Admission: The teachers are okay here. Exams happen when they're supposed to, and they're not too hard. Lots of people pass them. Some of the courses are old-fashioned, and we don't get much hands-on practice like going to real businesses.
Placement: Not a lot of companies come for placements here. But TCS, Vedanta, and Wipro are some that do. They offer salaries between 1-3 LPA, which isn't too high. To get better job options, we need to learn new skills that companies want. This way, we can improve our chances of getting a job off-campus or getting a higher salary.
Campus: The college isn't that great. The building is old and there aren't many resources. The campus is small and doesn't have good facilities for sports or PE classes. The library has old books and there's no proper canteen.

Admission: The teachers at RTC are awesome and always there to help. The exams from Jharkhand University are tough, though. More than half of us end up with backlogs. But the course really gets you ready for jobs in manufacturing and design.
Placement: I did my Diploma in Mechanical at RTC. The placements were pretty good the lowest package was 2 LPA, but the highest went up to 4 LPA. Companies like Hitachi and TCS came for recruitment. Most of us got jobs as machine operators. More than half of my batchmates found placements, which was great.
Campus: The college buildings are okay, but the hostel and mess are not good. I suggest finding a PG instead of staying in the hostel because the food isn't great. However, the canteen food is fine. They have sports and games often, which is cool.

Admission: The teachers here know their stuff. They teach well and get us ready for the industry. We do lots of hands-on activities in class. Most of us pass our exams, around 70%. The course content is spot on.
Placement: I didn't have good placement opportunities in my civil engineering course. Companies didn't offer any salary packages, and there were no internships provided. We had to go look for job placements on our own.
Campus: The college has good infrastructure with labs, a library, and classrooms. It's Wi-Fi enabled. The food in the mess and canteen is tasty and cheap. Plus, there's a playground for cricket, football, and volleyball. Overall, it's a nice place to study.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. They make learning easy. Exams aren't too hard if you pay attention. They run smoothly, and the pass rate is 33%.
Placement: Most of the students in the mechanical department found jobs, around 80%. The highest salary offered was 3.8 LPA, while the average was 3.1 LPA. The lowest was 2.2 LPA. Companies like Tata Motors, Jindal Steel, and Maruti Suzuki hired students. Popular roles were assistant technical engineer and quality supervisor.
Campus: The college has everything we need - Wi-Fi all day, labs with good equipment, comfy classrooms, and a well-kept library. There are 2 campuses to choose from. We never have to worry about electricity. The food in the mess is tasty, and the canteen has air-conditioning. Plus, they organize sports and games activities. It's a great place to study!

Admission: The teachers here all have either PhDs or M.Tech degrees. They teach really well and cover all the topics. The semester exams are tough, with passing marks at 9 out of 20. Each semester, we have 2 mid-term exams. If you fail one, you gotta take the second one. But don't worry, they send the better result to the university.
Placement: Around 30-40% of students get jobs every year after college. The lowest salary offered is around 3 lakhs per year, while the highest can go up to 10 lakhs. Companies like Tata Hitachi, Renault Nissan, and Raise Digital come for placements. We can also do internships on our own if we want. The college also arranges industrial visits for us.
Campus: The college has everything you need - classrooms, labs, library, and even a garden out front. There's also a seminar hall, computer lab, and a cool drawing hall. Plus, Wi-Fi is everywhere, even in the canteen! The hostel is top-notch compared to others in Ranchi. You get Wi-Fi, a mess, and sports facilities like basketball and volleyball. And guess what? Each room has 3 beds. It's awesome!

Admission: The professors here are really helpful. You need at least 50% marks overall to pass. The semester exams are not too hard or too easy, just right. The professors always check if we've done our assignments.
Placement: I want to share that St. Xavier's College in Ranchi has good placement opportunities for some students. Usually, around 20%-30% of students get placed. The average salary is about 1.90 LPA, but it can change based on what you study and where you work. Some big companies that hire from here are TCS, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Accenture, and Cognizant.
Campus: The economics department has classes that cover both theory and how it's used in the real world. They offer electives that show how economists study real-world issues. They also have a 2-year M.A. program in economics.

Admission: The teachers were really helpful and knew their stuff. The quality of teaching was good and the course content was spot on. It prepared us well for the industry. The exams were not too hard, and the pass rate was around 40%.
Placement: Around 30% of students in our course landed jobs after college. The pay ranged from 2 LPA to 5 LPA. Big companies like Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki came for placements. About 20% of students got internships at these companies.
Campus: I really liked the facilities at the college. Wi-Fi worked well everywhere on campus. The labs and classrooms were nice. The library had a lot of books. The hostel was good too. The food in the mess and canteen was tasty. And there were medical facilities on campus too.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They really know their stuff and are always there to help. The teaching is top-notch too. But the course curriculum could use some work to prepare us better for the industry. The exams aren't too tough, and most students pass with about a 55% success rate.
Placement: Around 30% of students here get chosen based on their English skills and other talents. I heard about a girl who landed a 6.5 LPA job offer! The average package is about 3 LPA. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, and Vedanta regularly visit our campus for placements.
Campus: The college campus is great! They have Wi-Fi, labs for Zoology, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and classrooms of different sizes. There's also a library. I don't stay in the hostel because I live in a rented apartment about 3 km away.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really supportive and good. They help you out when you need it. Exams in my semester weren't too hard, and you only needed 35% to pass. The subjects in my course are interesting, and if you study, you'll learn a lot and be prepared for job placements. Overall, the teachers are always there to support you.
Placement: Only a few students got placed, around 10%. The highest salary offered was 5 LPA, while the lowest was 2.9 LPA. Some students landed jobs at TCS and Deloitte, but those were off-campus placements. The college didn't help with placements at these companies. The best offer came from SAP Labs with a 5 LPA package.
Campus: The college had okay infrastructure. There was a library, but no Wi-Fi. No food or canteen either. Sports and games weren't available since it was a tier 3 college. But for students with less money, it was a good choice. One cool thing was the college's location near a pretty lake.

Admission: The teachers at RTCIT really know their stuff and are super helpful. They care about us students and teach well. They help us with our work and projects. How hard the exams are depends on how well we know the stuff.
Placement: I'm part of the 2024 batch studying B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. Around half of us got placed. The lowest package is 2 LPA, and the highest is 5 LPA. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Tata Steel Limited, Intellipat, Mjunction, and Cozezin have visited for recruitment. Only about 5% of students have internships. The roles offered depend on the company and our skills.
Campus: The Wi-Fi works, but the computer labs could use some fixing up. The classrooms are nice and have good air flow. The library has a bunch of books, plus magazines and journals from around the world. They've got separate hostels for guys and girls. The canteen's food is decent for the price, but it's not super clean. Not much going on in terms of sports or games though.
