Admission: Entry into World University of Design felt surprisingly smooth. The online portal was intuitive, aptitude test and interview rounds were professionally handled, and after the merit list, document verification and registration were clearly guided by helpful staff.

Academic: In my college, exams are not very difficult if you study properly in class. Actually, in this field, the practical work or viva is more important than written exams. For this viva, they ask you about all the work you did throughout the whole semester. Our faculty members are also really helpful; you can ask them any doubts whenever you need.

Placement: The placement scenario here is pretty strong. Almost everyone gets a placement and also good internships. Many big companies come to our campus, like Nykaa and Flipkart. Also, for fashion, brands like Ritu Kumar and Amit Aggarwal visit for recruitment. About 90% of students got placed. When we talk about salaries, the highest package was 22 lakhs, and the lowest package offered was 7 lakhs.

Campus: The hostel life here is great. The environment inside the hostel is really good. You get lots of facilities, like every room has AC, and there's medical help and laundry services. The food is also very nice here. For sports, there are so many options like football, badminton, and basketball to play.

Admission: Admission steps at World University of Design felt quite streamlined from start to finish. The WUDAT entrance exam, portfolio review, and interview progressed efficiently, followed by professional document verification and registration. Clear guidelines and a helpful orientation made joining feel organized.

Academic: Our teachers are really good, with most of them coming from NID or IIT, so they have lots of experience. The curriculum here makes us totally ready for the industry. What's cool is we dont have those exams where you write long answers. Instead, we have juries and practical exams, which just makes more sense for design students like us.

Placement: I am an animation game design student, currently in my second year here. Our college offers internships and final placements during our third and fourth years. I have heard that many big companies like Rock Star, Ikarus 3D, and even Amazon Game Studios come to our campus for hiring, along with a lot of other game development studios. While the game industry in India is quite good, finding really good jobs is tough. It really all comes down to your portfolio. Our college tries its best to bring these companies here, but if your portfolio isn't strong, you probably won't get any job.

Campus: The campus at World University is about 12 acres big, which is quite good for a college only for design courses. Especially for animation game design, we have really high-tech labs here. These labs come with RTX-enabled PCs and every student gets an x-pen tab. They even have ARVR technology for us to use. Talking about the hostels, both for boys and girls, the rooms are for three people and they all have air conditioning. Each room also has its own private washroom.

Admission: Selection at WUD came with a mixed experience. The merit list was announced on time, counselling and document verification went smoothly with helpful staff, the online registration portal felt a bit clunky, and the well organized orientation eased the transition.

Academic: What I like most about our college is how good the teaching is. All our teachers are highly qualified and they really know their stuff well. They always make sure to start each new lesson from the very beginning, covering all the basics first. And the best part is, they handle students with so much care.

Placement: Regarding placements, our college is pretty impressive. Almost 100% of the students from the last batch got jobs, and they landed spots in some really good companies. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA, which is quite high. On average, students usually get packages between 8 LPA to 9 LPA, and even the lowest package was 6 LPA. Many companies visit our campus to hire students, and Wipro is known to be a top recruiter from our college.

Campus: Our college has good Wi-Fi, which is very helpful. All our labs are well-equipped, and they have lots of computers with the latest software. The library here also has all the books students need for their studies. Classrooms are quite big and spacious. The only thing is that the overall infrastructure of our college is still being developed.

Admission: Application to World University of Design turned out smooth and efficient. The online form was user friendly, counselling and document verification steps were clearly communicated, and the admission team provided consistent support during registration.

Academic: In my college, only a few teachers are actually good. Right now, with the pandemic going on, teachers are just not helpful at all. They only care about finishing assignments, not about whether we actually learn anything. Plus, there's not enough stationery in college, but they still make us buy it from outside. For assignments, they even ask us to watch things around us, which is really tough to do these days. I think they need to properly teach first-year students because the first year is meant to be the base. Honestly, I don't know anything related to my course even now.

Placement: You can get some cool roles like interior and spatial designer, lighting designer, or even a visual merchandiser from our course. Placements are quite decent, with more than 50% of students getting a job. The highest salary someone got was 6 LPA, and the lowest started around 5,000 rupees each month. Asian Paints is a big name that often recruits from here. Since I am only in my first year, I don't really know much about how many students get internships.

Campus: From what I've heard about our college, even though I haven't been there yet because of the pandemic, the infrastructure looks good in photos and from feedback. One thing I know is that the workshop area is a bit small. I don't really have any idea about the facilities in the hostels. But I've heard that the mess and canteen serve good quality food.

Admission: Procedure for WUD admissions felt straightforward and transparent. Online application and test slot booking were easy, interview and document verification staff answered queries clearly, and the flow from aptitude test to final registration was well managed.

Academic: Our college has really good teachers, they are super skilled and know a lot. Many of them even came from NID which is pretty cool. What I like most is their curriculum; they teach us both game art and game design, not just one thing. Exams are not too hard if you're a self-learner and put in the effort yourself. You can easily clear them if you try, but don't just rely on the college for your marks and future.

Placement: From our college, all students get internships, which is really good. Out of these, 75% are even paid internships. When it comes to placements, the average package offered in 2022 was 4.70 lacs, and the top one was 24 lacs. Big companies such as Rockstar and Ikarus 3D came to recruit students here.

