Admission: The teachers are good, no problems there. The course material could be better, but it's alright. Exams are challenging, with about 80% of students passing. When it comes to internships, around 80-90% of students manage to secure one each year. Companies like Intel, Deloitte, Capgemini, and government agencies offer internships, which give students valuable industry experience.

Placement: I heard from seniors that the placements here aren't great, but for my course, the stats are pretty good. The highest package was around ?40 LPA, grabbed by a student in a big company. The lowest was about ?3.5 LPA, and the average was between ?7-8 LPA. It shows that students usually get good job offers.

Campus: The facilities here are pretty good. Each year, about 80-90% of students in my course land internships. Big companies like Intel, Deloitte, and Capgemini offer internships, along with government agencies. It's a great way to get real industry experience.

Admission: Most of the teachers here are really helpful and supportive, about 90%. They go above and beyond to teach us well, not just sticking to the basics. But there are a couple of teachers who could do better. The course really does prepare us for the industry, so it's important to pay attention and not just focus on passing exams. Speaking of exams, they're not too tough or too easy. It's pretty doable to get over 40% in them.

Placement: Most students in our department get jobs after college maybe like 60%-80%. The best offer is around 20 LPA, while the usual pay is 4 LPA. People end up working at big companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, and Mahindra & Mahindra. Not sure how many students do internships, though.

Campus: The campus has good facilities. The classrooms are modern with digital tools. Wi-Fi works everywhere. The library is open from 8 am to 8 pm, plenty of books for studying.

Admission: Since COVID hit, there have been fewer college teachers around. And the ones left aren't really into teaching. We didn't learn much about what companies are looking for in graduates. And when it came to getting jobs, we were pretty much on our own. It caused a lot of issues in our group, with some people really struggling.

Placement: I wanted to do an internship with Nourish Genie, so I contacted them. The college required us to do an internship in the 7th semester. They gave us a letter for it. Starting packages are around 5 LPA for full-time internships. They offer programming engineering roles too. About 58% of students got these roles in the last academic year.

Campus: The only good thing about our college is the reading room. The rest of the infrastructure is not great. Labs don't have the right software for practical work. Also, the canteens aren't on campus and aren't for engineering students.

Admission: The faculty here really know their stuff because they have experience in the industry. The teachers are all qualified too.

Placement: When we hit the 6th semester break, our college gears up for placements. It's a good head start for the 7th and 8th semesters. Big companies like Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, Aloha, and more show up. They usually offer salaries around 4 to 5 LPA. About half of the 200 students in computer and IT branches end up getting job offers. It's a good vibe all around!

Campus: This college is not as good as others in the area. They don't have the labs needed for experiments and projects. They only show them during admission but don't actually use them.

Admission: I'm not sure about the pass percentage, but I know that a lot of students pass their exams. It's normal to have some backlogs in an engineering college. The teachers and staff in our college are really good.

Placement: I'm not exactly sure, but on average, companies that come to my college offer around 3 to 5 lakhs per year. I've heard that a lot of companies come here, and many students do internships too.

Campus: I really like how clean everything is at the college - the canteen, classrooms, all good. Sometimes the table fans are a bit broken, but they usually get fixed. The campus itself is nice, with good events and facilities. Overall, it's a fine place to be.

Admission: The teachers are really smart and know their stuff. They've got M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. We learn things like Programming, Data Structures, DBMS, AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and IoT, which are important. Exams aren't a walk in the park, but they're not impossible either. Around 85-90% of us usually pass each semester.

Placement: I'm Paras, studying at Terna Engineering College in Nerul. I'm doing my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering and will graduate in 2024. The college is affiliated with Mumbai University. The placement rate is pretty good, around 75-85%. The lowest salary offered is 3.5 LPA, while the highest goes up to 18 LPA. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra hire from our college. For internships, around 70-80% of students get placed. Top internship companies include TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and Persistent Systems. The popular job roles offered are cloud engineer, data scientist, and cybersecurity analyst.

Campus: The campus facilities are really good. They have Wi-Fi in the academic buildings. The computer department has cool labs with fast internet, new computers, and the latest software. The classrooms are comfy with good ventilation. The food is okay to pretty good.

Admission: The teachers here are really friendly and helpful. They don't just teach using whiteboards; they also use projectors which helps us learn better. They give us question banks for internal exams and we have to do everything for the external ones. The topics in the course are totally relevant for our progress.

Placement: The EXTC branch in our college has great placement opportunities. Around 90% of open category students and 80% of OBC students get placed. The highest salary package is about 45 LPA, while the lowest is around 10-11 LPA. On average, students get offers between 4-5 LPA.

Campus: The college has a reading hall with Wi-Fi for studying. The classrooms are spacious and well-maintained. The labs are also good, and the computers work fine. I don't live in the hostel, but I heard three people can share a room there. The food in the mess is decent.

Admission: The professors are new here and they don't bring much industry experience to the table. They don't really understand what's needed in the real world. Plus, they give assignments that don't really help us prepare for exams.

Placement: People aren't really interested in working in civil engineering here because the pay isn't great and the job is mostly supervisory. Most students are aiming to do a master's degree either abroad or in India. The department helps us secure internships with companies like Cisco and L&T for metro projects. The internships are hands-on and really practical, which is awesome.

Campus: The reading room has everything we need AC, Wi-Fi, reference books, and laptops. There's a turf for cricket and football, but the canteen is a bit far from the medical college. The classrooms are nice, and the labs are well-equipped.

Admission: The exams at Mumbai University are tough, but the teachers know their stuff. They teach both theory and practice really well. The course content is up-to-date and matches what's taught in IT today. If you put in the effort, the semester exams won't be too hard.

Placement: The placements at this college are really good. Big companies like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Cognizant come here to hire students. They also offer internships in core and IT sectors on time. The average salary for IT students is around 6-7 lakhs per year, while core students can expect around 4-5 lakhs per year.

Campus: The college has decent infrastructure, but it's not top-notch. The campus isn't huge, like many Mumbai colleges. They have high-speed Wi-Fi everywhere, which is great. The labs and classrooms are modern and well-organized. The canteen serves good food, and there's awesome street food nearby that you should definitely check out.

Admission: The college uses the university's curriculum, which is pretty good. The teachers and staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the curriculum leans more towards theory than practical skills, so it may not fully prepare students for the industry. Overall, it's okay.

Placement: The placement scene for CS and IT is pretty good. The highest package till now is 8 LPA. Deloitte and TCS are the top companies that come for recruitment. But for core branches, the placements are not that great. The lowest package offered to core branches is 1.8 LPA.

Campus: I think the college is pretty good overall. The library and internet here are really great. The sports and games are fun, but I can't say much about living in the hostel because I commute. The classrooms could use some cleaning up, though. Some of the benches are broken, especially in a few departments.
