Admission: The teachers are really nice and focused on helping us out. Most of them used to be captains in the Merchant Navy. The only downside is that there aren't many full-time teachers, most of them are visiting. They do their best to teach us, but sometimes they struggle with academic stuff.

Placement: We're the first group doing B.Sc. nautical science here, so no older students to ask for advice. Out of 25 of us, 2 already landed jobs. Companies like Synergy and Dockendale come for recruitment. But in this maritime field, we only get stipends, not full salaries. Just so you know, our college doesn't have a placement office.

Campus: The college campus isn't too big, but it's got some cool stuff. We've got a football ground that also doubles as a cricket ground. There's a nice volleyball court with synthetic flooring, a basketball court, and a table tennis court. The academic building is good, and we have a new hostel building along with the old one. They're building a new simulation room for B.Sc. nautical science students, which is part of our course. And get this - they're planning to put in a swimming pool too!

Admission: The teachers are super helpful and they have Ph.D.s from NITs. I really like the hands-on training we get here. The semester exams are fair, with a 50% passing rate. Just show respect and engage with the teachers, they'll support you through it all.

Placement: I graduated from M.Sc and I'm happy to say that almost all my batchmates got placed. The salary packages ranged from 10 to 30 LPA. Companies like Chevron and Torm Tankers came for recruitment. A good 75% of us also landed internships. If you're an average student like me, don't worry, this college is perfect for you. And hey, they also make sure to place girls quickly after graduation.

Campus: The Wi-Fi here is awesome, you can connect to 5G anytime in the hostel and all over campus. There are labs, classrooms with smartboards, a library, and a gym. Plus, we've got sports grounds for football, cricket, basketball, and volleyball. The food is tasty and the gym is top-notch too.

Admission: The teachers at our college are so helpful and friendly. They really know their stuff and make learning easy. I never have a problem asking questions and getting answers. They're super clear and I feel confident passing my exams. They even have special classes which are really helpful.

Placement: There are a lot of companies near our college.

Campus: I love my college! The atmosphere is great, and the fees are affordable. They offer coaching, trips, and industrial visits. The labs have all the equipment we need, and the campus is student-friendly. There are buses to the city, and the hostel has Wi-Fi. The food is tasty with options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians, plus tea and snacks. They even have TV and sports time. I enjoy hanging out on campus and there are cool shops nearby. You can even get stationary on campus. Studying here is really enjoyable!

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff and have experience in the maritime field. The course is all about up-to-date maritime info and they keep it fresh. The exams aren't too hard, just right.

Placement: I really like this college because they give us a great education. A lot of big shipping companies like Mediterranean Shipping Company, Anglo-Eastern Shipping company, Seven Islands, Thom, etc. come here to hire students. It's awesome!

Campus: The college has really good food options and the facilities are top-notch. The Wi-Fi works great everywhere even in the hostel. They've got cool stuff like Marine labs, smart classrooms, and a big library focused on marine stuff. It's awesome!

Admission: I love studying at this university that focuses on marine industry courses. The campus is brand new, which is awesome. It's a good place for students who are serious about getting a job. They treat everyone fairly here. The teachers are really knowledgeable and passionate about teaching.

Placement: This college is missing international connections when it comes to placements. But, being close to Kochi port does bring some advantages. If you're looking for a college in Kochi, this is the best one to consider. It's better positioned compared to other private colleges in the area.

Campus: The college campus is pretty big, covering 10 acres. They have good labs and a playground. The courses are a bit limited compared to other IMUs. That's because the campus isn't by the water. But it's easy to reach and looks nice.

Admission: The teachers at this college are really helpful. You can reach out to them not only during college hours but also after. They know their stuff and teach well. The student to faculty ratio is not great, with about 25 students for every 3 teachers in the last few batches. The college doesn't offer a lot of real-world experience with industries. But the curriculum is practical and valuable.

