Admission: The teacher-to-student ratio at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is really good. The staff and faculty are super friendly and always willing to help. The courses and curriculum are well-balanced. Plus, there are lots of fun activities for students to join in with. It's a great place to study!

Placement: I heard that since Covid, the placements at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology have been getting better. The highest package is around 36-37 LPA. I can't wait for the campus placement and I'm really hopeful about it.

Campus: I really enjoy the campus life at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. There are many clubs where students can show off their talents. The library is huge with lots of books that are super helpful for studying. The only downside is that there's no hostel available.

Admission: The teachers, courses, and tests are okay. The exams are flexible because the college is autonomous. Some teachers are really nice and help with questions and projects. They also help with internship stuff if you need it.

Placement: There are lots of companies that come to our campus for hiring. Big names like TCS, Wipro, and Accenture come here. The placement team is really helpful. Around 60-70% of students get placed every year. The highest salary offered off-campus is 20 LPA, and the average salary is 6 LPA.

Campus: The college has great infrastructure, especially the auditorium. They have Wi-Fi, a library, and a game area. There are a few food places on campus. The canteen food is okay, but they also have Nescafe and CCD.

Admission: This college is pretty independent. Our syllabus is a bit unique compared to Mumbai University, but not too different. We have tests every Monday which prepare us for the final exams. The teachers are all really helpful and are quick to clear up any doubts we have.

Placement: Lots of students found jobs on campus, though I'm not sure about the exact percentage. The average package is around 5 to 6 LPA, which is pretty good. One student even landed an off-campus job with a salary of 27 LPA! Last semester, everyone had the chance to do internships at places like CDAC, IITB, and IIM. It's great that they offer these opportunities to students.

Campus: The classrooms and labs are cool with good machines that work well. The college has a bunch of software like cadence and Turnitin. Plus, there's a big library. No hostel, but lots of PGs nearby. The canteen food is yummy, healthy, and not pricey. And there are cool facilities like video games and a pool table. Loads of fun games to play too!

Admission: The teachers at our college really know their stuff. They're not just book smart, they also have real-world experience. They keep up with what's happening in the industry. They don't just teach theory, they share practical knowledge too. Our course is great because it doesn't focus on outdated stuff. Instead, they add new subjects to prepare us for the industry. For example, we have a subject called design thinking where we come up with unique ideas to solve real problems. We also study Advance Java, which is not common in other colleges. The exams are fair, you just need 40% to pass.

Placement: I'm currently studying Information Technology at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. Around 75-80% of students here end up with jobs after graduation. The highest salary package for our course is 37.5 Lacs per year from UNIQLO, and another company called 'Work Application' offers 35 Lacs per year. On average, most students land jobs with a salary of 3.5 - 4 Lacs per year. The lowest package offered is 1.5 Lacs per year. The top companies that hire our IT students are Work Application, UNIQLO, TCS, Wipro, and Jio. If you have a good CGPA, chances are high that you'll get placed. Many students also land internships at IIT Allahabad, IIT Mumbai, oil corporations, L&T, and more. There are plenty of opportunities here, with various job roles available for students like me.

Campus: The college Wi-Fi is awesome, you just need to check your email once you're in. The labs are cool with around 30-35 PCs, comfy chairs, and AC. They have innovation labs for projects where faculty helps out. You can chill in the library or do group study in the reading room. No hostels nearby, but the canteens are top-notch. There are two canteensone for Western food and one for Indian. Plus, vending machines for snacks. The college has all the stationary you need, a medical room, and a lost and found. Outdoor sports ground and indoor games area are perfect for fun. And don't forget gaming on the PCs!

Admission: The teachers here are awesome! They're super helpful, experienced, and well-qualified. Some are new but still good, and some are even doing their Ph.D. The courses are spot on, getting us ready for the industry. Love it here!

Placement: I joined my course in 2024, and noticed that about 35% of students got placed. In 2023, the placement rate was higher at around 45%. Companies like TCS and Infosys offered packages around 3 lakhs. As a first-year student, I don't have all the details about internships yet. The college hasn't provided much internship data.

Campus: The facilities at my college are pretty good. We have Wi-Fi and lots of labs like Chemistry, Physics, innovation, practical, mechanics, computer, information technology, digital, digital electronics, graphic, and professional skills labs.

Admission: The teachers here are super experienced, most of them got their Ph.D. from abroad. The staff is awesome and always there to help. They guide us and push us to do well in our studies. The exams are really hard, but it's worth it because this is the top private engineering college in Mumbai. We get assignments every week, but everyone puts in the effort and we all manage to pass.

