Admission: Observing the admission process from start to finish showed professional handling, from initial counselling registration to final document submission. Merit list updates were timely, and the administrative team addressed all questions during verification, making onboarding easy.

Academic: Exams in our college are pretty easy. You can score around 8 CGPA easily if you just study a night before. The faculty here is great, they teach us really well. But sometimes, since most teachers are Odia, they start talking in Odia during class.

Placement: At our college honestly placements are not that great. You really have to be exceptional to actually land a job. Most of the time, only big companies that hire many people or small startups come for placements. To even get selected, you need a very high CGPA, like more than 8.2 to 8.5. Even with a good score of 8 CGPA, you can expect a salary package of just 3-4 lakh per year.

Campus: College has a pretty big campus, around 50-60 acres. But even with all that space, you won't find many grounds, just one basketball court and an indoor badminton court. The mess food here is also just okay, nothing great. They usually serve Odia dishes four days a week. Also, one rule is that you can't go out of the college gate after 8 PM, which is quite strict.

Admission: Expecting chaos initially, applying to SOA instead felt organized. The online application was simple, counselling schedules were well-communicated, document verification was thorough but quick, and registration with orientation felt like a smooth transition due to helpful staff.

Academic: In my college, the teachers are quite helpful and they know a lot about their subjects. The teaching quality is really good. The course syllabus is very up-to-date and helps us get ready for jobs. Semester exams are not very difficult if you just pay attention in class. You only need to keep up with your assignments and attendance, and passing becomes easy. The passing percentage is 6 CGPA.

Placement: Placements are pretty good here with almost 80% of students getting jobs. The average salary package is around 3 to 4 LPA, but if you study hard, you can even get up to 11 to 13 LPA, which is the highest. For internships, big companies like Microsoft, Salesforce, and TCS visit our campus. Most of the time, they offer developer roles, but freshers also get consultancy and tester positions sometimes.

Campus: Everything at our college is quite good. We have a nice library where students can study and find books. The classrooms are also very near, which is convenient. When it comes to food, there's a mess and a canteen available, and the food quality there is okay, with the canteen having different items. Also, we have medical help and sports facilities ready for use. So, you can say everything is well managed.

Admission: Entering SOA University through the admission process felt straightforward, as the application form was simple and counselling well-organized. Document verification went smoothly, communication about merit list and registration steps was clear, and orientation proved informative.

Academic: Most people here are really helpful. They guide us not just in studies but also about choosing companies for our future. I even got 3 job offers and talked to some staff members about which one to pick, and they helped me a lot. But, a small number of teachers are rude and not helpful at all, so you should be ready for that too. Also, the course syllabus is a bit old compared to what companies need these days, so it's good to learn other things by yourself.

Placement: For anyone looking for good placements, I would definitely tell them to consider this college, especially for B.Tech (CSE or CSIT). Around 95% of students from these courses get placed which is pretty good. Top companies like Microsoft, Service Now, DE Shaw, EightFold AI, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Capgemini visit our campus for hiring. The salary packages can go from 3.3 LPA all the way up to 40 LPA in my field. A lot of my friends also got good internship offers and pre-placement offers (PPO) from various companies. About 60% of students get these offers, and for others, it is direct full-time employment (FTE).

Campus: The classrooms here are really good, we don't have any issues with them. When it comes to hostels, the older ones like BH-6 or BH-5 might be missing some things, but it's not a huge deal. On the other hand, the newer hostels are super nice, almost like hotel rooms. So, if you plan to stay in a hostel, definitely try to get into one of the newer ones. The mess food is also quite good. I've stayed both in the college hostel and a PG, and I can say they give you more than what they ask for, especially for the food.

Admission: Getting admission in SOA was surprisingly straightforward. The SAAT counselling process went smoothly, and the merit list was published on time. Document verification was quick, and staff assisted well during registration. Clear communication made the whole journey from application to orientation quite simple.

Academic: In our college, the teachers are really helpful. They support us with our studies and also help everyone to build good careers on campus. Even though semesters can be challenging, our teachers are good at grading, which helps us get good CGPA scores. The passing percentage is 50%.

Placement: At ITER, it's a well-known engineering college in Odisha and the placements here are really strong. Around 80% of my batch has already gotten jobs with good salary packages. The highest one reached 34 LPA, which is awesome. Many big multinational companies come to our campus for recruitment drives. They offer various things like internships, PPOs, and even direct PPOs. TCS has been the top company hiring from our college. I really want to thank my college and especially our placement teachers who always guided us and helped us secure these opportunities.

Campus: Our college has really good infrastructure. We have good Wi-Fi, and all our facilities are kept in nice condition. Classrooms are properly looked after, and we even have smart classrooms. For food, it is good quality. Plus, there are lots of sports facilities, both inside and outside, and many cultural events happen here.

Admission: Experiencing admission at SOA University was surprisingly efficient, with a well-organized online application and counselling sessions. Clear instructions for document verification made registration smooth, and staff guided us effectively through each step until orientation, giving a good start.

Academic: In my college, the curriculum is not very hard, just kind of medium level. If a student pays attention to what teachers are teaching, scoring good marks is definitely possible. Every academic year, we have four exams in total: two mid-semester and two end-semester exams. These exams, both mid-sem and end-sem, usually happen around every 3-4 months. The teacher-to-student ratio is not that great here. Some teachers are super helpful, but honestly, some are not. For me, the calculus teacher is the best one.

Placement: My college has really good internship programs from many organizations and companies. These internships help students show what they know and get good experience, which is very helpful for getting better placements later on. When it comes to placements, students become eligible to sit for them from the 6th semester. Big companies like Amazon, TCS, Deloitte, Accenture, and Microsoft have come to our campus for hiring. I am currently in my 3rd semester, so I don't have much more info about the placements myself yet.

