Admission: Getting admission into XISS was a comfortable experience. After the merit list was released, the next steps were clearly shared. Staff at the verification desk were cooperative and made sure everything was in order before registration.

Academic: In my college, the course curriculum is really good. It's diverse and helps us explore all departments. This curriculum makes us ready for jobs in big companies and even in rural areas. Our teachers are super helpful and they guide us in the best way possible. The teaching quality here is just amazing.

Placement: The placements here are seriously good, almost every student, like 100%, gets a job. For salaries, the highest package someone got was 13 LPA, with the average being 5 LPA, and even the lowest was 4 LPA which is not bad. Top companies like JSLPS, Arohan, Bandhan bank, ICICI Lombard, BFIL, Jubliant, and PSI hire from our college. They offer cool roles too, such as young professionals, block project officers, consultants, and fellowships. Plus, almost 98% of students manage to get internships at places like JCB, JSLPS, and BRPLS, which is awesome.

Campus: Our college has many good things for students. We have a canteen, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi and labs, which is very useful. There are also big conference halls and an auditorium for events, plus video classes for learning. Hostel facilities are good overall, but sometimes the food quality is not so good. And yes, medical help is available here. We also have lots of sports and games to play.

Admission: Getting into XISS felt simpler than I had expected. The application portal was easy to use, updates about the merit list came on time, and the counselling process moved smoothly. Document verification didnt take much effort, and registration along with orientation felt well-arranged and reassuring.

Academic: Our college's Human Resource Management department is like the star department at XISS. Mostly because of the really good salary packages students get each year during placements. They've updated the course curriculum, so we get to learn all the main subjects along with different electives too. Plus, they teach interdisciplinary subjects which is nice. The business communication classes are also a big help, making us confident to speak up and learn about public speaking. The HRM program also has strong fieldwork built-in, where students visit different places to work or even teach, and this is a must-do part of our course.

Placement: Talking about placements, my batch, the 2019 one, had really good numbers. Almost 82% of us got placed, which was much better than last year's 67%. Out of 75 students in our batch, 62 actually got jobs. The highest salary package went up to 13 LPA, offered by big names like ITC and HZL, and the average package was around 5-6 LPA. Many big companies visited our campus for placements including Taj Group of Hotels, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Hero Motocorp, Tata Powers, Siesta Hotels, Cadillac Pharmaceutical, Jubilant, Sambandh, Alembic Pharma, Godrej, Vedanta, HDFC, ICICI, ICICI Lombard, Aarti Industries, Reliance Industries, Reliance Retail, HIL, Coromandel group, and Volvo Eicher. Some companies like Tata Steel, Maruti, HZL, and ITC even gave PPOs to our students.

Campus: The infrastructure at XISS is quite good. All our classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and ACs, which is really helpful. Also, every floor has good Wi-Fi with fast internet speed, perfect for classwork or making presentations. Besides that, the college has a basketball court, an auditorium, and a parking lawn. There's also a cafeteria, conference rooms, and even a music room for students. XISS also offers a well-maintained and developed computer lab.

Admission: The overall admission journey at XISS felt thoughtfully planned. The application portal was easy to navigate, instructions for exams and interviews were simple to follow, and the steps unfolded gradually without confusion. It made the entire process feel comfortable rather than stressful.

Academic: The teachers here are really helpful and they know a lot about their subjects. Most of them also have PhD degrees. They use modern ways to teach us. Every year, the college sets up a rural trip for us to Gumla and Simdega. Plus, we usually have an industrial visit sometime in September.

Placement: My college placements are really strong. The senior batches from 2016-18 and 2017-19 both got 100% placements, which is super good. We are also really hoping for 100% placements for our batch too. For jobs, the college brings in top companies like HDFC, ICICI Lombard, Tata AMC, Aditya Birla, Pantaloons, and many more big names from India.

Campus: On our campus, we have proper computer labs and a basketball court, which is cool. The hostels are pretty good too. Girls can pick between double-sharing rooms or bigger four-bedded rooms. For boys, they have 1, 2, and 4 sharing rooms available. Plus, there are bus facilities for everyone to easily go to college and then come back to the hostel.

Admission: From application to admission, XISS kept things simple. I didnt have to run around much for information, as most updates were communicated clearly. Document verification went smoothly, and staff were ready to help if something was missing. Overall, the process felt manageable.

