Admission: Reviewing the admission process at Womens Christian College highlighted efficiency, as every step from application to document verification was well-managed. Merit list details were clear, staff were supportive, and orientation helped students settle quickly.
Academic: Because our institute is autonomous, we follow our very own syllabus. The teachers here are quite welcoming and genuinely care about us students. They are all qualified people and have amazing knowledge in English, so the teaching quality is truly the best. If you're willing to put in the effort for the syllabus, you'll definitely manage. However, the exams are a bit tough, and the marking system also feels strict. You need to get 40% to pass, and clearing the end semester exam on its own is a must. The final result is basically an average of your internal marks and the semester examination.
Placement: From my experience, about 70% of students in one batch got placed. Since this is a base course, you won't find direct company recruitments here. However, there are lots of overseas study programs available, and you can get scholarships for them too. This course helps you a lot with communication skills, time management, and even leadership. Overall, you will get a really good understanding of your subject with this course.
Campus: You know, the infrastructure here is really awesome, especially compared to many other colleges. Our department comes with two language labs and a library which is open for everyone. Plus, they give Wi-Fi in departments for our laptops, which is super useful. Each year has its own set of classrooms too. About the food, the canteen food is actually not that bad, way better than what you get in some other hostels. Yes, the hostel rules are a bit strict, but on the bright side, it has all the facilities you need, like a study hall and a reading room inside.

Admission: Beginning my admission journey at Womens Christian College turned out smooth, as the merit list notification arrived on time after application submission. Counselling and document verification were well-managed by supportive staff, while final registration and fee payment were straightforward, leading to a pleasant orientation.
Academic: Most of our teachers have a PhD, which is good, and some of them teach super well. The course itself is easy to understand, but sometimes it's a bit tough to finish all the syllabus before exams. Around 68% clear the internal tests, and for the main semester exams, about 70% usually pass. But honestly, the course doesn't make us ready for the IT industry. What we learn here is very less compared to what's actually needed outside.
Placement: Around 12% of students from our batch got placed this year. I was lucky to get selected for an Associate Technical Engineer role, and my salary package is 4.25 LPA. Big companies like Deloitte and Kyndryl Solutions also hired from our college. What I noticed is that even for master's degree holders, mostly trainee roles were offered, just like for us UG students. The monthly salary difference between a UG and PG getting a trainee role was very small, only a few thousands.
Campus: My experience at WCC is that the campus looks very nice, full of nature. There's a hostel inside the college, but it's really strict, you can't go out easily. Plus, I heard staying in the WCC hostel costs a lot of money. We have a general library and also a library just for our department. Labs are available too, and for my IT studies, we used different classrooms for different subjects. Medical facilities are there if needed. The canteen is okay, but during lunch break, it gets very crowded so you don't get enough time to eat. We do have a sports day every year, but sports don't get much importance. The main focus is on studies and attendance here.

Admission: Navigating admission at Womens Christian College felt streamlined, with an easy-to-use online application portal. Document verification was thorough, staff explained steps clearly, and timely communication about the merit list and registration reduced anxiety. Orientation was well-organized.
Academic: For our BCA course, the teachers really focus on making us ready for the industry by giving good projects and internships. We also get trained in soft skills, which is helpful. There are many certificate courses available for us to do as well. But sometimes, teachers just finish their lessons and leave, they don't really give much personal attention. Anyway, to pass each semester, we must clear both CIA 1 and CIA 2 exams.
Placement: In my batch, almost everyone got an internship because it was actually a subject in our third semester. Talking about placements this year, about 15 out of 50 students from our college got jobs through campus interviews. Companies like IBM, HDFC Bank, and Wipro came for hiring. The average salary package they offered was 3 LPA.
Campus: College campus has a really good library filled with books on every topic you can imagine. We also have a free Apollo pharmacy available for everyone. Plus, every week there's an assembly hour where a speaker comes to talk about different subjects, which helps us learn new things.

Admission: Following the admission journey at Womens Christian College felt smooth, from online application to campus document verification. Staff answered queries patiently during registration, and the orientation session provided a clear roadmap.
Academic: Semester exams here are pretty tough and create a lot of pressure. This is mainly because you must have 85% attendance, and they dont accept any medical certificates for missing classes. Our teachers, though, are very well-qualified and good at teaching. For passing, you need to score above 40%, and they add your internal marks to that.
Placement: My college doesn't have any big companies coming for recruitment, and they don't even offer internships to everyone. If you want an internship, you generally have to go find it yourself. Only students with really good grades get any college-provided internships. Still, around 70% of the students in my course manage to get placed somehow.
Campus: Campus has a really wonderful infrastructure, it looks super good. They give us very good facilities here, like well-developed labs and a nice library. The classrooms have a lot of space for students, which is great. You can also use your phones inside the campus area. The whole campus is full of greenery, making it very pleasant. About the hostel, the food they provide is quite good, but sometimes the timings for meals are a bit too early.

Admission: Choosing WCC for admission proved straightforward, with clearly explained online registration and document verification. Staff handled queries well, regular updates about the merit list were shared, and the overall admission journey felt stress-free.
Academic: For our course at this college, the teachers are really qualified and know a lot. They have good experience and teach us very nicely. Also, the syllabus for our course is quite relevant, which really helps us get ready for jobs in the industry. Passing the semester exams here is not very tough at all.
Placement: At Women's Christian College, for M.Sc. students, about 30-35% get placed. The college really offers good chances for both placements and internships. The average salary package offered here usually falls between 3 to 6 LPA. Many different research institutes are the top companies that come to recruit our students. You can get roles like researchers, project heads, or even work in HR.
Campus: For students studying Physiology, our college offers really nice facilities. We have good Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a canteen, and also sports facilities. The college hostels are also of good quality, and the mess food there is actually quite tasty.

