Admission: The teachers at our college are really great. They know their stuff and are always there to help. Their teaching is top-notch and they support us all the way through the semester.

Placement: The placements at our college are okay. The salary packages range from 2.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. Some alumni help with placements, and the college also provides good opportunities. We mostly go for off-campus drives. The internship opportunities are decent, usually at the trainee level. The companies that come for on-campus placements help us gain industry knowledge and experience.

Campus: The college's infrastructure is pretty good. The computer labs are just as good as those in top colleges. The classrooms and canteen food are okay. The playground is well laid out. The hostel rooms are really comfy. The anti-ragging committee helps new students settle in and enjoy their first year.

Admission: I'm a student at Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology (TPGIT) and I'm studying engineering here. We have undergraduate (B.E.) and postgraduate (M.E., MCA) programs in civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, communication, and computer science. The courses are accredited by AICTE and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The teachers are really good at what they do and they're experts in their fields. Dr. Dhanalakshmi from Electronics and Communication Engineering is great at process control and fuzzy clustering. The labs here are well-equipped for hands-on learning. The faculty members are involved in both teaching and research, and they organize workshops and training programs. If you want to know more, you can check out the TPGIT website.

Placement: I go to Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology (TPGIT) in Vellore. They have a placement cell that helps us get ready for jobs. They give us training in tech stuff, help us with soft skills, and arrange internships. Last year, 172 students got placed. The highest salary was 7 LPA, and the average was around 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, Renault Nissan, TVS Fasteners, and Xiaomi come to hire us. Our teachers work with these companies to make sure we do well in placements.

Campus: I go to Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology (TPGIT) in Vellore. The campus has everything we need: - Our classrooms, labs, and workshops are all top-notch. We get hands-on experience in different engineering fields. - The library is huge and has lots of books, journals, and digital stuff for our studies. - There are hostels for guys and girls with all the essentials for a comfy stay. - We can play basketball, volleyball, and cricket on campus. There's even a gym for those who like to work out. - The internet is super fast, and the computer labs are modern and cool. - We have an auditorium for seminars, workshops, and events. - Plus, there's transportation, a canteen, medical help, and banking services right here. It's all very convenient for us students.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. They're experts in their fields and always make sure we get the concepts. Plus, they're always around to help us out.

Placement: A lot of students in our college land jobs, which is awesome. Big companies like TCS and Wipro come here to hire. The pay is usually around 1 to 2 LPA. I know many classmates who got hired by top companies.

Campus: The campus is really nice and well-kept. The library has lots of books for research. Our college dorms are in good shape. Wi-Fi works everywhere on campus. Classrooms have projectors that make learning easier.

Admission: The teachers here are really good and know their stuff. They teach well, but we kinda lack industry connections. It would be cool if they used more up-to-date tech though. The exams are tough, and it's hard to hit above 60% pass rate.

Placement: The placements at our college are not great, especially in core departments. The salary package is low, so students need to look for internships themselves. Big companies don't usually hire freshers from our college.

Campus: The college has good buildings and facilities. But the food in the hostel is not great, and the hostel itself is old. Sometimes we have problems with water. The Wi-Fi is there, but it's not strong enough for our work. We do play sports and games, but there's no coach to help us improve. The library is awesome, with a lot of books to use.

Admission: The ECE department at our college has a mix of permanent and temporary teachers. They are really nice to us students and explain everything in a way that's easy to understand. The teachers are prepping us for exams and also for working in the industry. Everyone in our class did a great job on their projects.

Placement: I'm really happy with the campus placements this year. Around 80% of us have already got jobs. Companies like TCL and Wipro are hiring a lot of students. The highest salary offered is 5 LPA, while the lowest is 2 LPA. It's great to see so many of us landing good jobs!

Campus: The ECE department has free Wi-Fi, which is awesome. The hostel food is tasty, and there's a canteen on campus too. Our department has great facilities, like separate labs for everything we need. The girls' hostel even has a badminton court! Guys stay in a hostel for two years, while girls stay for four years. And remember, boys can't go into the girls' hostel.

Admission: The teachers here may not be super experts, but they do help out when we're stuck. They know their stuff and talk to us a lot. The course content is good, but it doesn't really prep us for the real world. A lot of us are clueless about electrical engineering. The exams are pretty easy, you could cram the night before and still pass. Just so you know, about 35% of us pass.

Placement: Around half of the students found jobs in good companies after graduation. The college doesn't help much with placements, so we have to find jobs ourselves. Some alumni mentioned getting jobs at places like TATA, Adani, TCS, and Wipro. The popular roles were Control Engineer, Power System Engineer, and Research and Development Engineer. Salaries ranged from 2 LPA to 8 LPA, with an average of 3-5 LPA.

Campus: The Wi-Fi here is not good and the labs are not well-kept. The classrooms are okay, and the library has some important textbooks. The hostel food is really bad, worse than the canteen food which doesn't offer much variety. There are some basic medical services on campus and a few playgrounds for hostel students.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They give us the key questions that show up on the tests. If we study well, the semester exams are a breeze. And hey, the passing rate is around 50%. It's a good place to learn!

Placement: A lot of students landed jobs in top companies at our college. Some went to IT companies too. Big names like IBM and TCS come to hire students here. Around 60% of us found jobs through campus placements. Our teachers helped us with placement training because many of us struggled with aptitude tests. It really boosted our skills and confidence.

Campus: The classrooms are really cozy. Our college has everything we need library, labs, and more. The food in the mess is tasty too. They're working on making sports and games better. And guess what? Our college won a bunch of prizes this year!

Admission: I really like the teachers here. They are so helpful in getting students jobs. They know their stuff and they're good at talking to us. In my department, there are 18 teachers who really know their stuff. My teacher makes sure we come to class, which is good for us.

Placement: Before 2023, the job opportunities were great with many companies visiting the campus. But things changed after 2023. Recently, I interviewed with a company and they only chose a few of us for the final round. In the end, only 3 students got the job. It's a bit tough now to land a job compared to before.

Campus: The hostel is nice and clean, and the staff are friendly. They have good drinking water. There are three boys' hostels and two girls' hostels. The food is better in the girls' hostel than in the boys'.

Admission: The teachers are nice and always ready to help. Sometimes they need to look in textbooks to explain things, but that's okay. The classes are okay, but they don't really prepare us for real jobs. Lots of students struggle with electronics. The exams are not too hard, and you just need 35% to pass.

Placement: I go to this college and honestly, not many students are getting jobs after they graduate. Some get lucky with walk-in interviews but a lot of us end up without any job offers. Companies like TCS, TATA, Cognizant, and Infosys are the ones that usually hire students. They usually end up working as machine learning engineers or data scientists. The highest salary offered was about 7 LPA, the average was 3-4 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. Unfortunately, no one from our college got an internship.

Campus: The college doesn't have Wi-Fi, the labs are not set up well, and the classrooms are not kept nicely. The library is not great, there are only a few books there. The hostel is not good and the food in the mess is not great. The college doesn't focus much on sports.

Admission: I really like this college because the teachers know their stuff. The exams are a bit challenging but I find it okay to get ready for them. Plus, it might be useful for job opportunities later on.

Placement: I'm currently studying Mechanical Engineering at this college from 2023 to 2027. They offer 120 seats for this course, and big companies like Tata and Mahindra come for placements. Placement sessions happen at the end of each semester, and most mechanical students (around 90%) got placed in the last round. It's a good opportunity for us students here.

Campus: The college doesn't have the best facilities compared to others, but it's not a big deal. The hostel is decent for first-year students. The food in the mess is just okay, and there are sports and games to play too.