Academic: Our teachers are super experienced and they know a lot about the industry and what skills you need after doing a PGDM. My PGDM in IT course taught me so many things, and I truly believe it will be very helpful for me in the future.

Placement: My experience at XISS, placements are always strong. Companies start coming in October, and most students find a job by February. They keep visiting till March, and the salary offers can be different. For our department, the average salary is usually about 6 LPA. And the good thing is, everyone gets an internship offer too.

Campus: Our college infra is okay, not like the huge MBA ones. But for our 300-350 students, the campus is pretty good actually. We get libraries and Wi-Fi too. Canteen food is also nice. And every year, there's a cultural program called Panache for all students.

Admission: My experience at XISS during admission was positive. There was proper guidance at every stage, especially during counselling and document verification. Registration was smooth, and the orientation helped me feel more confident about joining.

Academic: About our college faculty, each department has 7 teachers for 60 students. These teachers are very helpful, qualified, and they know their subjects well. We often have guest lectures too, where famous people from big companies visit our campus to give us talks. Our course also includes a rural visit and an industrial visit.

Placement: About placements, our college did a great job. The Finance and Marketing department was the first one to get 100% placements, and students there got an average salary package of 5 LPA. For the other three departments, around 75% of students found jobs. Mostly, students were offered roles like relationship manager and marketing manager. The college offers internships itself, but if you have good contacts outside, you can actually skip the college internships and do your own.

Campus: I like about our college is that both boys and girls hostels have Wi-Fi, which is super helpful. We also have good facilities like two libraries, labs, a conference room, and an auditorium. Our campus isn't really big, but it does have parking and a basketball court. For sports, we use a shared ground behind the college with St. Xavier's and XISS. About the food, it's just okay to eat.

Admission: What I liked about XISS was the clarity during admission. From the beginning, timelines were shared properly. During counselling, staff explained procedures clearly, and document verification went smoothly. Joining didnt feel confusing at any point.

Academic: The teaching here is amazing. Our professors are really experienced, and they've even presented papers. What we study is mostly about the development sector. This means we learn how government plans are put into action to make rural life better and help people there as much as possible.

Placement: Getting placed from our college is quite good, almost 98% of students find a job. Plus, everyone, like 100%, gets an internship which is a big plus. For salaries, the highest someone got was Rs. 60,000 every month, the lowest was Rs. 23,000, and the average is around Rs. 35,000 monthly. Talking about annual packages, the top one offered in our course hit 13.5 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average came to 5.5 LPA. Many big companies come for recruitment, like Vedanta, BRPLS, JSLPS, Arohan, Bandhan bank, J K seeds, ICICI, Lombard, BFIL, Jubliant, Care India, and Hindustan Unilever. Most of the time, the main job role offered is black programme officer.

Campus: My college campus has Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms, plus they offer video call classes. We have lots of sports played here, and our team actually goes to XLRI events each year to represent XISS, which is nice. There are also different fests organised. The food quality isn't very good, but apart from that, everything else is fine.

Admission: Getting selected for XISS was genuinely a good experience. The entrance process was clearly explained, interview updates came without delays, and seeing my name on the merit list was a relief. Document verification and final registration were handled efficiently, and the orientation helped me feel confident about joining.

Academic: Our college teachers are really good, like, they are well qualified and always ready to help students. The teaching quality is okay, but it can definitely get better. Mostly, teachers use projectors to teach, and sometimes we do activities or case studies too. We have 5 departments, and each one has around 6-7 teachers for 60 students. But in HRM and RM, there are 75 students. For industry exposure, we get to go on industrial and rural visits, and there are contests too. Our course has about 50-55 papers in total, and we finish it in just 20 months.

Placement: Our college placements were really good this time around. Lots of companies came to hire students, including big names like ICICI group, HDFC, Netscribes, Ujjivan, UTI, Samastha, Change et all, and Bandhan bank. Most of the job offers had a salary package of 4 to 5 Lacs. The best part is that our Finance department managed to get 100% placements.

Campus: What I like about our college is the classrooms; they are well-equipped with projectors, sound systems, AC, and good chairs. We also have Wi-Fi available on every floor, but each floor has its own password. The library here is really big and helpful for students who want to do self-study. For other facilities, there's a gym, sports area, and a computer lab. The canteen is quite good too, with a big seating area. The only thing is that the hostels are outside the campus.

Admission: My experience of joining XISS was fairly positive. The application and selection updates were timely, which helped reduce anxiety. At the counselling venue, staff guided us patiently through document checks. The orientation session gave a good sense of what to expect, which made settling in easier.

