Admission: The teachers here are really focused on making sure we learn well, so they can be a bit strict. The exams have a mix of easy and tough questions that really make us think. The course workload is manageable, not too overwhelming.
Placement: I really like how this college sets us up with great job opportunities. Big companies like Google, Amazon, and others visit our campus for placements. The pay is pretty good too - about 8-10 LPA for core subjects and around 11 LPA for tech courses. It's a great boost for our future careers!
Campus: The campus is old-fashioned but really pretty because it's been around for a long time. The labs and workshops have all the stuff you need for learning. The hostels are cheap, and the food in the mess is good too.

Admission: The teachers here are definitely qualified and know their stuff. But not all of them are very helpful. The courses are okay, nothing special, like most colleges in India. Just studying the course won't prepare us for the industry. The semester exams are just average, not too tough or too easy.
Placement: The placement rate at UIET Chandigarh is usually around 80-90% every year. The highest salary offered is about ?30-40 Lakhs per year, while the lowest is around ?3-5 Lakhs per year. On average, students get about ?8-9 Lakhs per year. Some of the top companies that come for placements are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies, Amazon, Accenture, and L&T.
Campus: The infrastructure is okay, not too fancy. The classrooms and buildings are a bit old-fashioned, not very modern. The boys' hostel is below average, kind of outdated and not well-maintained. There's also a shortage of hostel rooms. But the food is actually pretty good, better than average.

Admission: The ECE program is pretty solid, just like at other colleges. The semester exams are challenging but not too tough. Most teachers are great and really know their stuff. There are a few not-so-great ones, though. The practical teachers are especially good.
Placement: Most seniors say around 7580% of ECE students get jobs. The average salary is about 89 LPA, with the highest at 45 LPA and the lowest at 4 LPA. Internships are a bit tough to find but doable. ECE students usually get placed in software and core roles, but software jobs are easier to land than core ones.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi everywhere which is great. The labs have all the stuff we need. Classrooms are basic, nothing special. The UIET library is okay, but the Panjab University one is really good. It's open to all UIET students. The hostel is okay, rooms are big but old. Food in the mess and canteen is pretty good. Sports facilities are awesome, they have almost every sport you can think of.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff. At first, they can be a little tough, but they're actually pretty good. The courses are like what you'd find at any college, and the exams have two small ones and one big one. You only have to do one small exam, but if you do both, they'll pick the better score.
Placement: The placements here are okay, not amazing, but you can still get a decent job offer. Instead of just looking at companies, work on improving your skills and consider off-campus opportunities. It's mostly up to you and what you choose to do. But the truth is, the placement rate is around 60%, which isn't as high as some other colleges.
Campus: The campus has great facilities, but getting a hostel spot is tough. Only around 25-30 spots per branch, which is not enough. You might have to find a PG nearby or rent a room as a guest. I wouldn't recommend coming here; it's better to stay away.

Admission: There aren't many full-time professors at the college, mostly guest lecturers. The curriculum is good, not too easy or too hard. It's up to you to prepare for the industry. The course will help you get started. The semester exams are pretty straightforward.
Placement: I studied at University Institute of Engineering and Technology. The placements are okay, with an average package. In my batch, most CSE and IT students got placed. The highest on-campus package this year is around 19 LPA, given by American Express. And off-campus, Amazon offered the highest package of 42 LPA.
Campus: The new hostel is really nice, with good infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available all the time, which is great. Sometimes there are issues with water supply, but they fix it quickly. The food in the hostels is just okay, nothing special. Overall, the college has good infrastructure.

Admission: The faculty here are super helpful. They share their knowledge with us and encourage us to get involved in projects. There are a lot of projects happening at the university. The exams are not too hard, just the right level of difficulty.
Placement: The campus offers placements to 70 students, and 35 have already gotten jobs. The average salary is between 5 to 7 LPA. Some students got internships with ZS Associates, and there are more roles available through GET for placements. The placement session is still ongoing.
Campus: The campus has Wi-Fi for all students and each department has its own library. There's also a 24X7 library for combined universities. The hostels have a study room and there are indoor gym and games. Lots of resources to help with studies and relaxation!

Admission: The faculty here are mostly good. Some you might not click with, but they're all smart and know their stuff. The curriculum got a revamp this year, and it's way better now. They ditched a bunch of useless subjects and brought in some new ones. Good changes all around!
Placement: The college offers great job opportunities with top companies like Cisco, Wal-Mart, and Amex. Even though only a few students get selected by these companies, they offer good pay packages ranging from 25 to 30 LPA. Zs Associates is another company that frequently visits our campus. In the CSE department, around 70 to 80% of students get placed with salaries above 10 LPA.
Campus: The university is pretty old, so the hostels are old too. They've done construction work regularly to keep them nice. Some hostels are new. Each hostel has a reading room with AC, a common room with AC and TV, and their own gym. There's also a park, basketball court, and spots for sports like badminton and cricket.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful, and they all know their stuff. The semester exams aren't too hard, so it's not too stressful to get good grades. We have two small tests worth 30 marks each, and we just need to do well in one of them. After that, there's a big final exam worth 50 marks. Plus, we can earn 30 marks through assignments and attendance points given by the teachers.
Placement: Most students in ECE get placed, around 85%. The top package is 45 Lacs, with an average of 9 Lacs. Companies like American Express, ZS, Amazon, TCS, and Infosys hire here. You have to find internships on your own. ECE offers options in tech or core. It's a great chance for ECE students.
Campus: The campus is quiet with Wi-Fi available. The hostels have top-notch infrastructure and yummy food. Medical facilities are good and sports opportunities are great. The campus has a canteen and a huge 24-hour library (AC Joshi Library). The labs are good, and practicals are well organized.

Admission: The classes are not too tough compared to other colleges. The teachers are nice if you show them respect. Staying on track is important. The mid-term exams are not too difficult; one of them is easier than the other. The final exams are also fair. You need at least 40 out of 100 to pass each subject.
Placement: The placement scene here is pretty good for Computer Science students. They offer around 12 LPA, which is not bad at all. The placement rate is high, around 80-90%. The highest package on campus goes up to 45 LPA. They also have summer internships available during the first two weeks of summer break.
Campus: The facilities here are pretty good for the fees we pay. Hostel costs only 1k INR a month, which is a steal in Chandigarh. The sports facilities are awesome, and the campus is really nice. Being connected to Panjab University has its perks too.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really great. They know their stuff and are always ready to help. The teaching quality is okay. The courses we take are practical and prepare us for the real world. The exams can be tough, so we need to put in the effort. The passing rate is around 50%, so it's important to study hard.
Placement: Most students in my course get jobs, like around 90%. The highest salary is 13 LPA, while the average is 7 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Big companies like ZS, Deloitte, Jungle Works come for placements. About 70% of students also get internships. The popular job roles are software developer, data analyst, penetration tester, etc.
Campus: The Wi-Fi at our college is okay, but it's better in the library and labs. The overall setup of the college is just okay. The classrooms are average, but the library and labs are pretty good. The hostel facilities are average too. They give us free water and washing machines, which is nice. The hostel mess is not great, but the canteen is good. We also have good sports facilities and a free gym in the hostel.
