalore, 1 at HRI, 1 at Delhi University, 1 at Hyderabad Central University, and the rest are doing M.Sc. at other good universities. Just so you know, there were only 21 students in our batch.

Campus: The campus is great with all the facilities you need, and it's a full-time residential setup with food and lodging covered. The labs are top-notch and the environment is well-kept. There's a spiritual vibe here with guidance on healthy living from the teachers. It's hard to put into words what I've gained here, but the students who graduate from here excel not just in academics but also in life skills. The college is now in the top 10 in India according to NIRF 2018. Even though the male-female ratio is off, the college shines in other areas. Overall, it's one of the best places for learning in the country.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They only pick the best students from CSC to teach us. They really care about helping us learn. Classes happen regularly, which is great. Our college became autonomous in 2009 because it's so good. Being autonomous means we can update our syllabus and exams every semester. They make sure our studies stay current with what's happening in the world. Love studying here!

Placement: The English department students at this college have no trouble getting jobs. They get placed in government, media, and private sectors easily. The college doesn't directly arrange placements, except for industrial chemistry students. But don't worry, the placement cell offers courses like CAT or GRE training to help us find jobs.

Campus: Our college in West Bengal has awesome infrastructure. They get funds from RUSA and the government regularly. Every classroom has a projector. There's a special internet kiosk for students to use from 7 AM to 9 PM. Humanities folks have a language lab, and science students have their own labs. It's pretty cool!

Admission: The teachers are super smart here. They're really close to us students. They help us a lot with our studies, so we can pass our exams without stress. Our courses have two semesters every year. It's easy to pass the exams if we study well. The results in the semester exams are awesome. We all get good grades. You just need to get 40% to pass. I think the semester exams are great overall.

Placement: Around half to two-thirds of students land jobs in big companies like ACC, Indian Oil, ONGC, Emami, and more. Even though not many students get placed right after studying here, the department sets us up well for clearing tough exams like IIT JAM, TIFR, GATE, CSIR NET, etc. They hook us up with internships at top places, and pretty much everyone gets one.

Campus: The college and hostel here have awesome facilities. Each department has smart classrooms with Wi-Fi, making it easy for students to study. The labs are super modern, better than other colleges. We've got a big library stocked with all the books we need. The food in the hostel is just okay, not amazing. But there are two canteens on campus for other options. And there's even a medical center here for any health needs.

Admission: The teachers here are really awesome and always ready to help. They make learning the best! The physics department is top-notch in Kolkata. The syllabus is super modern and prepares us well for big exams like JAM, JEST, and TIFR. Plus, everyone passes with flying colors, and the exams are fair.

Placement: Most students here get jobs after graduation, which is awesome! Big companies like Johnson and Johnson come to hire from our college. The placement opportunities are great, and students have good chances to study at top colleges in India and even abroad. It's really promising!

Campus: Living and studying here is great. The dorms are comfy and nicely decorated. I like that they keep things organized and help us make the most of our time. The food is really good, and there's a canteen on campus too.

Admission: The college is seriously top-notch. The professors here are as good as the ones in top universities in India, some are even famous nationwide. The way our courses are set up makes it super easy to ace competitive exams.

Placement: This college doesn't directly help with job placements, but it guides you on how to land a job. I haven't met anyone from here who didn't find a job after graduating.

Campus: The campus is awesome to stay in. There are five hostels - Vinay, Vidya, Vivek, Shree, and Shradhya. We've got two playgrounds, one on campus and one off-campus. The auditorium is cool, and the classrooms are always tidy thanks to the students. Infrastructure here is top-notch!

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful. They've studied at top schools in India and know their stuff. The other staff are nice too. We have 2 exams every year, which seems to work well for everyone. The exams are fair and not too hard.

Placement: Around half of the students in our college find jobs after graduation. Most of the students in chemistry and industrial chemistry end up working in different industries. The average salary for our course is between Rs. 30,000-40,000. Companies like ACC and Ambuja are the popular choices for hiring students from our program. The companies usually offer management roles to the graduates.

Campus: The college has a good infrastructure. We have smart classrooms, strong Wi-Fi, and labs with new equipment. The hostel rooms aren't great, and the food is okay. But we do have a canteen, sports room, and other facilities. Just wish the playground was closer to the college.

Admission: The teachers here were really great. Some had special titles, and others came from top colleges in India and overseas. The courses were awesome and easy to follow. We had a good time learning from them. Each topic in the course was useful for our future studies.

Placement: Around 60-80% of us landed jobs after graduating. The starting salary was around Rs. 30,000-50,000 monthly. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant hired students, along with some government jobs. Out of a class of 60, about 40 students did internships. We were offered roles like manager, HR, and head analytics in top places.

Campus: This college meets all our basic needs well because it's a missionary school. We can't use phones or Wi-Fi here, but we can use the internet on library computers. The hostel is great and the food is good, with options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really great. They help us both in class and out. They're like our second parents, guiding us not just in studies but also in everyday stuff. The exams are pretty challenging compared to other colleges, but the teachers make sure we're ready for them.

Placement: Around half of the students in our course usually find a job after graduation, while the rest go for further studies. The college offers top-notch facilities and supports us well. They really help us pave the way for a successful future. I'm glad I chose to study here.

Campus: Our college has really cool facilities. Each classroom has a projector. The education quality is top-notch. The labs have cool stuff like XRD, photoluminescence instruments, and NMR instruments. The library has around 70,000 books on all kinds of topics. Plus, we have two playgrounds and indoor games like table tennis, carrom, and chess.

Admission: The teachers here are top-notch. They come from great colleges like IIT, Jadavpur University, IIEST, Calcutta University, and more. They know their stuff and have lots of experience. The college does a great job of preparing students - most of us pass entrance exams like IIT JAM, GATE, and others. And last year, one of our best students got 2nd place in GATE nationwide.

Placement: Most students from the industrial chemistry department land jobs after completing their B.Sc. Big companies like ACC, Emami, India Oil, ONGC, and more come here each year to hire students. They usually offer roles like chemist or analyst. The average salary is between 2 to 2.5 LPA. However, many students choose to pursue further studies instead of taking up these jobs.

Campus: The labs here are awesome! There are loads of labs for chemistry PhD students. The computer labs are great too. They even have an internet Kiosk for studying. The library is huge with books on every topic you need. Plus, there's a small library in the hostel for fun reading. The hostels are clean and big, with 5 students in each room. The food is good and healthy, and the canteen has affordable options. A doctor comes to campus for emergencies. And the sports facilities are top-notch! They have 3 volleyball courts, 2 badminton courts, and a big playground for cricket and football. Each hostel even has a table tennis court and carrom boards.

Admission: The teachers in our department are awesome. There's a good balance between teachers and students, so we can talk to them easily. They're always there to help with any issues we have. The courses are interesting and the exams are fair. The only downside is that some new teachers are still learning how to teach.

Placement: Being a B.Sc physics student, there aren't many job opportunities. But we do have a chance to do M.Sc in top Indian institutes. In my batch of 21 students, 6 got into IIT Kanpur, 4 into IIT Madras, 1 into HRI, 1 into IISC Bangalore, and another into IIT Guwahati. Some friends are in Delhi University, Vivekananda University, Hyderabad University, and ISM Dhanbad. We've done well in entrance exams like JAM, JEST, and TIFR.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is top-notch. What I really like is the small class sizes only around 30 students per batch. The labs are great, and the library system is a big plus. We can borrow books for the whole semester, which is super handy. The hostels are nice too. Food is okay, not amazing, but the mess fee is really cheap. Love it here!