Campus: In our college, the Wi-Fi internet can be a bit tricky, sometimes it's really slow or even bad, but other times it's just okay. The whole college building and facilities, what we call infrastructure, are also just average, nothing really special there. The food you get in the mess is also only average, so don't expect amazing meals. But for the hostel rooms, you get your own attached washroom, and they clean your room every day which is a big convenience. If you ever need a doctor, medical facilities are available on campus. Also, we have lots of sports options here with courts for volleyball, football, basketball, tennis, table tennis, and badminton for everyone to use.

Admission: Experience at World University of Design included a smooth online application, followed by portfolio review and personal interview. The team communicated clearly during document verification and counselling, and the informative orientation helped create a strong start.

Academic: At our institute, the teachers are really helpful and supportive. They all have at least an M.Des qualification, which shows they are well educated. The quality of teaching is good, and the course curriculum is very relevant for us. It helps us learn properly and also makes us ready for the industry. The semester exams are mostly based on what we learn, not just rote, and the pass percentage is very high, around 99%.

Placement: For students in our course, placements are really good. About 85% of us get placed every year, and the average salary package is around 5 LPA, which is decent. Big companies like Lopez Design, Wipro, Delivery, and Paytm come to hire us. They offer good roles like UX Designer, Assistant Designer, and even Chief Designer. Almost 80% of students also got internships, with companies like Woodland, Lopez Design Studio, and some local companies giving us opportunities.

Campus: Our college campus has free Wi-Fi everywhere, which is super helpful for studies and everything. The hostel rooms here are big and comfy, and we share them with one friend. For food, it's good quality, and they have lots of different dishes every day. Also, the canteen is nice, with a big menu and everything tastes great. If anyone needs it, there's a medicine room, and the warden helps with first aid 24/7. Plus, we have a big ground for football and cricket, and indoor games like table tennis and carrom are also available for us to play.

Admission: Flow of the WUD admission process remained efficient. The online application was simple, admission team responses during registration were prompt, document verification was organized, and staff support helped complete provisional admission steps smoothly.

Academic: The courses we study here are super relevant to today's world. Our faculty and the curriculum cover all the latest software and stuff needed for industrial knowledge. In Animation and Game design, most exams are practical and last for 6 hours. They feel really exhausting, but because of how the modules are taught, we can manage them easily.

Placement: The placements here are pretty decent. Mostly, 80% of students get placed in companies they like, and the rest either take a gap year or decide to study more. The salary packages start from 4 lakh rupees and can go up to 20 lakh rupees. Big companies like Rockstar and Ikarus 3d come here for courses like 3D generalist, concept artist, 3D designer, character artist, and more. But yeah, your placement totally depends on how strong your student portfolio is.

Campus: From my experience here, the hostel facilities are quite good. Each floor has an induction cooktop and a fridge, which is really helpful. All rooms are triple sharing, and lifts are available 24/7, so no issues there. There's a common room in both hostels with TVs and games like carrom to chill. Food-wise, it's pretty varied – they have South Indian, North Indian, and even Chinese on weekends, so everyone finds something they like. They serve food four times a day: breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Just remember the curfew, we need to be back in the hostel by 9:40 PM.

Admission: Journey at World University of Design remained smooth overall. The WUDAT and interview rounds were well managed, communication around the merit list was clear, document verification was quick, and registration stayed hassle free with good staff support.

Academic: You should really visit our campus once, I think. About our teachers, they are super qualified and know a lot, and the whole faculty understands students well, treating us nicely. For learning software, they teach you the basics, but for advanced stuff, you have to learn it yourself. One big thing is attendance, it's a must, so make sure you don't skip classes or you'll get into trouble.

Placement: About placements at our college, they actually just kicked off the year I joined. Many good companies came for campus recruitment too. Your overall performance is super important if you want to get placed. The college won't promise you a job, but companies do visit to pick students. One tip: try to visit the campus first before you enroll.

Campus: From my experience, the college campus was truly amazing and quite huge. Everything there felt really new and well-built, making the whole place look so beautiful. Our hostel was also great, and it even had air-conditioners. The campus had all the labs and every facility a student could ever need. Talking about the mess food, it was mostly good. Sure, sometimes it was not that great, but generally it was good, and I actually still miss that food now.

Academic: Our curriculum for Animation and Game Design is super good. It covers pretty much everything you need to know for making a video game, like from basic modeling to creating full, rigged characters. Also, the teachers for this course are one of the best in our university. They totally understand what the industry needs and expects from us.

Placement: In our college, for Animation and Game Design, the main companies hiring lately are Rockstar India and Ubisoft India. They give various roles like 3D modeler, generalist, rigging artist, and animator, but these are all for junior levels or interns only. I heard the highest package offered was 14 LPA, though this was for courses other than Animation and Game Design.

Campus: In our college, the campus size is quite humble, not too big. Most of the classrooms have AC, and if power goes, there's a generator backup so classes keep going. Especially for Animation and Game Design, the labs have good, updated computers with RTX 3070ti and Ryzen CPUs. Wi-Fi is also there, it's a little slow sometimes but still does the job. Talking about the hostel, its setup is good, with an elevator. Rooms have AC for hot summers and heating for cold winters, plus a geyser for hot water. One thing though, the mess food is a bit boring, and they don't serve non-veg food. For sports, we have courts for basketball, volleyball, and badminton, and there's a football ground too, just not a full-size one.
