Admission: The teachers at our college were awesome. They were always there to help, knew their stuff, and never played favorites. The courses didn't really match up with what's happening in the business world. It felt like they were the same as what other colleges in West Bengal are teaching. But they didn't focus much on real-world industry stuff.
Placement: A lot of us tried applying for jobs off-campus since the companies that came to recruit were mostly offering non-technical roles. Being in the 4th graduating batch, there weren't many companies coming in for placements. I'm not sure about the salary packages they were offering to students though.
Campus: The college has awesome infrastructure. The boys' hostel is good, but girls have to stay in a hostel not owned by the college. Food quality needs improvement. There's a clinic on campus. The library is full of books and has a nice vibe.

Admission: The teachers are super helpful. You can go to them anytime you have questions or don't understand something. They're really smart and know a lot about their subjects.
Placement: There are plenty of companies that come to our college for job opportunities. It's up to you to put in the effort to land a job. You need to show what you're capable of to secure a job. The chances of getting placed are really high. On average, the salary offered is around 4-5 Lacs per year, which is a decent amount for starters.
Campus: The college has great facilities. They have well-equipped labs with all the necessary equipment. The library is awesome, with lots of books, magazines, and fast Wi-Fi. There's even a medical room in case someone gets sick. And don't forget about the games area! You can play table tennis, pool, and carrom there. Plus, there's space outside to play cricket or football. The canteen serves good quality food at a fair price. Overall, it's a cool place to study and hang out.

Admission: The mechanical department has really experienced faculty and staff. The workshop is great with all the lab facilities and machines you need. The teaching staff there is awesome, and the workshop is in a big space. Plus, the college has VNC, CNC, Refrigeration, and Thermal lab facilities too.
Placement: Placements in the mechanical department at this college are not good. Students pay for placement, but there are no companies coming to campus. The placement cell is really bad because there are no experienced staff. The Chairman seems more focused on money than on student's futures.
Campus: The college building and classrooms are great. But the playground is really bad, and there's not much open space on campus. There's no hostel at the college. The road to the college has been in bad shape for the past 7 years, even when I was a senior.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They're always there to help us out, support us, and give us motivation. I really like all the faculty members. The course curriculum is spot on and prepares us well for the industry.
Placement: Most students got placed here, around 60%. The pay ranges from 2.5 LPA to 10 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Jio, Amazon, and Accenture came for placements. Lots of options for jobs here!
Campus: The college has got Wi-Fi, digital labs, and a digital library which I find super helpful. The classrooms are nice too. The hostel is good and the food is not bad at all. They have good medical facilities and the faculty members are really helpful. I also like that they have outdoor games like football and cricket. Overall, it's a good college in a nice location.

Admission: In the mechanical engineering department, the faculty members are really great and super helpful. All the teachers know their stuff and are fantastic. If you're into mechanical engineering, I'd totally recommend this place for learning.
Placement: The placement for CSE, ECE, and EE departments is okay, they really try to help students get jobs. It's important for students to also work hard. However, Civil and Mechanical departments don't have good placement. Sometimes, the same people keep getting hired during recruitment.
Campus: The infrastructure is okay at my college, especially in the mechanical engineering department. If you're looking to study mechanical engineering at a private institute in West Bengal, this college is a great choice. The professors are really helpful and dedicated to their students.

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced and friendly. They come from top colleges like IITs and NITs. They use modern teaching methods, which is cool. There's a special team for placements and industrial training. The college is linked with West Bengal University of Technology.
Placement: The placements at the college are alright for most departments, but they're really good for computer and electronic ones. Big companies like BluePipes, Data64, and TCS come for interviews and offer decent opportunities. It's not super amazing, but it's good for students who work hard. There are also off-campus interviews which is cool.
Campus: The infrastructure here is really good. The library has fast Wi-Fi and lots of books. The labs are well-equipped too. You can only use the medical facilities during campus hours. And there's a cool common room for games and sports.

Admission: The teachers at this college really know their stuff and are super helpful. The lab teachers are also great at guiding us. I remember doing an experiment four times in one day, and they never once told me to stop. They even helped me understand it better. I used to call them at night with questions, and they were always friendly and happy to help out.
Placement: Many students in my batch found jobs after college. I was lucky enough to secure a placement too. Our college has a good track record of helping students find jobs. Just make sure to focus on your studies if you want to land a job easily. It can be challenging if your grades aren't up to par.
Campus: The library here is massive! They've got tons of books, plus free Wi-Fi for studying. You can even grab newspapers in different languages. And guess what? They've got loads of comic books too, perfect for taking a break from all the studying. Only downside? No on-campus hostel, but hey, you can always find off-campus housing nearby.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and know their stuff. You might not get much real-world experience from the college, though. You gotta find that on your own. The student-teacher ratio is pretty decent. Both the departmental and non-departmental teachers are nice and really know their stuff. They're experts in their subjects.
Placement: Don't count on getting any help with placements at this college. The Training and Placement Office (TPO) isn't helpful. You won't see big companies here, just some local call centers and small IT firms. They do hold pool campus drives sometimes, but be aware that there are rumors of fake companies being brought in.
Campus: The college's infrastructure is pretty good, I'd say 8 out of 10. They've got nice labs, classrooms, library, grounds, hostels, and a good canteen. You'll find all the facilities you need here. Everything is pretty modern since the college is 9 years old. The hostel was awesome when I was there.

Admission: The professors here are really nice and helpful. They all have PhDs or at least M.Tech from good colleges. In my electrical engineering course, there are six teachers. The ratio of students to teachers is about 10 to 2. We also get to learn about the industry from our business and humanities professors. They always keep us up to date. The college follows the MAKAUT syllabus, which is great and well-covered.
Placement: I got two jobs through college placements. One at Absolute Insurance Surveyors and Loss Assessors Private Limited as a process executive engineer, and the other at Axis Bank as a business development executive. I was offered a monthly package of Rs. 15,000 in both places. Our college has a good placement cell with two training and placement officers who work hard to get everyone placed. In my batch (2017), over 60% of the students got placed in companies like Infosys, TCS, Absolute Group, Axis Bank, and more. The highest salary offered was five lacs per year, and the average was 1.80 lacs per year. The roles offered were IT analyst, software engineer, process executive, telecom engineer, civil engineer, sales engineer, software developer, etc. In previous batches, around 60-70% got placed. Almost all students got internship opportunities, with some interning at companies like NTPC, Power Grid, Wipro, and Ambuja Group. Only a few students got a stipend during their internships.
Campus: The college's facilities are pretty good, but they could use some more stuff. The library is awesome and has free Wi-Fi. All the classrooms are new and nice. We even have a nurse on campus. The faculty rooms are cool. We've got two coaches for sports like table tennis, badminton, cricket, and football. And there's a big playground too. The labs have all the equipment we need. Food in the canteen is tasty and affordable. Oh, and there's a hostel just 1 km away from the college.

Admission: The teachers here are really good. They're qualified and always ready to help us out. Their way of teaching is unique and advanced. Sometimes they use PowerPoint and it's really helpful. Our college also arranges industrial visits every year which are super useful for us.
Placement: The job placements at our college are really good. Big companies like Byjus, Amazon, Tata, and Ashok Leyland come to hire students every year. Around 70% of students get job offers in their field. Our college is one of the top engineering colleges in West Bengal.
Campus: The college has great facilities. The faculty members are really good at their jobs and are friendly. They are experts in their fields. We have Wi-Fi in the college too. There's also a library, medical services, and sports facilities available.
