SUSAHS - Additional Hostel Services and Policies
The hostel fees mentioned include mess charges, providing students with meals during their stay. A refundable security deposit is required: INR 10,000 for non-AC rooms and INR 20,000 for AC rooms. Every resident benefits from a complimentary laundry service allowing up to 20 washes annually, each handling loads up to 8 kgs, facilitated by fully automatic laundry machines.
Fees are charged on a per person, per annum basis and are valid from 1st August to 31st May each academic year. For first-year students, boys can avail accommodation only in the Vivekananda Hostel, while girls are housed in Sarojini and Mandela Girls Hostels. Accommodation for second-year and senior students is subject to availability as per guidelines from the university's Hostel Administration (IHA), which are updated periodically.
Hostel seats are limited and allotted on a strict first come, first served basis, so early application is advised to secure a room.
