Admission: Overall experience at Roorkee Institute of Technology was positive, with easy online registration, clear counselling schedule, smooth campus verification, helpful staff, and a well managed orientation.

Academic: Semester exams in our college are really strict, like, full of restrictions. Also, the course curriculum is pretty old, so they definitely need to revise that. About the teachers, some are quite helpful, but honestly, some others are not so much.

Placement: This year, our college placements were pretty good, with almost 70 to 80% of students getting placed. The top package was 11 LPA, grabbed by a CSE B.Tech student. Another CSE student named Sourabh Dev got the second highest package of 10 LPA from Quantacus company. But internships were a bit tough, with very few students in our college able to secure them.

Campus: Talking about the campus, our college infrastructure is just okay, nothing great. The Wi-Fi here is also average, you know. Honestly, the food in the mess is very bad, like really bad. Hostel facilities are just average too. But yeah, they do have some cool sports events like 'sorted' and the 'hostel premier league' which is good.

Admission: Merit list release at RIT was on time, counselling was organised, document verification moved smoothly, staff helped with paperwork, and the orientation session gave good clarity for new students.

Academic: The pass percentage is 30% in our college. Our teachers are super helpful and they know everything well. They always make sure we understand things properly and help us a lot. The course curriculum is also very relevant, it gets us ready for the industry. Semester exams are not really tough, and the questions are usually good.

Placement: Around 60-70% of students get placed every year, which is quite good. The top salary offered was 24 LPA, and the minimum package was 7 LPA. Many big companies like Cisco, Amazon, Hawkins, and L&T come to our campus to hire students. For internships, 80% of students also got chances at places like Byju's, TCS, and Tech Mahindra. They offer jobs like software engineering, telecommunication, and different IT field roles, even for electronics and civil engineering branches.

Campus: In our college, things like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are all in good condition. We also have good medical facilities here. Plus, sports and games happen, especially during Sportech. The food though, needs to get better; sometimes it's too much oil, sometimes it's too dry.

Admission: Overall admission journey at Roorkee Institute of Technology felt transparent, with clear counselling registration, patient verification staff, consistent communication, and organised steps till orientation.

Academic: Our college has really good teachers. My master, Mr Shubham sir, teaches math so well. Then there are other teachers like Admit Anwar, and even our directors are very polite. Plus, Mr Gaurav Chaturvedi, who is part of our team, is super good with C language.

Placement: I think this college gives really good chances for us students. The placements here are very good, so that's a big plus. If you are a good student and ready to give your 100% effort, you can totally make your own opportunities. I really suggest students come here and take all the good chances they get.

Campus: Our college has pretty decent infrastructure. We have three buildings here named A, B, and C block, and each block comes with 50 rooms. There's also a canteen which has its own separate building. For staying, both boys' hostels and girls' hostels are available. The boys' hostel is called Bhagirathi Bhawan Circle Nanda Devi. Plus, there is a cricket ground in our college where we all play games.

Admission: Registration at RIT went smoothly, with easy online steps, clear verification instructions, supportive counselling staff, and an orientation that explained the next phase clearly.

Academic: Our college exams are super strict, I tell you. The papers can be anywhere from medium hard to really difficult. When it comes to teachers, some are very good and help a lot, but some are just okay, it depends on how they are. Also, our course curriculum uses old methods. It's not really what the industry wants these days.

Placement: I like most about our college is the placements. Around 70% of students here get placed easily. This year, a girl named Anubhavi from the Computer Science Engineering department got the highest package of 11 LPA. Saurabh Dev also cracked a good one, getting the second-highest package of 10 LPA. Overall, the average package for students here is about 2.5 LPA.

Campus: The college has good infrastructure and Wi-Fi also works well for students. But the mess food, that's a big problem, taste and quality both are very bad. And for summer, classrooms are not at all good because there is no AC provided.

Admission: Admission at Roorkee Institute of Technology felt smooth and stress free, as the counselling staff guided me well through registration and document verification, dates and document requirements were clearly shared, and everything moved according to the announced schedule.

Academic: I like most about my college is how helpful and kind our teachers are. They really know their subjects well and and are super sweet to all of us. When it comes to semester exams, they are not really tough, but yeah, you do have to study. All the exam papers for semesters are made and checked by the university itself.

Placement: From my experience, placements at our college are pretty strong. Like, about 90 percent of students, including those in my course and others, usually get placed. The highest salary someone got was 20 LPA, with the average around 8 LPA and even the lowest being 5 LPA. Companies like TCS and HCL come to hire from our course. Mostly, Data Science is offered in my course. And guess what, 67 percent of interns at Planet Park are actually from our college.

Campus: Our college has really good facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms, all of them have fast internet. The library is also great, with tons of books and separate tables for students to study alone. Hostel rooms and food are just average, nothing special. But the canteen and sports facilities here are quite good.

Admission: Beginning with online application, my admission at Roorkee Institute of Technology progressed smoothly, counselling was structured, verification was hassle free, staff guided clearly, and emails about registration and orientation arrived on time.