Placement: I was in the first group of B.Sc Nautical Science students. The college hasn't arranged any job placements yet, but they're working on it. The Nautical Science department began in 2016. Even though there are no placements yet, the college is reaching out to companies and has shared our resumes with them. It looks like there's a good chance of getting hired soon.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is pretty good. The hostel has nice drinking water and the labs are good. The library is awesome, with lots of books on our subject. It's air-conditioned and has computers with internet. Classrooms have whiteboards and projectors. We've got all the sports gear we need, plus basketball and volleyball courts. The food isn't great though. The hostel rooms are nice, with two people in each. There was a hostel issue before, but it's fixed now.

Admission: The faculty here is great! We've got HOD, course coordinator, and guest faculty members. They're contracted and visiting, and all really know their stuff. Some go above and beyond, teaching us more than just what's in the syllabus. They're super helpful overall!

Placement: I can't really speak about placements because this course is new. But, the college has a placement cell to help with that. So, I think placements should be fine since the college is putting effort into it. I'm not sure how it will go, but I'm hopeful for good placements.

Campus: The campus is pretty small, so I'd give it 2.5 stars for infrastructure. It does look nice though, maybe around 3.5 out of 5. They have labs, a gym, and sports facilities, but there's not enough space. You can't play football and cricket at the same time because of that.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and know a lot. They're like captains guiding us through. They're all really experienced and clear up any confusion we have. The course content is practical and gets us ready for jobs. The exams aren't too tough, with a 50% pass rate. It's a great place to learn!

Placement: At our college, most students get jobs in fields like MBA and Nautical stuff. The average salary here is around 7 lakhs per year. The highest pay is 12 lakhs and the lowest is 5.5 lakhs. Companies like M.Sc. Anglo Eastern, Torm, Synergy, BHM, and more hire students. Some of us even intern at Mumbai port. Once we finish our course, we can work in the shipping industry as a captain.

Campus: The Wi-Fi at our campus is great - it's everywhere, even in the hostel and canteen, and it's super fast. We've got labs for computers, navigation, and simulators. The classrooms are really nice, with AC, good lighting, fans, and water purifiers. Our library is awesome. It has tons of books on Nautical and management stuff, plus general knowledge books and magazines about shipping. There's even an online website for the library. The hostel here is top-notch. The bathrooms are clean, and each floor has a water purifier with normal, cold, and hot water. They've got a fire alarm system just in case. The rooms are cool - two people per room with two beds and everything you need. The food in the hostel mixes North and South Indian styles, and it's tasty and healthy. The canteen is clean too. We've got good volleyball and basketball courts for sports, plus a gym. Overall, it's an awesome place to be.

Admission: The teaching here is great! The topics we learn are actually useful. The exams can be a bit tricky. You need to get at least 50% to pass. The exam has 10 multiple choice questions, 5 short answers, and 5 long answers. It's out of 100 marks, with 70 from the written part and 30 from continuous evaluation.

Placement: The college is really focused on getting everyone placed. Last semester, lots of companies came for placements like M.Sc. 7 islands, and Anglo-Eastern. Most seniors already have jobs lined up. It's gaining popularity since it's a new college. The facilities here are great for helping students land placements.

Campus: The campus has great facilities like labs, classrooms, and libraries. The Wi-Fi gives us 10 GB of data every week, which is awesome. Unfortunately, there's no canteen, but the mess food is decent. A doctor visits three times a week. The best part is the big sports ground where we can play all sorts of games. Overall, the infrastructure and hostel are top-notch.

Admission: The teachers and staff for all my classes are really good. They really care about us students because there aren't too many of us in each class only around 40. The teachers use their own notes to teach, and the captains teach us about shipping stuff. It's pretty cool.

Placement: I was in the first batch of this course, so there aren't any past placement records to look at. The word is that placements aren't that great, which is a bit disappointing because the college talks them up a lot. They say they'll try to get us good placements, especially after we finish the STCW courses. So, fingers crossed for that!

Campus: The college facilities are pretty good. Even though the campus isn't huge, the staff works hard to offer lots of amenities. They just finished a new hostel that can house 120 students. The rooms are shared by two people. The hostel has a mess, chill-out room, and a gym. There's also a top-notch marine workshop on campus. They're working on a ship simulator, so that's exciting! Can't wait for it to be ready.
