Admission: The teachers are nice and try to help, but they don't always know their stuff well. The teaching is okay, not great. The stuff we learn is okay, but it doesn't really get us ready for what we need in the real world. You really gotta work hard to pass the tough exams. They really push us to show up to class, and they stress us out about assignments. It's hard to take time off, even if you're sick.
Placement: The placement rate here is pretty good, ranging from 20% to 40%. The highest salary package in 2025 was 25 LPA for off-campus placements, while the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Josh Technologies, and Penthera Technologies hire students from here. Unfortunately, there are no companies coming for internships. The popular job roles offered are software engineer, frontend developer, and backend developer.
Campus: The labs have old equipment and software, especially the Chemistry lab which is not working. The Wi-Fi is super slow. Hostels haven't been updated in ages. Sports facilities are not great. The library is only open five days a week, for eight hours a day. The canteen is there, but the food is too expensive.

Admission: The teachers are okay, they can be helpful in certain areas. But mostly you gotta do some work on your own for some projects. The teaching is just average. The course content is good and keeps up with other colleges like NIT, IIT. Exams aren't too hard, most students pass with a CGPA around 7.
Placement: Most students in Computer Science and IT get jobs, which is great. But in Mechanical and Electronics, only about half find placements. The college is improving placements each year. Big companies like Infosys, IBM, and TCS visit for hiring. You can get roles like web developer or software engineer. The highest salary offered is 22 Lacs per year with an average of 6 Lacs per year.
Campus: The campus has everything you need library, gym, sports like football, volleyball, basketball, and badminton. There's Wi-Fi in the hostel and around the campus, plus labs for computer science and electronics. The classrooms are okay. The campus is small but nice, with lots of green and a peaceful vibe. It's well taken care of.

Admission: The teacher taught different subjects in different semesters. Most students passed, but some failed. Exams were checked on campus, which had its pros and cons depending on the situation.
Placement: Getting a job on campus is tough here. The pay is quite low, around 3.5 to 4 LPA, and only a few students get it. I wonder why more companies don't come here since the students are really talented.
Campus: The campus Wi-Fi needs student login, but the labs are old, so we use our laptops. The library is cool for book borrowing. Not much sports here, just a small in-college sports event with student-found sponsors. No certificates or inter-college sports stuff.

Admission: The teachers are really friendly and helpful, although there are a couple who are not as much. The courses are pretty standard like in other colleges, but you get plenty of spare time to concentrate on learning and improving your skills. The exams are quite easy to do well in, so you won't struggle too much with them.
Placement: Most of us in my course found jobs, about 80 percent. The biggest offer was around 14-16 Lacs, and the average was 6 Lacs. Companies like Infosys, Zomato, and Capgemini came for placements. They hired for roles like software developer, android developer, and UI UX designer. It was cool to see my classmates getting good opportunities.
Campus: The college has decent infrastructure. Wi-Fi is in all rooms, labs, hostels, and the mess. The food in the hostel mess and canteen is good, with lots of options. Hostel rooms are okay. The library is the best part of the college.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really good. They all have PhDs, which is cool. It makes us feel more confident. The exams are fair and we get all the help we need. About 40% of students pass, but the exams aren't super hard. It's all good here!
Placement: The placements at our college are pretty good. We have this cool place called the Training and Placement Cell at UIET, Hoshiarpur, that helps us land jobs. Around 70% to 80% of students got placed in awesome companies last year. Big names like Infosys, ChicMic, HCL Tech, and TCS often hire students from our college.
Campus: The hostel is alright, but there's a long wait for new rooms, which is tough for newbies. Because of this, we end up having to find PGs outside of college, which costs more than staying in the hostel. The facilities are pretty good though. We have our own space for playing football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, and cricket. But, the college doesn't provide coaches, and that's a bummer.