Campus: Our college, some hostel rooms are really good, but honestly, others are quite bad. It is a bit strange that a three-sharing non-AC room costs the same as a four-sharing one. Also, they do not allow water coolers, so summers get very hot without them. The food quality is really poor here; you basically have to eat outside if you want good food. Despite these issues, campus life is generally good. We have many clubs for different interests and social groups that help people. Lots of cultural programs happen, which is nice, but a big downside is that there are no fests. Our library has a good number of technical books. Classrooms are spacious and have all the digital updates. The laboratories are well-lit and airy too. For sports, we have cricket grounds, a volleyball court, and a badminton court available.

Admission: Proceeding with admission at SOA felt streamlined, as clearing SAAT was followed by a clearly communicated counselling schedule. Document verification was thorough yet quick, staff guided me well through fee payment, and the initial onboarding went smoothly overall.

Academic: The teachers here are super helpful to students. They have so much knowledge and teach things in a really awesome way. Because of them, we get ready for management training (MT) way beyond what we thought possible. Talking about exams, they are not too hard if you focus well on your studies.

Placement: Attending this college for this professional course is a great idea, as there's really no limit to who can join. It definitely helps you push your career to the next level. For placements, the highest package offered was 8 LPA, but how much you get totally depends on your skills and how you carry yourself. The top companies that recruit from here include Taj, Oberoi, and Hyatt.

Campus: In this course we learn about four main departments like F&B service, front office, food production, and housekeeping, plus many more things. Our college has good facilities too, like a mess and a canteen. The food in the mess is super good, very homely, and clean.

Admission: Handling my admission at SOA was simple, thanks to an easy application form and clear updates about merit list and counselling. Document verification was efficient, staff were helpful throughout registration, and the journey remained hassle-free.

Academic: At our college are really experienced and know a lot. They are super helpful. Whenever we have doubts, they clear them very well. Even if we face problems in studies or academics, they always help us out. For assignments and projects too, they give us good support to make them properly.

Placement: When it comes to placements, they are just okay. Not many students get placed here, but a small number of them did find jobs in 2022. We also get companies from other states who hire our capable students.

Campus: About the infrastructure, it's just okay right now. Our building is new, built in 2021, so it needs some more years to get perfect and have everything we need. I hope with more effort, things will improve in the coming years. Once some more work gets done, this college can really be good.

Academic: All of them are top-notch and qualified. They are also super friendly, which makes it easy to learn. The course we study is very relevant and actually helps us get ready for jobs in the industry. About exams, they are not that tough, you just need to put a little effort.

Placement: Talking about placements here, around 70-75% of students usually get placed. For our course, some top companies like ServiceNow, Capgemini, Accenture, Deloitte, and Cognizant visit the campus for hiring. The highest salary package someone got was 42.6 LPA from ServiceNow, which is really good. The average package is around 4.25 LPA, and the lowest was 3.35 LPA, offered by TCS.

Campus: Most about our college is the library. It's actually the best place here because it has super fast internet and a really good cooling system. You can find all kinds of books there too. Our college infrastructure is good overall. About the hostel, students can choose if they want a 2-sharing room or a 4-sharing room, it just depends on what they need.

Admission: Gaining selection into SOA was a pleasant experience, with clearly laid out application and counselling steps. Document verification was smooth, staff helped during registration, and the journey from application to onboarding felt well-structured.

Academic: You know, SOA University is quite a famous place. In the state, it's number one overall, and nationally, it's ranked 26th by NIRF India Rankings for 2023. Plus, it's one of only 35 universities in our whole country that QS has even ranked internationally. It's also fully approved by UGC and got a super A+ grade from NAAC.

Placement: For placements here at SOA University in Bhubaneswar, things are really good. Everyone from our course got placed, which is awesome. In 2023, the highest salary offered was a huge 46 LPA. The lowest package was 4 LPA, and on average, students got around 6 LPA. Many top companies like Tata, Tech Mahindra, Tulip, Deloitte, PWC, and JP Morgan come to hire students from our campus.

Campus: I like about SOA University in Bhubaneswar is how they focus on new ideas and helping students start their own things. They really push for research and have good tie-ups with different companies. Plus, the facilities here are super good. We have well-equipped hostels, a big central library with so many books and stuff, and also proper sports facilities.

Admission: Completing admission at SOA felt streamlined, as online counselling after the merit list was well-organized. Document verification went smoothly with helpful staff, class registration was efficient, and each step from start to finish was clearly outlined.

Academic: Course curriculum here is really good, it makes our basics super clear and gets us ready for interviews. Our teachers are mostly quite good and qualified, though sometimes you need a bit of luck to find a teacher who is always ready to help. For teaching quality, I'd rate it around 8 out of 10. In exams, we have a grading system, and honestly, scoring high marks in them is pretty hard.

Placement: The placement scene at our college is decent right now. A lot of companies have come and hired many students from campus. From our senior batch, like 70-80% students already got placed. Some really big companies like Microsoft, ServiceNow, Atlassian, AutoDesk, Cisco, and JP Morgan come here, more than 20 of them. Mostly they offer software engineering (SWE) roles. Two students even got a huge 43 LPA package from ServiceNow, which included an internship and a full-time role. For sales and marketing jobs, packages are usually around 4-6 LPA.

Campus: The hostels here are super neat and clean, they take good care of them. In the hostels, we also get Wi-Fi and laundry services, which is really helpful. On campus, there are cameras everywhere for safety. For Wi-Fi, it's available in the labs, but not in the classrooms. Talking about the food, for me, it's mostly average, though some days, like a few times a week, it's actually pretty good.
