About Anurag University
The Gayathri Educational and Cultural Trust (GECT) is the organization that oversees Anurag University Hyderabad. "Guru" Sri Sivananda Murthy Garu established the trust in 1998 with the goal of providing high-quality education. Founded in 2002, the Anurag Group of Institutions (AGI) is one of the first integrated campuses in South India, providing courses in business management, pharmacy, and engineering and technology. The formal name of AGI was changed to Anurag University in 2020. The Institute has UGC approval and is associated with JNTU, Hyderabad. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has granted Anurag University a "A" grade for accreditation.
According to the NIRF Ranking 2023, the university is ranked 101 out of 200 colleges in the overall category. Additionally, it has received a ranking in the band of 101-151 for the Engineering Category. Further, it has also ranked 60th and 22nd in 2023 in the Engineering category by Outlook and Times respectively.