Academic: Okay, so the exams here are super strict and tough. They check us like crazy before tests, like we're carrying a bomb instead of just pens. This college is affiliated with Uktech University, but honestly, the university doesn't check papers properly. If you get a backlog, they charge Rs 500. And for applying to recheck your answer sheet, you gotta shell out Rs 3,000.

Placement: The placements here are pretty good. B.Tech and BBA courses just started recently. For B.Tech, the average salary is around 3 LPA, and the top package went up to 10 LPA this year. But for MCA, the salary packages are quite low. Overall, this college is a good choice if you want to do an MBA.

Campus: The hostel facility here is quite good, but honestly, the food isn't that great. We've even submitted applications to change the mess, but nothing really happens about it. Plus, the non-veg mess is not open every day, which can be an issue for some.

Admission: Joining Roorkee Institute of Technology turned out smooth as the portal was easy to use, staff supported well during verification, counselling dates were clearly communicated, and the full onboarding felt organised.

Academic: Our college teachers are really helpful, and they are quite qualified to teach us. Their lectures are also very good because they explain everything clearly. We also have a lot of activities related to our course curriculum. Plus, the college organizes industry visits where we get to go to companies.

Placement: Our college has really good placements, especially for B.Tech CSE and other branches, almost 95% students get placed. The top salary offered was 43 LPA, which is quite high. Many good companies like IBM and Amazon come to our campus for hiring. For B.Tech CSE students, the roles they offer are actually the best ones.

Campus: Talking about my college, all departments here are quite good. Though the facilities overall are decent, the campus infrastructure is actually very poor. Inside my hostel, the facilities are not that good either. The mess food quality is bad, but luckily the canteen food is very good. Medical facilities are also there for us.

Admission: Applying to Roorkee Institute of Technology was simple, the portal worked well, verification staff guided clearly, each step was explained properly, and orientation after admission was informative.

Academic: The course curriculum at our college is quite old-fashioned; I feel like they really need to make some changes to it. Speaking of teachers and facilities, it's a bit of a mixed bag – some are very helpful, but others, not so much, it really just depends on their nature. Exams for each semester are taken very seriously here, though the good thing is that around 80-89 percent of students usually pass.

Placement: In our institute, about 60 to 70 percent of students usually get placed. The average salary package is around 2.5 LPA. The top package this year was 11 LPA, and Anubhavi, a B.Tech CSE student, got that one. For internships, not many students get them, but Varun Badoni got the highest package during his internship.

Campus: Our college has pretty good facilities and infrastructure, especially considering what we pay for it. The Wi-Fi around college is also good. For the hostel, the rooms and all are nice, but the food they give us is just too messy and really bad for both our health and taste. It's a big problem.

Admission: Journey through admission at RIT felt organised from application to final verification, counselling support was good, registration was efficient, and timely merit list updates reduced stress.

Academic: Teachers here are really helpful, and the teaching quality is quite good. All the faculty members are nice people. However, if you opt to pay for extra courses, you get more priority, which is something to keep in mind. The good news is, semester exams are not very tough. You just need to pay attention during class, and you will easily clear them since the passing percentage is just 30%.

Placement: The college placements are okay, with about 10% of students getting jobs through both on-campus and off-campus drives. For on-campus placements, the highest package went up to 12 LPA, but the lowest was around 3 LPA. If you get an off-campus offer, the highest salary can be 15 to 20 LPA, and even the lowest there is usually 3 to 4 LPA. Companies like Adobe, Explorin, and Axis Bank come to recruit. Plus, about 4% of students manage to get internships with IBM, and they offer a cool stipend of 12 LPA.

Campus: Talking about our college facilities, we have Wi-Fi and labs readily available. There's also a library for everyone. Smart classrooms are only for MBA students, which is a bit specific. For sports lovers, we have football, cricket, basketball, and even golf. Now, coming to the food, it's not very good, honestly, and eating it daily in the mess can be tough. Medical facilities are also just okay, nothing too special.

Admission: Entry into Roorkee Institute of Technology felt hassle free, with clear application steps, timely merit list updates, smooth verification during counselling, helpful staff support, and a useful orientation session.

Academic: Syllabus for our B.Tech degree feels a bit old sometimes, mainly because we get our degree from Uttarakhand Technical University, which has an older main syllabus. But the good thing is, some new topics and subjects have been added to what we study here. Also, they have included some extra activities in our course.

Placement: When it comes to placements here, they are pretty good. But the average salary package usually stays around 5 to 6 LPA. Our placement team really pushes to get everyone placed and they also work with many companies to bring us job offers. We also get companies like TCS, Infosys, and Om Logistics visiting our campus for hiring.

Campus: From my experience, the hostel facilities here are pretty good, though the food isn't that great. It's a relief that ragging is totally banned in the hostel. The college is very serious about anti-ragging, and the authorities take strict action if anything like that happens. One thing to remember is that we always need permission to meet our parents or if we want to go outside the college campus.
