Admission: The Indian Maritime University plans the curriculum for us. The teachers are super knowledgeable. The curriculum helps us get ready for the job. Exams are pretty easy, and almost everyone passes with a 98% success rate.
Placement: The placement rate for B.Sc. Nautical Science is awesome everyone gets a job! The pay is pretty good too, with the highest package at around $850 per month. Some might start at $500, but that's still cool. Companies handle the internships, so you're in good hands.
Campus: The campus has really good facilities. There are different labs where you can get hands-on experience for the course. It's a residential program, so there's Wi-Fi everywhere on campus.

Campus: Our college has lots of cool stuff. We've got basketball courts, tennis courts, a gym (3 of them!), and more. There's even a swimming pool and fields for football and cricket. The library is nice, and the food in the mess is healthy. We've got a canteen, a grocery shop, a barber shop, a stationery shop, and a restaurant on campus. Lots of options for everything!

Admission: The teachers at DNS are mostly ex-captains and pilots, so they really know their stuff when it comes to shipping. They give their all to help us out. Some of them are quite young, which makes it easier to connect with them. The year coordinator is awesome here. The semester exams are a piece of cake if you put in the effort; even a day of studying can be enough. Tolani is churning out top-notch cadets for the shipping industry.
Placement: In my course (which is DNS), everyone gets placed 100% placement rate. The big companies like BW, Syne, Torm, D-Amico, and Home come here to hire students. After the one-year diploma, we all head off for our 18-month pre-sea training, which is like an internship. The teachers, mostly captains and sea pilots, really know their stuff. Tolani has everything you need and is India's top maritime institute.
Campus: The college has free Wi-Fi in all classrooms, which is awesome. The library is pretty cool too. The classrooms are air-conditioned and we get all the stationery we need, except pens. The hostel is great too. The wardens are super friendly, we have double shared rooms, and free Wi-Fi at specific times. They have a good schedule for everything, which is helpful. The food in the mess is really good, especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays when they have special treats.

Admission: The faculty at our college is top-notch! They're the best part of college life. Semester exams can be tough, but we get preparatory leaves to help us out. The pass percentage varies depending on the semester - some are harder than others.
Placement: Our college has a really good track record for getting students placed in jobs. Last year, out of 210 students, only around 10-15 didn't get placed. I'm in my final year now, and in one semester alone, about 10-12 companies came to hire students. What's cool is that more than half of these companies were recruiting from our college for the first time. It's awesome to see so many opportunities opening up for us!
Campus: The classrooms are pretty good. We have three buildings for regular classes, plus a workshop and a special building for simulators for engineering and deck cadets. The food is better than other college messes, but it can get boring since it's repetitive. There are three hostels: two for cadets in 1st-3rd year and one for 4th-year cadets and ETO. Hostel 3 is the best, then it's hostel 2, and finally hostel 1.

Admission: The teachers here are really friendly and know their stuff. They teach well and the course content is practical. It helps us get ready for jobs in the field. The semester exams can be challenging, but the college exams are fair. Most students pass with a 90% or higher.
Placement: I'm really impressed with how this college helps students get jobs. All the students who are eligible get placed in top companies like MOL, BP, PIL, NYK, and more. Around 60-70% of students even get internships before graduating. The college really focuses on engineering and mechanical roles, giving students great opportunities to start their careers. It's awesome to see so many students finding jobs after graduation.
Campus: The college has great medical facilities and important services on campus. The infrastructure is top-notch for studying. Wi-Fi and labs are really good. The hostel facilities are nice. The mess food is very good with lots of different options. They have all kinds of sports available to play, and they organize various sports events on campus.

Admission: The teachers at TMI are really experienced and have sailed the seas. They share their sea knowledge with us. We have tests often to see how we're doing. If we're not doing well, they give us extra classes to help us out.
Placement: In my final year, almost 40 out of 220 students couldn't get placed because of their backlogs. If you clear all your backlogs, you have a 100% chance of getting placed. Some of the top companies that come for placements are Wallem, BP, Stena Gas, Chevron, Carnival Cruise, Fleet, Synergy, MOL, and more.
Campus: The best thing about TMI is the hostel life where students from all over the world hang out together. Hostel food is great, even the teachers eat there! You can get medical help any time, day or night. The classrooms are nice and the teachers are super helpful.

Placement: I go to Tolani Maritime Institute. They only offer maritime courses. The institute has a 100% placement rate. The lowest salary you can get is 6.5 LPA. The highest package they offer is 1.5 crores per year. Companies like MASK, BW, and Synergy hire from here. The main job they offer is superintendent.
Campus: The college campus and hostel are great. It's a big campus with all the facilities we need. There are separate grounds for different sports. The college is fully air-conditioned and every classroom has Wi-Fi. Each hostel room has its own LAN connection. The food and drinks at the college are top-notch and totally worth it.
