Admission: The faculty here is awesome. They really prepare us well for the industry. They help us improve our skills and take us on industrial visits. I feel lucky to have such knowledgeable teachers.
Placement: I really like the electrical engineering program at our college. I'm studying B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, and I think it's a great department. The faculty here is top-notch for all courses. I've noticed that the electrical department has more value compared to CSE, and there are lots of job placements in EEE.
Campus: The rooms in the hostel are pretty good. It's a great place to study peacefully. The college is awesome for sports, ranking in the top 20. Students are really active in sports and other activities. The only downside is the food, everything else is great.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful and they make sure we understand the important stuff. They prepare us well for the industry by giving us practical knowledge. The semester exams are not too hard because of the subject. You need to get at least 75% to pass. The exams are different for each department depending on the course you're in.
Placement: Around 60% of students in my course got placed, which is pretty good. Biomedical students get the highest salary package, while electrical and electronics engineering students get the lowest. Computer Science and Business Systems students get an average salary package. Our college gets recruited by companies like TCS. About 75% of students land internships in TCS and other companies.
Campus: The department has good infrastructure with a library, clean classrooms, a sports ground, and games. The hostel for girls and boys is of good quality. Each department has its own canteen where they provide decent food.

Admission: The mechanical course at this college is really helpful. The teachers in the mechanical department are super nice. You gotta work hard to get good grades, but it's worth it. I had a great time in college and won't forget it. The staff are friendly and explain the subjects well. They even chat with us about personal stuff sometimes.
Placement: The campus gets visits from IT companies for placements, and they train us well for placements. So far, only three main companies came to hire us. The college really focuses on giving us a good education. The professors here are well-prepared and put in a lot of effort to help us understand and score well.
Campus: The college has a nice setup with plenty of trees around. Everything is kept clean and tidy. They've made some good improvements to the campus, especially the labs. The equipment is in good condition too. Overall, the college's infrastructure is really good.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. They understand how students think and teach in a way that makes sense. If you're struggling, they'll give you extra help. They make even the hardest subjects seem easy. That's why our college has a high pass rate compared to others nearby.
Placement: By the end of the 3rd year, campus interviews start rolling in. Most companies are BPOs, though. I had about 4 or 5 IT company interviews during my time there with decent pay. Around 90% of students got placed. Salaries ranged from Rs. 10K to Rs. 40K. The top roles were software developers, while some got roles in BPO non-voice processes.
Campus: When I was at the college, there was no Wi-Fi on campus. But I heard they fixed it later. The labs were good, classrooms were fine, and the library had lots of books. There are sports, but not enough trainers. Students have to train by themselves.

Admission: The teachers here are really nice and super smart. They do a great job teaching us. Our department's teachers are especially friendly compared to others. They even have extra classes for students who need help. They also organize meetings for parents and teachers. On average, the teachers get 85%.
Placement: The job opportunities for CSE and IT students are pretty good. Big companies like Zoho, IBM, Infosys come to our college for placements, but not everyone gets a job. Last year, 70% of ECE students got placed, and in 2014, all 15 IT students got jobs. IT students also get a lot of chances for internships, and they have special training classes twice a week.
Campus: The college has great infrastructure with free Wi-Fi for students, but there's a 1gb limit per day. The labs are good, and the classrooms are renovated and nice. Each classroom has CCTV. The campus is cool with lots of trees. There are two cricket grounds and a gym for sports. The library is big and the hostel rooms are decent.

Admission: I'm disappointed in this college because they don't focus on teaching well, just on how to pass with a high grade. Good education is what leads to a good grade, not just the curriculum. Overall, it's just an average college in my opinion.
Placement: The education here isn't great. The campus is just okay, and there aren't many job opportunities. I feel like there are better colleges in Chennai than SKR Engineering College. But the staff is really nice and helpful, which makes it an okay place to study.
Campus: The labs and classrooms at this college are not great. The restroom is also not well-maintained. Hostel food isn't good either. The library doesn't have subject-specific books, they don't take care of the books, and the library overall isn't managed well.

Admission: In the beginning, the faculty was awesome super friendly and experienced. But when COVID hit, the number of faculty members dropped a lot. It was tough for us students back then.
Placement: The job opportunities at this college are really bad. No one helps us find jobs or tells us about companies. It's disappointing for us students. They lied to us when we started - they said all the older students got jobs, but that wasn't true.
Campus: The classroom is pretty basic, nothing special. This college is old and doesn't have Wi-Fi. But the library is nice. The hostel is okay, and the food there is good. Just remember, there's no canteen on campus. In case of an emergency, you'll have to leave the college grounds.
