SIST- Scholarships Offered by SRM University, Chennai
SRMIST Chennai provides a range of scholarships to its students. Selection for these scholarships begins every July and is conducted by the senior faculty members and the Director of SRM IST. Note that a student is eligible for only one type of scholarship at a time and that there are no scholarships offered for NEET, Pharm.D., and Pharm.D. (PB) programs. SIST-Founder's Scholarship
The Founder's Scholarship is offered to top-performing students in their qualifying examination or IIT JEE Mains who are enrolling in the first year of the B.Tech course. This scholarship also applies to exceptional sportspersons seeking admission to UG/ PG/ Diploma programs. See the table below for more details:
SIST-Merit Scholarship
The Merit Scholarship is granted to candidates who have secured SRMJEE Rank 101-500 (spread across all phases) in SRMJEEE (UG) across all campuses. This scholarship is available for B.Tech candidates only.
SIST-Chancellor Constituency Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students from the PKMS First Year and Perambalur Constituency.
SIST-Socio-Economic Scholarship
The Socio-Economic Scholarship is offered to students from Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Tribal Communities, and Low-Income Families: FEFSI and CHINNATHIRAI.
SIST-Arts and Culture Scholarship
