MBA in Power Management

Reviewed On 6 Aug, 2025

Admission: The teachers know their stuff and the topics we study are spot-on for the power industry. Exams are okay, not too hard, and everyone passes. Guest speakers are cool, but we could use more hands-on learning for power stuff. The syllabus sets us up for real-world jobs if we put in the effort.

Placement: I'm part of the 18th MBA batch, and everyone has got placed so far. The highest salary this year is 19.5 LPA, and the lowest is 7.5 LPA. Companies like Adani Power, Sunshure, Truboard Partners, GMR, Hero Power, and ABPS have hired students. Out of 37 students in my batch, only 4 are still waiting for internship offers, but I'm sure they'll get them soon. There have been lots of companies visiting for placements and internships, which is awesome.

Campus: The campus and hostel are clean, but the hostel doesn't have Wi-Fi. The food in the mess is vegetarian, but it's not that great. There's a doctor on campus all the time. They have sports courts and a gym too. The library is cool with lots of good books.

Admission: I really like how some teachers at the college know their stuff and teach well. The teaching quality is pretty good overall. But, there are a few teachers who don't seem to know much. If you study regularly, the semester exams aren't too tough.

Placement: Companies usually prefer B.Tech students for placements, not B.Sc. Maths students. But some B.Sc. students do get placed, though I'm not sure how many. The highest package is approximately 9.7 LPA. Since companies usually don't choose B.Sc. students for internships, it's hard to say what roles are offered.

Campus: The Wi-Fi in our science building is a bit of a letdown, it doesn't work. But the labs and classrooms are super clean and well taken care of. The issue in the lab is that a few of the computers don't work properly, and some are really slow. The boys don't have a hostel here, only the girls do. And according to the girls, the food isn't that great.

Admission: The semester exams in the computer department are pretty manageable. The questions tend to repeat from previous years, so passing isn't too hard. It's different for other departments though; they're tougher on students. Most teachers are qualified, but some are just focused on finishing the course quickly.

Placement: The placements are great for mechanical engineering students. But for computer science students, the placement rate is not as good. Samsung used to hire from our college, but they stopped for a year after some incidents. However, girls still get job offers.

Campus: The labs and classrooms are okay, nothing special. There isn't a boys' hostel on campus yet, so you'll have to find a PG or rent a flat nearby. The library has a lot of books, but it's not that great in terms of infrastructure.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They know their stuff and really care about teaching. How much you learn really depends on how much effort you put in. They can be pretty tough when grading papers and attendance, but overall they're great at helping you learn.

Placement: Placements are okay in some departments, but pretty low in others. There are some top companies that hire a lot of students, but overall, not many good options. Some students have had issues with fake companies too.

Campus: The buildings here are pretty old, except for the Science department which is new. Most of the departments have old and worn-out buildings. The labs are well-equipped, but some experiential kits are missing. There's no boys' hostel, but the girls' hostel has good facilities.

Admission: The teaching methods and syllabus at this college feel outdated and could use some upgrading. Compared to IITs and NITs, where students learn about the newest tech in their fields, this college needs to catch up. The workshops here could also use some newer equipment to keep up with the times.

Placement: The starting salary is a bit low, around INR 30,000 per month. But don't worry, you can land a better job by applying off campus, especially for core branches. For CSE and IT students, the pay is okay, but not great. The highest package is around 18 lakhs per annum.

Campus: The campus is super old, like from 1965. They say they might get a new campus, but nothing's confirmed. There's this one new building that holds a lot of classes. But there's only one elevator there, so it's a pain with all the students and staff.

Admission: The teachers at Aravali College are really knowledgeable and experienced. They help us not only with our studies but also with life advice. The exams are tough, but if you study, you'll do fine. Around 40-60% of students pass each semester. Overall, the teachers here are great!

Placement: Placements at my college are pretty good. There's a placement cell that helps students with job interviews. The highest package for my course is 3.4 LPA, and the lowest is 1 LPA. I think about 80% of students in my field get internships. A lot of companies come for interviews. Overall, placements are good as long as you're good enough for them.

Campus: The college infrastructure could be better, but it's okay. It's a small college with a 4-floor building and a lift. The classrooms are air-conditioned, which is nice. There are 2 grounds - one for gardening and the other for sports like cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball. The classrooms have Wi-Fi, but the campus itself doesn't. The labs are good and safe. I stay in the hostel, and it's peaceful with no ragging issues. The food is decent compared to other colleges in Noida/Delhi.

Admission: The teachers and staff here are super helpful. They know their stuff and have a lot of experience. They explain things in a way that's easy to understand. The course really prepares us for the job market, and they push us to find good jobs.

Placement: The college pushes us to aim for 90%+ for job placements, but they also help out those with 70%+. The highest salary offered is around 5-6 LPA, while the lowest is 1 LPA. Companies like iBirds, CRM, and Landing come for recruitment, offering roles like Software Engineer and Software Developer.

Campus: The internet connection and Wi-Fi are great here. The classrooms are nice, and the labs have everything we need. The library has books for all our subjects. The campus is a bit small and crowded, though.

Admission: In a semester, we have to take four exams. Three of them are internal and one is the final exam, which we take at the main university. It's super important to pass the final exam. The internal exams aren't mandatory to pass, but they do impact the marking by our college teachers in the final report.

Placement: The placements here aren't great. Not a lot of students get placed because big companies don't visit for placements. Only small startups come, and sometimes Skill-Lync comes too. It's okay, but not the best for campus placements.

Campus: The faculty and facilities are really good for the price we pay for the course and hostel. The teachers are well-educated and the campus is well-maintained. It's worth it!

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful and the subjects we learn are super relevant to real-world jobs. Exams are more about applying what we've learned. They make sure the exams are fair and we can also ask for extra help from our teachers. They're friendly and funny too!

Placement: The college is awesome for BCA students. Companies like Infosys and Wipro hire a lot of graduates from here. The teachers in BBA courses are super experienced and really helpful for our careers. Plus, we have access to great lab facilities for both BBA and BCA students. It's a great place to kickstart your career!

Campus: The computer labs have all the latest software, which is great. The hostel is safe and always clean. The college has awesome facilities, and the Wi-Fi is a big plus for all students. Love it here!

Admission: The teachers know their stuff, but they're not very helpful. The course prepares you for working in the industry, but the college doesn't offer much support. The semester exams are really tough, with only about a 33% pass rate.

Placement: The placements at this college are not great. The average package for our course is only 2 LPA. Not many students get internships here. It seems like the college is more focused on making money than helping students find good placements.

Campus: The campus doesn't have Wi-Fi, and they charge a lot for attendance. The classrooms are okay, but the hostel facilities aren't great. The food in the mess and canteen is not good and expensive. They do have medical facilities on campus.