Placement: I really appreciate how the college supports us in finding internships and jobs. They say around 80% of students get placed, which is awesome. This year, about 70% of us found jobs, but some of the main subjects had fewer placements. I think we could use more chances for internships, like in industries, to learn more. The placement team works hard all year to bring in companies from India and abroad. They try to get big companies to visit our college, but it also depends on what we want.

Campus: The Wi-Fi here is kinda slow, but the rest is pretty good. The college has nice buildings and classrooms. We got a gym and separate common rooms for guys and girls. Oh, and the hostel is cool too, but the girls' and guys' hostels are quite far apart, like 1 kilometer. The food in the mess is different for North and South students. The hostel is in Navi Mumbai, around 20 kilometers away, but you can get there in just 30 minutes by train. So, no big deal!

Admission: I really liked the course setup at this college. The classes were tough but manageable, and the curriculum was well-rounded. The teachers knew their stuff and were super supportive. Plus, there were lots of fun activities outside of class that made my time here awesome.

Placement: Our batch of 2023 didn't get any placements. The fourth-year students got paid around 5-6 LPA on average, and the highest salary was 36.5 LPA. The top company that hired students was Reliance, as per what the seniors shared with me.

Campus: I really enjoyed the campus life at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. There are lots of clubs where we can show off our skills, and the library has tons of books to help with our studies. But the Wi-Fi is super bad, hardly ever works, so it's pretty much useless.

Admission: The curriculum follows the latest National Education Policy. It's definitely more current than other colleges. The faculty teaches us how to apply what we learn, but there's room for improvement. Some subjects feel outdated or unnecessary for our field. I see them as extra, but you still need to pass their exams.

Placement: Most seniors say more than 90% of Computer Engineering students get placed. TCS and Jio are the top companies hiring. Average salary is around 5 Lacs, but some get over 20 LPA off-campus. Internships start in the 3rd year. I'm in 2nd year, so can't say much, but seniors say keeping your LinkedIn profile updated helps to get internships. Software roles are the most popular.

Campus: The campus here in Mumbai is top-notch. They have free Wi-Fi and labs with all the stuff you need. The library is big too. The food at the canteen is tasty and doesn't cost much. You can also grab a bite at Nescafe or Cafe Coffee Day, or check out Ribbons & Balloons for puffs and sweets. The college puts on cool events and sports tournaments. Plus, they have two gymkhanas where you can play indoor games like carrom, chess, table tennis, pool, and air hockey. One of them even has a PS5!

Admission: The teachers here are really friendly and easy to talk to. But, some of them aren't great at teaching and don't have much experience. Don't worry, though, most of them have PhDs. The courses are pretty practical and get you ready for the job market, with stuff like C, DSA, OOPs in Java, and Advanced Java. However, some of the hardware classes don't really fit my IT major. We have tests every Monday for different subjects, and the average of those tests counts as our mid-semester exam. At the end of each semester, we have final exams. It's not too hard, and most students pass.

Placement: During my 4 years here, companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple, and Deloitte come for placements. The highest salary offered is around 35 LPA and the lowest is 7-8 LPA. The placement rate seems to be going down lately. This year, in my IT course, no one has been placed yet. But we do get internships in web and app development from good companies. Most students who want internships can get them.

Campus: The college here has great infrastructure, better than other colleges at the same level. The canteen food is good but a bit pricey. All classrooms have AC and digital boards. The library has books related to our studies. Wi-Fi is available, but in some areas, it's not so good. There are two sports grounds and clean washrooms. No hostel here, so students rent rooms nearby or share a flat with others.

Admission: The teachers here are awesome and super helpful. They support us whenever we need it and really push us to do our best. They make sure we have all the resources we need to learn more about any topic. Plus, they help us figure out our strengths and weaknesses so we can improve. The college is great because it's autonomous, meaning they design all the course content. In each semester, you need at least 40 marks out of 100 to pass. We have two Mid-Semester Exams (MSE) that count towards our final grade, along with an End-Semester Exam (ESE) and some assignments. We have a total of 11 assignments, but only 10 of them are counted for our Internal Assessment (ISA).

Placement: I graduated in 2025 and landed a job in TCS and Capgemini with a salary between 4-5 lakhs from my branch. The placements in other branches were also great. However, since biomedical is a new and demanding field, not many job opportunities were available. That's why a lot of my classmates chose to pursue higher studies instead.

Campus: The hostel isn't on campus, but the college itself is great. Wi-Fi is available for everyone, which is awesome. The labs are top-notch, and classrooms have smartboards and AC. The library is a nice place to study. They also have CC labs in case you don't have a laptop. Overall, a good place for studying.
