Admission: Admission at Shivaji College progressed smoothly, with the CSAS portal making preference filling simple. Seat allotment was followed by quick document verification, helpful staff support, online fee payment, and an orientation that eased the transition.
Academic: The college curriculum is pretty good and matches what the industry looks for, so it helps students get ready for jobs. Our teachers are also very good; they are helpful, qualified, and have deep knowledge. They make sure we understand things easily and remember them. For exams, there is only one main test at the end of each semester, and they are not super tough. You can pass them easily if you study hard.
Placement: Talking about placements, our college does pretty well for UG programs, with a 21.1% placement rate. The top salary someone got was 24 LPA, which is great, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Big names like Deloitte, Wipro, EY, KPMG, ICICI, and Zomato visit our campus for hiring. They mainly offer positions in financial analysis and financial accounting roles.
Campus: Shivaji College has amazing facilities for students. We've got a canteen, an AC library, a computer lab, and a big ground. All classrooms also come with fans. For health, there are medical facilities, and we can play many sports and games. The food in our canteen is good and doesn't cost much. Plus, the whole college campus has Wi-Fi access.

Admission: Overall joining experience remained straightforward, supported by a smooth verification portal, cooperative staff during physical checks, clear counselling responses, and stress-free registration.
Academic: Our teachers here really put in their best effort to teach us. Also, the course curriculum feels relevant and useful. Coming to exams, they are not too difficult, which is a good thing. They are pretty strict about attendance though, you absolutely need to have 67% attendance to be allowed to sit for the exams. For passing in a semester, 33% marks is okay, but to get promoted to the next year, you basically need to score around 65% overall.
Placement: Our college has pretty good placements. Most students, like 80-85% of us, actually get jobs. The highest salary someone got was about 14-15 LPA, and the average salary is around 6-7 LPA for sure. Big companies like Apple and Bank of America come here to hire for our course, which is a big thing. They offer roles like lab technician and laboratory manager. Also, our placement cell really puts in a lot of effort. They help around 5 to 10 students get internships and always bring us many job opportunities.
Campus: Our labs here are seriously big; just the chemistry department has more than three labs all by itself. Actually, our whole college campus is really huge, even bigger than some colleges you find in DU. I feel like our college is much better than even those bigger DU colleges. Just so you know, our college doesn't have its own hostel.

Admission: Process at Shivaji College felt well-organised, thanks to a user-friendly registration portal and efficiently managed verification slots. Timely communication around merit lists and counselling, along with supportive staff, made joining stress-free.
Academic: In our college, they give good practical knowledge, which is really helpful. The teachers here are quite experienced and always ready to help students. Though, sometimes they give way too many assignments, which can be a bit irritating. About exams, the pattern is pretty simple. We don't have those mid-semester tests, only the main semester exams and a few class tests. Passing these exams isn't too hard, you can do well even by studying closer to the exam dates.
Placement: It comes to job opportunities, it depends on your course. For B.Com students, or those in similar courses, there are good chances to get placed. In 2024, the highest package someone got was around 24 LPA. Students from other courses also have options to go for internships. However, for B.A. students, there aren't many placement chances because most of them choose to prepare for UPSC or other competitive exams instead.
Campus: College has pretty good infrastructure, and it's a nice place overall. You'll find Wi-Fi in the library, and some of our classrooms also have AC. We have sports facilities too, and there's a medical clinic right on campus for any emergencies. The only thing is, there's no hostel facility inside the campus. But don't stress, you can easily find good flats and PGs near the college for decent prices.

Admission: Handling of admission steps felt efficient, as online registration and physical verification were managed well. Staff addressed merit list and fee-related queries quickly, followed by a clear orientation.
Academic: Our teachers at Shivaji College are doing well, I feel. They are very passionate and also quite calm when dealing with students. The teachers talk gently and always help us solve our problems. Also, the examinations at Shivaji College are conducted very strictly.
Placement: I'm a 2nd-year student, and I actually joined some intern programs from Shivaji's placement cell. They felt quite real and very useful. Shivaji is an off-campus college, so their placement cell mostly helps 3rd-year students get internships. But from what I saw, if students have the right skills, the college definitely gives them chances and opportunities.
Campus: Course has labs, and I think they are pretty good. But I feel our Computer Science department should also include field trips for students. Other departments already do this, and it would really help us CS students get a real idea of what is actually happening in our industry.

Admission: Admission through the CSAS portal felt systematic, with easy application tracking, smooth verification at college, quick fee payment, and clear pre-orientation communication.
Academic: Our college teachers are very knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is amazing because they really understand students. The curriculum for this course is very relevant, and it actually prepares us well for the industry. College semester exams are usually moderate, not too hard, and the passing percentage criteria are the same across all DU colleges. My faculty members are quite serious about this course because they always say it's super technical and very important for a career in software.
Placement: At our college, around 60% of students manage to get placed every year. The salaries are decent, with the lowest package being 3 LPA and the highest going up to 8 LPA. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, and Intel come here to hire. Also, half of the students, around 50%, get internships through the university itself. Our college generally offers chances to work with really high-tech companies, with roles like heading the CPU checking at HP being offered. And for those students who don't get placed right away, the college makes sure to teach them how to do smart work, not just hard work, which is super helpful.
Campus: The infrastructure here is really good, always top-notch. My college is off-campus, so there is no hostel facility for students. We also have a low number of students studying here, not many are enrolled. But the college canteen food is super tasty and healthy, which is a big plus. Also, for all Shivaji College students, medical facilities and sports are completely free of cost.

