30 Sept, 2025 : Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has extended the registration deadline for GATE 2026. Candidates can now complete their applications without a late fee until October 6, 2025. In addition, IIT Guwahati has revised the GATE 2026 exam schedule to prevent a clash with the UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE), scheduled for February 8, 2026. The GATE 2026 committee has confirmed that papers including CE, EC, EE, GE, GG, IN, ME, and PI will not be conducted on this date. The updated schedule will be announced shortly.