Academic: I like most about XISS is the faculty. Our teachers are so supportive and always ready to help students whenever we need them. All of them are very qualified and know their subjects well. The way they teach is really good, and it's super easy for students to understand everything. They follow a proper study plan each trimester too, which I think makes students here really ready for the industry.

Placement: Our college has awesome placements, almost everyone gets placed here. They divide the placements into two phases. About 90% of students found jobs, and for summer internships, it's even better, almost 100% students get them. The average salary package is around 5 LPA. Big companies like TCS, WNS, Byju's, and HDFC come for hiring. Especially students from the IT branch get really nice jobs. Roles like analyst and relationship manager are commonly offered here.

Campus: What I like about our college is the good facilities we have. The Wi-Fi here is always available, and our labs are quite good too. Classrooms are comfy with AC and fans, though it's a bummer we don't have a sports ground. There's a really good library on the ground floor packed with lots of books, magazines, and newspapers, including books from many different authors, which helps us students a lot. XISS also offers separate hostels for girls and boys, but these are located outside the main campus. And the college canteen food is good, they have many different food items to pick from.

Admission: Applying for XISS felt less stressful compared to other colleges I considered. The online application worked well, and interview communication was clear. Once selected, the document verification process was smooth, and the admission staff explained everything calmly.

Academic: What I like most about this college is how good the teachers are. They're all super helpful, really qualified, and know so much. The teaching quality overall is very strong. We get to learn in classrooms using projectors, but if the subject needs it, like for practical exposures, they also take us outside. The course syllabus is very relevant, which helps a lot in making us ready for jobs in the industry.

Placement: Almost 90% of students from our college got placed. That's a really good number. The highest salary package anyone got was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package was around 7 LPA. For internships, we get opportunities with good companies like Tata, World Vision, JSLPS, BRLPS, and FES. They offer top roles especially in leadership, team building, and roles focusing on 'putting the last first'.

Campus: What I like most about our college is the facilities. We get Wi-Fi access all the time, which is super helpful. Also, there are proper computer labs and specialized GIS labs for us. All the classrooms are air-conditioned, no matter what course you are taking, and the library is AC too. The canteen serves up some pretty good food. Plus, they really encourage sports like basketball, cricket, and table tennis. For any medical help, they have arranged facilities at Sadar Hospital, which is the closest one.

Admission: My admission experience at XISS was surprisingly calm. Each step was explained clearly, and during document verification the staff were patient and approachable. Communication about interviews and selection was timely, so by the time registration happened, everything felt under control.

Academic: The teaching quality in our college is really good. Our teachers are super helpful; if you have any problem, you can easily reach out to them, and they help solve it. All teachers are highly qualified and know a lot. Many of them used to work in big companies, so they share their experiences, which really helps guide us. They mostly teach using presentations and also give us good sources to keep ourselves updated. We also get to learn about real industry stuff through seminars, special sessions, and even industrial visits.

Placement: The placement cell in our college is very active and helpful. They tell us everything about the companies visiting, like what jobs they offer. For the past two or three years, everyone in marketing, finance, and rural management got placed, which is great. Finance students got the highest salary of 8 LPA, with the lowest around 2.5 to 3 LPA, and the average salary was 4 to 5 LPA. Top companies like HDFC, Samantha Micro Finance, Pantaloons, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Lombard, Ujjivan, and TATA AMC came for hiring. Students got jobs like credit analyst and asset manager. Also, around 70 to 80 percent of students got internships from the college, and the rest applied on their own. The internship money was also good, with the highest stipend being 25,000 to 30,000 rupees. The lowest was 800 to 1,000 rupees, and the average was around 4,000 to 5,000 rupees.

Campus: Our college has good facilities like WiFi on every floor and also in the library. Classrooms here are air-conditioned, and we also get digital class facilities. But a small problem is that some fans and tube lights don't work right, and chairs are really uncomfortable to sit on. We have two libraries, and finding books is easy because everything is well arranged there. However, I think they should add more books because during tests and exams, many students can't get books due to the shortage. Even though the campus is not big, the college tries its best to make students perform well in studies and other activities too. They organize an inter-department basketball tournament every year, and our students also go for inter-college tournaments to represent us. For medical help, they give first aid if someone gets hurt, and if it's serious, they take the person to a hospital. The food quality in our college canteen is not very good, to be honest. Also, the hostel rooms are not well-furnished.
