Admission: I'm in the CSE program, so I'll talk about the CSE teachers. They're really nice and get us, but some can be tough. Still, they're cool and don't care about your grades before. If we're stuck, they're there for us. Most of them have PhDs.
Placement: I'm currently in the CSE branch at Vemana Institute of Technology. The placements here are pretty good. In the last batch, the highest package was 27 LPA, and the average was 7 LPA. Companies like Accenture, Mahindra, and IBM were the top recruiters. Around 70-80% of students got placed, which is not bad at all. Overall, I'd say the placements at Vemana are decent, not amazing but above average.
Campus: I can't speak for the boys' hostel, but the girls' hostel on campus is pretty good. The warden is nice, the food is tasty (especially for South Indian students), though North Indian students might need time to adjust. They've got good facilities, like pad disposal bins and stuff you need. There's no canteen here, but the library is awesome. It's got all you need and you can study there too.

Admission: The teachers at our college are really good. We're affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, VTU for short. The exams are pretty tough though. We get 40 marks for the internal exam and 60 marks for the external one. The passing rate is only 21%.
Placement: The job placements at our college are okay.
Campus: The sports facilities are okay. There's a small playground you can use. The campus is on the smaller side and there's just one canteen.

Admission: The teachers here are really experienced and know their stuff. We've got senior faculty, like the dean and principal, who share their wisdom with us. They make learning fun and inspire us to study. This college is a great place to learn and grow.
Placement: Around half of the students in our course got jobs. The highest salary was Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 25,000 per month. The average salary was Rs. 15,000 per month. Companies like Mindtree, Huawei, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Sonata Software, Radel, etc., came for placements. They offered roles like graduate engineer trainee, software developer, network engineer, etc.
Campus: Our college doesn't have sports because the management isn't into it. I've competed nationally for our university 3 times, but we never got cash prizes or help from any teacher. The college's buildings are old since it opened in 1999, but they've started tearing down some and building new ones in 2017. They also organize an IEEE conference. Recently, the college made a new parking lot for bikes and cars.

Admission: The faculty at this college are amazing! They really know their stuff and make learning easy. They help build the college's reputation by being so knowledgeable and giving fair exams.
Placement: The placements here are great, with high-paying jobs on offer. The placement cell really helps us understand what companies are looking for and how to stand out. It's super important for us freshers to know the basics of the corporate world, and this college does a good job preparing us for that.
Campus: The hostel has a kitchen that everyone can use to cook meals. It's a good idea because eating out all the time can be expensive. Besides the kitchen, there are also areas where we can all eat together. It's nice to have that option.

Admission: The teachers were okay. They helped us out and answered our questions. The teaching was decent. Exams were pretty simple, and they gave us study materials too.
Placement: About 30% of students in my course got jobs after graduation. The highest salary was 7 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average was 3.5 LPA. Around 15% of students got internships. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Princeton Engineers, and Acmegrade Pvt Ltd hired students. Some students struggled to find placements because of the recession.
Campus: The facilities at our college were top-notch. The labs were awesome, classrooms were big, and hostel rooms were nice. Unfortunately, the campus didn't have Wi-Fi. The library was okay, but the food quality was really good. Overall, a pretty solid experience.

Admission: The teaching staff here is amazing! The teachers really know their stuff and have a lot of experience. The courses here prepare us well for jobs and make learning fun. I really like the curriculum.
Placement: Most students in our college got placed, with many landing high-paying jobs. The top companies that hire from here are Amazon, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, and Samsung. I'm studying computer science engineering, and this college is great for placements. The teachers are really supportive during the placement process.
Campus: The classrooms are big and airy, which is nice. We've got libraries, playgrounds, and labs that have all the stuff we need. Plus, there are study areas, chairs, and basic things like water and electricity. There's also a place for studying, games, and hanging out, making the college a cool place for us students.

Admission: The teachers here are really good at what they do. They use cool technology to teach us. The curriculum is great and helps us grow in all areas. We get to attend webinars and seminars by experts in the field, which is super helpful for understanding what's happening in the real world.
Placement: Around half of the students in my electronics and communications branch get placed. The highest salary offered is 15 lakhs per annum, while the lowest is 3 lakhs. On average, students get around 4.5 lakhs per year. Big companies like TCS, HCL, Sonata, Capgemini, Infosys, and Wipro come for placements. They offer roles like assistant software engineer, system engineer, software developer, and assistant test engineer to freshers.
Campus: The campus has everything we need free Wi-Fi, big classrooms, clean canteens, and labs. There are research centers, a place for new ideas, and halls for talks. The hostel is nice and tidy. They serve good food with lots of choices, and it's always on time. If you're sick, they'll take care of you. They make sure we can study and play sports to grow in every way.

Admission: The teachers here are really good and know their stuff. They've got all the right qualifications, like master's degrees. They really prepare us well for the real world. The exams can be tough, but most of us manage to pass. I'd say about 90% of students in our department make it through.
Placement: Most students get jobs after college, around 80-90%. The top salary is 26 LPA, average is 7 LPA, and lowest is 3.5 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Lenovo, and Flipkart hire students. 70% of students do internships, which really helps with finding jobs later. After the course, you can get jobs like Full Stack Developer, Backend Developer, Manager, and more.
Campus: The labs are super clean, and we've got Wi-Fi in our department. Classrooms are well-kept, and the library is huge with lots of helpful books for exams. The food in the canteen is top-notch. Medical services are good, and we have awesome sports and games available.

Admission: The professors here are super smart and have lots of experience. They're really nice and always ready to help us out. They explain things with examples, making it easier to understand. I feel like everyone in my class could pass because of how they teach.
Placement: The job opportunities are pretty good these days. Before lockdown, 70% of students got placed, and now there are even more chances for ECE students. This year, almost 8590% of ECE students got placed in IT and core companies. They also provide training to help students get placed.
Campus: I really like the college environment here. The faculty and everyone else are really nice. The college has Wi-Fi for students, which is super convenient. The labs are well equipped with good circuits. The canteen is pretty big, which is great because lots of students can eat there at once.

Admission: The teachers here are really helpful, but not all of them are great at teaching. Some professors are awesome and make the subjects easier to understand. They make sure most students get what they're teaching. If we do badly in our internals, they let us retake them as long as we pass on average. The course isn't that practical, but it's because they follow the VTU syllabus. The first year is a bit of a waste with irrelevant subjects, but things pick up in the second year with our main course. The semester exams are easy if we study. They mostly ask questions from previous years, and teachers give us hints on what's important. If we focus on those, passing is a piece of cake. Just study the old questions, and you'll have 90% of the exam covered.
Placement: I'm super excited about all the placements happening at our college right now. Already, 74 students got jobs in cool companies like Teach Mahindra, TCS, Acko, and more. The highest salary is 20 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Top companies like Accenture, Amazon, Bosch, and Cognizant are hiring students. It's awesome to see so many of us landing great opportunities!
Campus: The infrastructure at VIT is pretty basic, not too fancy. The canteen has been closed for over a year. The labs are good with strong Wi-Fi. Classrooms are big and comfy. The library has a ton of books. The hostel is just okay, not amazing. The mess food used to be bad, but we complained and got a new mess guy. Now the food is good. Unfortunately, there's no ground for us to play any games on campus. Sports aren't really a thing here since there's no place to play.