Admission: Pathway to admission felt uncomplicated, with timely merit list release, smooth verification, supportive registration staff, and clear communication from counselling to orientation.
Academic: Teachers here are quite good, very helpful, and they really know their subject. The teaching quality is amazing actually. Our course syllabus is totally relevant and it makes us ready for the industry life. Semester exams happen here, and it's pretty easy to pass if you just go through previous year questions. Almost 90% students pass and score good grades that way.
Placement: For my course, the placements are pretty good, with 90% of students getting placed. About half of us, around 50%, also got internships, mostly in tech companies. When it comes to salary, the highest package someone got was 26 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average package was 5 LPA. Top companies like Studify and Recurters come to hire from our course. We get different kinds of job offers, including tech-related roles and many management positions too.
Campus: About the campus, the infrastructure is not that great, actually it's pretty basic, like most things are just functional. My college doesn't even have a hostel facility. The canteen food is okay, like, it's not bad but not super good either, just average. But for all Shivaji College students, medical facilities are completely free of cost, which is a good thing. Plus, they also offer sports activities.

Admission: Admission experience stayed smooth despite minor waiting during verification, as staff cooperation, timely communication, and a helpful orientation ensured clarity at every step.
Academic: The faculty for my course are pretty good, I can tell you. My course is also really good because it gets you ready for industry jobs. Almost all students, about 99%, pass and get good percentages. Exams here are usually average difficulty, not too hard. I think it's because of how the exam staff handle things, like their workload or sometimes even strikes.
Placement: Last year, the highest package offered was 24 LPA, and a B.Sc. APS with CS student got it. The lowest package was 2.3 LPA. Around 50% of the students got placed overall, with De Shaw being the top company. I also know that about 10% of students found placements at Studyfy. Oh, and you have to maintain 66.67% attendance, it's a must.
Campus: Our college has really good infrastructure, even with one new and two older buildings. Sports and games here are also quite good. For food, the canteen is just average, but there is a mess facility too. Medical facilities are available which is nice. The only main problem is that there is no hostel here.

Admission: Completion of admission formalities happened seamlessly, with prompt merit list release, efficient verification, supportive staff, and counselling that made joining hassle-free.
Academic: In my college, the teachers are really good. They know a lot about our subjects and are always ready to help. Their teaching is also great; if you pay attention in class, you won't struggle to understand anything. Our course curriculum is spot on, very relevant. It's designed to make us ready for jobs in the industry, which is a big plus. Exams are usually of a moderate level, not too hard. And the best part is, almost 95% of students pass.
Placement: About placements in my Sanskrit course, I can tell you that 70% of students got placed. The lowest salary offered was 3 LPA, and on average, students got packages between 4 LPA and 5 LPA. Many companies visit our college for recruitment. Top companies like Studify, Recurters, and Project Banana come here. Also, there are many more companies that visit, but for around 40% of these, we don't always know their names.
Campus: What I like is that all the facilities here are pretty good. The teachers and other staff are also nice, they behave well with students. Each classroom has a projector which makes understanding things much easier. Our college does not have a hostel, but you can find many PGs close by. Plus, medical, sports, and game facilities are also available in good condition.

Admission: Overall experience during admission remained smooth, as the online portal was easy to use and document verification was handled efficiently. Updates on cut-offs and fee payment were shared clearly and on time.
Academic: How good the teachers and staff are. They're all very qualified and know their stuff, always helping us clear our doubts. The course curriculum is very up-to-date and helps us get ready for jobs. And semester exams aren't hard if you go to class properly, you'll pass easily.
Placement: I've noticed about our college is how active the internship and placement cell is. They hold an orientation session pretty often, like every 10 days. Big companies such as Google, Deloitte, Wipro, Tata, Paytm, and Byju's come here for hiring students. The average salary package for students is 6 LPA, but the highest one went all the way up to 24 LPA.
Campus: Our college facilities are quite good. The sports complex is really big and spacious, it's A-one for sure. We also have a big library where you can find all kinds of books easily. Labs here are well-equipped and have everything needed. Some classrooms also come with AC. The canteen food is good and fresh, though it can be a little expensive sometimes.

Admission: Flow of the admission cycle stayed clear, with punctual merit list publication and efficient verification. Staff support during registration and orientation helped simplify each stage.
Academic: The English department teachers are really good. They help us a lot with our studies and guide us properly. If we have any doubt about our exams or lessons, they explain everything very clearly. For the semester exams, everything comes from what was taught. So, the passing percentage is quite high here.
Placement: Placements here usually bring good offers. For my course, most of the main jobs are for content writers and social media content creators. They also have roles in B.Com and BBA fields, which is nice if you want their help. Overall, the placement cell is quite helpful, though I personally don't know much about the B.Com and BBA roles.
Campus: English department classrooms are really good. They are well-built and have nice fresh air coming in. The rooms are big, and the chairs are super comfy. I really like the building's color; it looks modern and stylish. Also, the floors are made very strong. It's easy to find your classes in these rooms. But for the old building, finding rooms can be a bit tricky.