Admission: The teachers are pretty good. Most of the time, there's no big issue with attendance or too much pressure (except with a few professors). In the end, you've got to put in the effort to study and get ready for the industry. There are 2 mid-semester exams worth 30 marks each, and they take the best score out of the two for the final grades. These exams are not too hard and often have questions that are repeated from previous years. The final exam is worth 50 marks and is set by the professors from UIETH Chandigarh. It's not as easy as the mid-terms, but not super tough either. To pass, you need at least 40 out of 100 marks overall, with a minimum of 10 out of 50 in the final exam.
Placement: The college has great placement opportunities! Around 70% of students have already been placed in companies like Infosys, Quark, Chic Mic, Pie Infotech, Xenon Sack, Cognizant, Growth Native, Josh Technologies, and more. Some past recruiters include Paytm, Sonalika, Tech Mahindra, Zomato, Hitachi, Isuzu, and Policy Bazar. The highest package offered so far is 13.5 LPA, while the average is around 5-7 LPA. In 2024, students even landed a 25 LPA offer from Cisco off-campus. Mechanical students are also securing 7 LPA packages. Overall, technical placements seem to be better than core placements.
Campus: The classrooms can get pretty hot since there's no AC, but the library, CS, and IT labs are cool. Wi-Fi works in the hostel and academic block. The hostel rooms are decent. The food in the mess is okay, nothing special. There's a clinic open from 9 AM to 1 PM on weekdays for medical needs. The annual sports meet is a fun 3-4 day event with lots of sports and games. And there are facilities like a basketball court, football/cricket ground, volleyball court, badminton court, kho ground, and a gym available on campus.

Admission: The teachers at our college know their stuff, but they're not always great at helping students out. Their teaching is good, though. The semester exams aren't too hard to pass - you just need to get at least 40% to pass.
Placement: The placements at our college are okay. If you know your stuff in tech, you can land a good-paying job. Last year, the highest salary was 50 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was around 4-5 LPA. Most students, like 85-90%, end up getting placed.
Campus: The campus infrastructure is pretty good. We do have Wi-Fi, but honestly, it's not the fastest. However, the hostel Wi-Fi is much better. We've got two boys' hostels and a girls' hostel here. One of the boys' hostels is private, and the other one is for government students on the merit list. The classrooms are nice, and we also have a library on campus.

Admission: The teachers here are really great! They know their stuff and are always ready to help out. The course has a mix of internal assessments and written exams, with the semester exams being a bit challenging.
Placement: Most students end up with jobs, usually around 90%. The highest salary can go up to 10 lakhs a year and the lowest is at least 5 lakhs. Companies like Kahitan and Khaitan often come for campus placements. About 80% of seniors in my course got jobs, mostly as Associates.
Campus: I love the campus here! There are hostels for both girls and boys, and they have Wi-Fi, 24/7 water, and a mess. Plus, there's a canteen and lots of cool stuff like labs, a moot court hall, an auditorium, and playgrounds. The food in the mess is tasty and healthy, which is awesome for us students.

Admission: The teachers are really helpful here, but some know their stuff better than others. The syllabus and exams follow the Panjab University curriculum, which is cool. Passing the semester exams is pretty straightforward. If you respect your teachers and stay disciplined, passing is a breeze. Otherwise, some students end up with arrears.
Placement: The companies that came for placements in 2024 were Infosys, Quark, Chic Mic, Growth Native, Pie Infotech, Xenon Sack, Cognizant, and more. The average salary offered was between 4 to 5 LPA. The highest salary offered ranged from 7 to 9 LPA or 9 to 11 LPA. Mechanical students typically got around 7 LPA. One CSE student landed a job off-campus at Cisco with a salary of 25 LPA. So far, about 50 students have been placed out of 60 offers. The placements at our college are decent.
Campus: The Wi-Fi here is not that great. You can only use it in certain spots and it's slow. The library is only open during college hours. Classrooms don't have AC and no smartboards or projectors, just blackboards. The campus is small, like 10 acres, for engineering and law students. The girls' hostel is big enough for everyone, but the boys' hostel is tiny and only for top students. The rest have to find a PG outside. The food in the mess is good and cheap. There's a medical center too. Not much of a sports scene here, just one sports event every year.

Admission: The teaching here is okay, but some professors could do better. Some of them really know their stuff and help out, but others struggle to teach well. You gotta work hard on your own to understand everything and do well. There's not much help from the school, so you gotta learn a lot by yourself to make it through.
Placement: The placement opportunities for CSE students at SSGRC PANJAB UNIVERSITY are pretty good. The highest package is 13 LPA, with an average of 5 LPA. The placement rate is 75%. Some of the top recruiters are Josh Technology Group, Chicmic, GreyB, and A2IT. They offer roles like software/web developer. The lowest package is 3 LPA.
Campus: The school doesn't have nice classrooms, labs, or sports stuff. It's missing important things like fast Wi-Fi, a good library, and comfy places to study. The internet is bad, so it's hard to use online tools for studying.
