Admission: The exams at college are tough because they have three parts: internals, viva, practicals, and theory papers. When we have theory exams, they check us really well to make sure no one cheats. We can't have our devices in the exam hall, so we have to keep them in our bags, which are kept away from our desks.
Placement: There are different forensic labs all over the country, run by both private and government organizations. In my batch, there are about 60 students. We don't have on-campus job placements, so finding internships can be tough. We're not sure about the salary packages either. Hopefully, the government will look into these problems.
Campus: Our college doesn't have a hostel, but it's in a cool old building that looks really nice. The only downside is the bad network connection and no Wi-Fi. Plus, there's no canteen, which is weird for a college in Mumbai.

Admission: The teachers here are really good at explaining everything in class. They're always there to help with any questions we have. The exams are tough, but it keeps us on track. The pass rate for this course is pretty average. You don't have to work too hard, but there are lots of cool opportunities after you finish.
Placement: Getting admission here is pretty competitive, with about half of the students making it in. After graduating with a Bachelor of Banking and Insurance (BBI), you can expect to earn around 3-4 LPA in India, which is like Rs 25,000-33,333 per month. They don't set you up with a job, but they do help you out with advice on your courses, future plans, exams, and job opportunities.
Campus: The place is pretty good and always clean. The food in the canteen is just okay. They have sports and other fun stuff to do. It's cool that they push us to join in activities and events.

Admission: The teachers at TSEC are really good. They know their stuff and are always there to help. They teach in a way that helps us learn practical things. The course we study is all about what's needed in the industry. The exams are a bit tough, but most people pass with an 85-90% success rate.
Placement: I'm in the Computer Engineering batch at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Bandra. For our batch, the placement rate is super high at around 86.5%. The top package was 55 LPA, and on average, we're getting 12 LPA. We've got top companies like Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Oracle, Deloitte, and Zycus coming in to recruit. More than 60% of us landed internships at Deutsche Bank with a monthly pay of Rs. 75,000. The roles they offer are software developer, analyst, and business development associate. Great opportunities here!
Campus: Thadomal Shahani Engineering College has classrooms with Wi-Fi, computer labs, a library, and seminar halls. They don't have their own hostel, but they work with others. The food in the canteen is pretty good. They also have sports and medical help if you need it.

Admission: The teachers really know their stuff and they're super helpful. They also offer certification courses which is awesome. The semester exams are challenging but fair, not too hard or too easy.
Placement: I really like how the college offers extra courses besides regular classes. It's cool to have different opportunities to learn. However, the job placements for Bachelor's students aren't that great because there are lots of students going for the same degree. The college and department do support us with other courses and certifications, which could be useful for finding a job later on.
Campus: I really like the college because the classrooms are nice and the campus is huge and well-kept. There's a great library and a reading hall where you can study whenever you want during college hours. Plus, the food in the canteen is pretty tasty too.

Admission: The teachers are okay, but some can be pretty mean. You really have to study on your own for exams. The courses don't really get you ready for working in the real world. Not a lot of students pass their exams on the first try because the teachers don't really understand what students need.
Placement: The college has good placements. Around 94 out of 99 students got job offers. The highest salary is 8.2 LPA, average is 5.9 LPA, and lowest is 4.7 LPA. Companies visiting the campus: 34. No internships are provided. 20 to 30 students got placed with salaries from 3 to 12 LPA.
Campus: The classrooms are big and the campus is nice. It's okay, but the canteen and sports stuff need some work. The campus is huge, like 80 acres of greenery. It's a good place to learn and grow. The college is in Karjat, Maharashtra, and it's set up for a good learning experience.

Admission: The teachers here are super helpful and know their stuff really well. They teach with top-notch quality. The courses they teach are spot on and get us ready for the real world.
Placement: The placement cell is super helpful and really works with us students. They make sure we know everything we need to. They also give us tips and get us ready for interviews. Lots of students got good jobs with great pay, better than other colleges.
Campus: I really like the college and hostel here. They have a big library and classrooms where we can study. The canteen is awesome, and everything is clean. They also have good medical facilities and sports areas. It's a great place to be.

Admission: The teachers here really know their stuff, but they can be pretty strict. They're always reminding us to bring our ID cards. During exams, there are usually a couple of teachers around to help out or answer questions. It keeps us on our toes and ready for what's ahead.
Placement: I really like the courses at this college. The companies that come for recruitment may not be big, but they pay well. On average, students get offered around 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. A good chunk of students, like 55 to 60%, manage to secure internships in places like accounting firms and banks.
Campus: The library at our college is awesome! They have glass shelves and even put up noise breakers in the classroom. No matter how noisy it gets outside, it's super quiet inside the library. Plus, the library and canteen have plenty of space and offer lots of food options. Love studying and chilling there!

Admission: The teaching was good, but the college needs to pay more attention to what students do outside of campus and improve security. Some guys bully others and some drink outside. The college hasn't done anything about it yet. There are a few pan shops nearby where students smoke, and the college hasn't taken any action on this issue either.
Placement: I was disappointed because they didn't offer any placement services. Only a few students found jobs through the college. The placement cell seemed to only help certain students. When I asked about it, they said there were no placements available. It's a bummer that they can't help with placements at the moment.
Campus: The college didn't have any hostels, but the infrastructure was good. They didn't keep it clean regularly, only when visitors or inspectors were coming. People from Mumbai University came to grade the college, so they put a TV on the ground floor to impress them.

Admission: The teachers in the B.Sc. course were okay. Some knew their stuff well and were nice, but others were not as good at teaching. The classes were mostly about theory and didn't focus much on practical skills for the industry.
Placement: I finished my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry in 2025. The job options for us Chemistry students were a bit scarce. The best offer was about 4-5 LPA, and most people got around 2-5 LPA. Around 30-40% of us got placed in the college.
Campus: The B.Sc. course infrastructure was okay. Classrooms were simple and had some smart technology labs, but they needed better equipment, especially in Science. The library was alright, had lots of reference books, but not much digital stuff. Wi-Fi was there, but it was usually slow and not always working well.

Admission: The teachers are great and really helpful, but the course content could use some work. The exams each semester are okay, with a mix of internal and external assessments, plus viva and presentations. The main subjects have exams for 50 marks, while the rest are for 30 marks.
Placement: The college doesn't offer internships, but some students get placed in companies like Motilal Oswal. Not a lot of students get internships. The highest salary package is around 14 Lacs CTC. Students get roles in finance management, analysis, and portfolio management.
Campus: The building has six stories and the facilities are okay, with a canteen. The library is great and it's on the top floor. The campus isn't too big. The washrooms can get clogged sometimes, but they keep them clean.
