RV University Reviews & Ratings 2026 – Authentic Student Feedback

Admission: A lot of my professors have Ph.D.s or are working on getting one. They teach us subjects like R programming that are important for industry jobs. The exams aren't too hard, and most of my classmates did well last semester  about 85% passed. The teachers are also really nice and easy to talk to.

Placement: I'm in B.Com and here's my take on placements. The placement rate for B.Com (Hons) is pretty good at around 30%. The highest package is 12 LPA, average is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Deloitte and KPMG are the top companies hiring from our college. Around 60% of students got internships in various roles like accountant, HR, and manager. As for B.Tech (Hons) and engineering, placements are solid too.

Campus: The campus is cool, but they're building more stuff. Wi-Fi and classrooms are really good. The library is big, which is awesome. The food in the canteen is great with MM Foods and Mingos. I'm not into sports, but we have fun games like treasure hunts and escape rooms. All the events are fun too!

Admission: The teachers here are really good, most of them have studied at top colleges like IIT/IIM. The course is great because it's more about practical stuff than just theory. Exams are well-organized and based on what we've learned in class. You can pick what you want to study and skip the stuff that's not important.

Placement: The college and the program are pretty new, only around 3 years old. No batch has been placed yet, but since it's an RV brand, lots of companies are expected to come next year. During the course, many companies, both local and foreign, offer internships  some paid, some unpaid.

Campus: The campus at RV University is pretty new and the facilities are top-notch. The labs have the latest computers and the library has a great selection of books. I don't stay in the hostel, but my friends who do say it's good. Plus, there are plenty of PG options near the campus.

Admission: The faculty here is amazing  they know their stuff and are super prepared. The curriculum is top-notch and gets us ready for the real world. The semester exams can be tough because it's an autonomous University, but they're all done online.

Placement: The placement in our college, especially for our branch, is really good. A lot of seniors have gotten jobs at Google and Stanley Morgan. They've told us about the roles and salary packages too. Big companies like Microsoft, Google, and Stanley Morgan visit our campus for placements every three months, but it's just for our course.

Campus: The facilities for my course are great! Wi-Fi works fine, labs have everything we need, and classrooms are always clean. The new library on campus is huge and amazing. As for the hostel, the food could be better, but they do provide washing machines, a gym, and other stuff. Hostel students even get their own parking space if they have a vehicle.

Admission: The teachers here are really great and know their stuff. The course prepares us well for the industry. The exams are tough, but if you study hard, you'll pass. The teaching is good overall.

Placement: The highest salary you can get is 22 LPA. Infosys hires a lot of students from my course, and 80% of us got placed. We can choose from different specializations, which is awesome. On average, students get a 12 LPA package.

Campus: The new RVU building is great. The classrooms have smart boards and nice furniture. The labs are well-equipped with all the instruments we need. Also, there are charging sockets in all classrooms, which is super convenient for B.Tech students to charge their laptops.

Admission: The professors here are really smart and friendly, but some aren't great at teaching. There are a few who are amazing though, and I really enjoy their classes. The courses are super practical and relevant, which is awesome.

Placement: Placements aren't super popular here. One senior landed a job at Deloitte, and a couple of classmates got offers from EY. But many are hesitant because of recent issues. The pay ranges from 3 Lacs to about 10 Lacs.

Campus: The classrooms all have smart boards or projectors. The new library is huge and has private booths. I don't stay in the hostel, but my friends say it's not great.

Admission: The faculty here are amazing! They have loads of experience, which is great. We're really lucky to have such awesome teachers at this college. It's way better than some other places with not-so-great faculty. All the teachers here are top-notch. We're super lucky to be studying here!

Placement: I'm in my third year at college, so I'm in my fifth semester. We haven't had any students graduate from my batch yet, so I can't say much about placements. I heard that RV College of Engineering had 93% on-campus placements last year.

Campus: Our college has amazing facilities and infrastructure that I haven't seen anywhere else. The faculty members are experienced and teach really well. It's a great place to be!

Admission: The teachers here are super knowledgeable and helpful. They're really nice and easy to talk to. The classes aren't like the usual ones from VTU, but they're still great. They focus on real-world stuff to get us ready for work. We have to do two projects each semester, which is cool. The tests aren't a walk in the park, but that's okay. Oh, and they give out scholarships based on merit every semester.

Placement: The B.Tech course at RV University just started, and the third-year students are the oldest batch. Right now, some students are doing internships, but it's not going too well. However, the college has a good reputation because of RV College of Engineering, so things should improve in the future.

Campus: The classrooms are huge and each desk has a charger. There are cool places like a sports complex, health center, and startup incubation center. The campus has three canteens, one of them with special non-veg and chaat options. The hostel food is good and the hostels are safe with strict visitor rules.

Admission: The teachers here are great. Exams are pretty challenging and they're done in a unique way compared to VTU. We had a test on Hackerank and used a secure exam browser for C programming. It makes it tough to cheat. The college is strict about exams, classes, and the course structure.

Placement: The placements at our college are awesome! We're linked with rvce, and everyone knows they're great at getting jobs. The highest salary offered was 24 LPA, while the lowest was 5 LPA. Around 75% of students landed internships here. Companies like Samsung, TCS, and other big names often recruit from our college. It's a great place to kickstart your career!

Campus: The college has great infrastructure, with a nice mess, canteen, and Wi-Fi. It feels modern, and we even share grounds with RV College. This is awesome for sports lovers since they have great sports facilities. Plus, there are plenty of extracurricular activities to get involved in. Overall, the sports equipment is top-notch.

Admission: The course is really useful for learning. If you put in the effort, it's great. Exams are okay, with a high pass rate of 95%. If you attend classes regularly, you should do well. The subjects cover a lot of important topics. It helps you figure out what you want to do in the future.

Placement: Our batch is the first one. Companies are starting to visit us now. They mentioned that the placements are connected with RVCE. I'm currently in my 5th semester, so I'm curious to see how things go in the 6th semester when we're looking for full-time jobs. Can't wait to see how it all turns out for us!

Campus: The Wi-Fi and stuff here are pretty good. The library is on the smaller side, but they're building a new one soon. There are a couple of hostels on campus. Some of them are well-maintained, and the food is okay. One hostel is really nice but it's off-campus. Maintenance overall is average.

Admission: The teachers here are really good and know their stuff. I'd rate the teaching as a 4 out of 5. The course content is spot on and teaches you a lot. The semester can be tough, especially with our 70/30 split between CIE and final exams. It can get a bit stressful, but overall it's doable.

Placement: A bunch of students got placed in placements, which was cool. In our class, we have around 120 students, and many of us got internships. I don't know the exact top companies that hire, but there are definitely a lot. Not sure about the highest or lowest salary packages offered, though.

Campus: The library here is really nice and cozy. They're doing some construction, so the facilities are pretty good, like a 4 out of 5. The hostel has good medical help and the sports scene is cool too. We have this big event every year that the clubs organize. It's a lot of fun and super enjoyable!