Admission: Undertaking admission at WCC felt well-managed, as communication stayed clear from application form filling to document verification. After appearing on the merit list, counselling guided me properly, and registration was hassle-free.
Academic: Our college has a really good curriculum. It makes classes super engaging for us students. We also get a lot of projects throughout the year, which keeps us interactive and always learning new things. The teachers here are great at teaching, and they even do regular one-on-one sessions with students for better interaction.
Placement: My college really focuses on placements, especially for our 2022-2024 batch. We had great opportunities, with about 90% of students getting placed. The highest package offered was INR 12 LPA, and the average for most students was INR 8 LPA. Big companies like KPMG and PwC came to recruit, offering roles like research analyst and quality assurance engineer.
Campus: College isn't super fancy when we talk about infrastructure, and the campus is not extremely big. But still, some facilities are available to us all day, everyday. We get Wi-Fi access, which is good. The labs are also well-equipped with all the tools and other stuff needed. Classrooms are small but they have good ventilation. Only thing is, the mess food on campus isn't that great.

Admission: Completing admission at Womens Christian College was a smooth experience, with straightforward application form filling and a punctual merit list. Document verification was detailed but supported by helpful staff, and everything from registration to orientation was clearly communicated.
Academic: Our teachers here are really great, their teaching style is the best. They are also super friendly with everyone and always appreciate students, doesn't matter if you get low marks or high marks.
Placement: From my experience, internships were available for both IT and non-IT departments, and most of the students who did them got placed. Some even got really good posts like manager or other high-level jobs. I guess around 30% of the graduates managed to get jobs with good salaries. My friends who studied in this college also got good jobs after finishing.
Campus: Our college campus is always neat and clean, especially the labs, classrooms, and restrooms. The hostel facility is also really good here. If you need any medical help, the medical room is always open for students. Plus, our college supports a lot of sports and always encourages us to join in, and the canteen food is always good too.

Admission: Completing my admission at WCC felt organized, with clear online application steps and merit list display. Counselling and document verification were smooth with staff support, and registration concluded the process efficiently.
Academic: Only two teachers were there for M.Sc. Data Science in our first year. These teachers were helpful, but the main issue was completing a semester in just three months. Because of such a short time, we couldn't really learn much depth. The course curriculum is relevant, no doubt about that. But honestly, I don't feel it makes us fully ready for the industry. We have to put in effort ourselves, practice a lot, and explore more things beyond classes.
Placement: Women's Christian College started the M.Sc. Data Science course in the academic year 2022-23. Data Science is a very popular and new field right now, so many colleges are offering it these days. WCC is known for its good academics and studies. We really hope that the placements will also be good here, as it will give us good job opportunities.
Campus: When I joined, it was the first batch, so the syllabus was a bit rushed. But the good thing is, all the courses in this degree are super useful. I learned the basics of 2-3 programming languages in just one year, which was great. Other skill courses were also very interesting and helped a lot with our studies. Even though I am a day scholar, I heard from many hostel friends that the hostel is very clean and good. They also said the food served there is much better.

Admission: Entering WCC felt quite smooth, as the online application was easy to manage and the counselling call came quickly after the merit list. Document verification was well-organized by helpful staff, registration was efficient, and the orientation provided a clear start with good communication throughout.
Academic: The semester exams here are not very hard, honestly. Students can clear them easily, and you only need like 50% marks to pass. About the course, it's pretty good and updated, so it's useful for what the industry needs. And our teachers? They are super helpful, always ready to guide us with their knowledge, and their teaching style is really educational.
Placement: Talking about placements in our college, they're quite good. Around 40% of students got placed in famous hospitals. Top ones like Kilpauk Medical Hospital even come to our campus to hire. The highest salary someone got was 8 LPA, the average is 3 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Most of us get roles in service learning, doing community work or working in clinical settings.
Campus: What I like most about our college is the good sports facilities available, plus they have inter-department sports competitions and a full sports day too. Inside, every classroom has LED screens, and the labs are really well-equipped. We also have a college library for students. The food experience is just average, nothing special. Physical education is a must for first-year UG students, but it's not handled very well. On the bright side, there are good medical facilities for all students here.

Admission: Submitting an application to WCC was simple, thanks to an easy-to-navigate portal. After the merit list, registration and document verification steps were clearly communicated, counselling staff were helpful, and guidance remained consistent throughout.
Academic: Teachers here are all PhD scholars and they explain everything really well, giving full details on every topic. The teaching quality is actually perfect, and they even ask for our feedback at the end of every semester. The course curriculum is always updated with today's technology, and they keep making changes to it yearly. For semester exams, they are usually moderate. Scoring very high marks can be tough, but passing the exams is super easy here.
Placement: For our final year, placements were quite good. Out of 45 students in our batch, many got campus offers from big IT companies. We saw top companies like Intel, Infosys, World Bank, and Amazon come for interviews, which was great. Besides placements, students also got to do internships at cool places like Floranix, National Institute of Ocean Technology, and Anna University.
Campus: The library in our college is seriously huge, packed with countless books, and it's air-conditioned too. Mess food quality is quite good, and they are very strict about serving only healthy food. For medical stuff, we have Apollo Shine care right here. Our college buildings are super strong, no damage even happened during a cyclone. We have gallery classrooms and laboratories that are very well-equipped with modern facilities. Sports are a big part of college life, with a really competitive atmosphere. There are frequent inter-collegiate and intra-departmental sports matches, and the Sports Day is definitely the best event of the year.
